Couple of corrections:
-ace pilot gets hidden detection at level 4, not 3
-meant to say level 4 demoman, not 5 (demoman doesn’t have a level 5)
I forgot to include the golden crook boss lol. The best value is at level 1, which when combined with its unit, has a dps to cost ratio of 9.91 dps per 1k spent. For hidden detection, level 4 is the best, with a value of 5.63 dps per 1k spent when combined with its 3 units.

6:58 you could tell that level 2 commander gives on average even 25% buff, since it always will give 15% despite having ability active or not, and it turns to 45% for 10 seconds, and you have to wait for 20 seconds more after ability ends. So, we can assume average buff is 25% per 30 seconds if ability is spammed since in these 30 seconds 1/3 is 45% buff and rest 2/3 is 15% buff. (45x10 + 15x20):30 = 25.
that's, of course if there's only one commander.

About sledger lv 3 is another level to consider as it can constantly freeze large enemy (this only happen with enemy with the size around a slow boss because freeze time is scaled base on enemy size ) while the other level can’t because of the added attack speed leaving a bigger gap between the end of freeze effect and hit so personally i go for lv 3 way more often than going straight to lv 4 or 5
I agree with you, level 3 sledger is good at stunning big enemies like abnormal boss, giant boss and sometimes tank but its kinda bad to fallens and glitches plus if its affected by a commander buff then it ruins its freezing momentum

Hello I think that levels with best price over DPS aren't necessarily the best bc in most of the scenarios u need a specific DMG value or a good ability to deal with certain enemies

i know one thing, and that is if you place a minigunner which is all the time buffed by a max dj, then go for a max one (upgrade is 120$ cheaper than an entire level 3)

I would say best value for military base is level 2, because the gunner isn’t always 100% effective, it can’t shoot hidden.

I think you forgot to add that engi gets lead detection to but that probably doesn’t change much
Archer and executioner have flying detection from lvl 0 which can be quite useful against wave 12 balloons in hardcore
archer is worth nothing it is one of the worst towers ever even tho it used to be able to solo fallen with farms and onlly a dj no commander on medium maps

It’s better to just get a max level accelerator because level 3 isn’t that good to a max accel because the charge up is way faster and the dps is way better and it can attack faster but level is 3 is really only good in early mid game because that’s when your still maxing your farms
You forgot about a dj discount .Sometimes can make different like with minigunner because discount dont touch spawn price

Awesome video but i think u did a mistake by saying gladiators swing rate "decreases by 35%"
It’s not a mistake, it decreases its firerate for example a tower has 1 damage every 1 second and that is *decreased* to 0.50 then it’s dps would be increased to 2. If the firerate was increased to 1.5 then the dps would be lower

actually the formula is a bit complicated, if we combine the max commander with the coa ability activated + a max gladiator with the ability on, it would say that the firerate decreases by 90%, which would make it go from 0.5 firerate to 0.05 firerate (from 80 dps to 800 dps), but no, the formula is (firerate)/(1+n%), or just the firerate buff is halved from what you expect, so it goes from 0.5 to 0.275 (80 dps to 145 + (5/11 ) dps)
