There seemed to be some confusion on the concept of Fiends and how they differ from Devils, especially during your discussion of Aki47. It's kind of tricky to remember, but keep in mind that Fiends are naturally weaker therefore they are *not* immortal. The devils themselves will reincarnate and if they are hybrids, then they are immortal. Aki is gone.
Also, Power wasn't revived because of Pochita's abilities. That was only possible because Power is the fiend of the Blood Devil. If Pochita could do that, he could have revived Beam who gave Denji blood while they were in Hell.
To me, fiends are established as semi immortal and akis finishing blow didn't decapitate him and seems recoverable, especially when we don't see what happens to his body, even when everyone else had theirs put on display

@@VolumeOnePodcast make sense but Aki gave up, so he stoped fighting to live which means he is not coming back (I loved Aki but I dont want him to come back as it was powerful moment and he finaly found peace. Dont wish for him to continue his suffering)

Makima's such an insane villain....like the level of manipulation and schemes she sets up since the very beginning of the series is ingenious...some of the things she plots you only get it after a second or third read because of how nothing is spoonfed in this manga series.......and also another thing about about Makima that I find interesting...if you think about it, throughout the story she's only done extreme things that cater to her goal, she's only been obviously violent towards devils and when it comes to doing certain things to control the said devils...even if it takes a few or more human sacrifices to achieve her goal..she even took down the gun devil and manipulated that whole situation so that denji could kill akip...and speaking of that, even things she did to denji, Aki and power...she did all that because it was part of her plan to gain power over the chainsaw devil. She's never killed for the sake it,the prime example being kishibe.....she could've easily killed him so many times on the spot...but for some reason he's still alive. I'm so confused as to why. hope we get more on Makima.
P.s. the latest chapter was so bittersweet..power and denji forever.
Makima is one of the best antagonists! Everything has/had a purpose which is super satisfying to recall those events and put them together later! YES! POWER AND DENJI FOREVER! ❤️🩸🥺

Just a side note: Quanxis fiend that you assumed to be another Blood fiend is theorized to be the Dragon fiend.
She has horns, breathes fire and is called 'Long', of course referencing the chinese Dragon.

I would like to point out, while you guys don’t like how the sword hybrid activates his transformation, I’m pretty sure it’s a reference to the old manga Dororo, where the main character pulls his arms off to use his swords attached to them. I will say, it’s not a problem if you don’t know it, I can see how it would be stupid without the context.
yeah it makes much more sense of its a reference to something, out of that it seems very odd

Violence Devil has a ton of potential, it feels like Violence as a concept should be nearly on par with other primal fears of man
I think Violence is fine the way he is, he should be a primal fear, but violence is also something that many people enjoy, fighting is something that perfectly normal people can like even if they fear it, it balances out.
