In MG1 Ren gives the introduction into the Money Game and what´s wrong about it In MG2 Ren gives the explaination how the Money Game is played In MG3 Ren gives the ramification of what the MG can do with one´s life The whole tenor of the whole trilogy is basically : "The Money Game is a self-destructive game which we humans as a whole are playing"
My Grandparents died at the beginning of this year and left my parents and me and my siblings an inheritance. I can tell you that every single one of us would rather have them still with us than have the money. We were all raised to understand that there are more important things in the world than money.
I was born in London in the 1970’s. We were as poor as can be but so was everyone around us. It still lingered on me in to adulthood however. I became a millionaire and had everything I never expected to have. I am in my mid forties now and due to divorce and illness I am about to lose everything. Believe me, money is important, in this world it is needed. Having said that I will never need as much as I previously had. Good family and friends are incredibly important in life.
@@G02372 I bet you would be willing to trade large sums of money in exchange for healthy family and friends who stick around and don't screw you. I know I would.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Amanda never really knew her grandparents so my grandparents virtually became hers, I have one grandmother left and I would 💯 for go any sort of inheritance to be able to have my grandparents here for much longer

Those without money wake up every day with a purpose, the pursuit of basic needs... food, water, shelter, security. Those who already have the basics, wake up every day in pursuit of a purpose.

thank you for continuing to react and support my favourite artist ever, the album is amazing the first track seven sins is fire sending big love from the UK ❤❤
I have experience of it in my family, on my mum’s side, bother her parents had their own differing experiences. He dad’s grandfather was born into poverty to a single mother at a time when poverty was poverty and when single parents were looked down upon, he worked his way up and went on to create his own business and was very successful and ended up living in a Manor House, being a Major of the town, having dinner with Royalty etc and his son, my granddads father was born into it and inherited everything and ran off with the maid and left my grandad and his mother to fend for themselves and then left everything to the maid when he died, so yeah, he was the complete opposite of his father and my grandad was more like his grandad. My mum’s mother was born into a wealthy family that went back generations and is descendants of royalty and when her parents passed away her brother inherited everything as was the way at the time, everything went to the eldest son, she was made a director of the company but she was a woman so it was very different than a female director nowadays, but her brother who inherited everything was a very heavy smoker, a gambler and an alcoholic and basically blew it all and squandered it and the company closed and my gran was left with nothing out of it. So for both my mum’s parents, that generational wealth was gone, especially on her mum’s side which went back millennia whereas her dad’s side was a self made man whose son blew it in one generation. My experience is that the longer the generational wealth has been past down, the more responsibility is on the next generation not to blow it and those who become self made are more likely to lose it in the next generation because their isn’t that culture deep rooted into the family of knowing how to ensure that the wealth is properly nurtured when it’s passed down, that knowledge comes from experience and so I would agree that more should be done to teach people about the idea of generational wealth instilling good financial values, knowledge and responsibility into your children so they make good choices so that they can then pass it on to their children and so on and so on, a parental responsibility. When you have money, things tend to be more disposable and easily replaced whereas I know having grown up having to work for what I got and not being spoiled as a kid, I grew up being appreciative of what I had and looked after it because if I lost it or broke it, it wasn’t going to be replaced and I still live by that now in my 40’s, probably to an unhealthy degree but when you have had to work for something you learn to look after it, it has more value
the poor are held accountable for their crimes, but the rich and powerful commit far worse crime but their power and influence stop them from being held to account and those we think have the power are the front men for those that really hold it. the wealth will never trickle down as then they lose their power, in fact since the times of regan more of the money has trickled upwards rather then down. i don't even like rap, but ren's talent shines out. great reaction btw

Samuel (the director) said Yamaha loaned them the piano - its worth about 100k, and they also had to reimburse one of the orchestra violinists as the rain damaged the bow (if I remember) but yes lower budget with such good quality.
Subbed! This was one of your best re-actions.... listening to your discussions was really interesting and thought provoking....you should listen to Uninvited by Ren....it will make you smile and squirm :)
Hey thank you for the sub! And good news, we have reacted to all the money games but Sick Boi has been on our list for a while, haven’t gotten to it yet. Cheers!
I look on this trilogy as #1 = greed created by politics to divide and conquer populations, #2 = Corporate greed and the need to keep growing a company at any cost. #3 = Personal greed and the inherent need that whatever you have achieved is never really enough. I think Ren is the modern day Shakespere blending tragedy and comedy to entertain and inform, or maybe he is Morpheus trying to wake us all up from the Matrix, a contruct built to control and constrain our thoughts and actions.
If you start at the top there is no place left to go but down and most of the people that's have to experience that can't handle it and that's when the generational wealth that was built ends.
Lmao Amanda said generational poverty lol she is too cute. Loved you guys reaction but the one thing you should have mentioned was he was programmed from a child and his father seem to never be satisfied
I think Ren’s point isn’t that money, success and wealth is a bad thing or evil in itself. His goal with the series, in my opinion, is to get people to reflect on what lengths are they willing to go through to achieve those objectives. Understand the big picture of how our society is structured and the dark side of greed and envy.
The probleme is not how much you are rich or poor, it's more about what you do with it. Often we talk about society but how much of a society are we still truely are? Mine Mine give me give me!! When you look at country happiness scale ( yes it does exciste) the country who are 1, 2 and 3 are always country where they have more social base economy, more taxes but way more services, like free school ( up to uneversity) free health care, parenting leave up to 1 year. Those country are not base on '' the american dream'' of succes they are base on ''more to everyone'' . You can get more rich if you want, you can make fortune if it's what is driving you but it's not what you'll be teached at school as the only way to ''become someone'' I know they are not perfect, but let's start with what is working the best and grow from their instead of looking at our own individual place and say : their is nothing we can do... great reaction 🙂
Someone else said that but that can't be true. The strings section and Charley the piano players pay even at a discount is much more than $2000.00. They had to hire about 40 extras and the workmen to put the rain pipework in. I guess another -0- added. Probably closer to $20,000. Still $100,000's to millions less than any big label production. Yamaha did loan the $100,000 piano to Ren for the video.
@kellyt5341 Ren said £2000 in a live stream. Nearly everybody in the video or who worked on the video are just Ren's friends. I even think Yamaha lent Ren the piano.
I've been hearing about this "generational wealth" thing lately. Not sure how many people can relate, definitely don't know what that means. Trying to save for my kid's college and that is stressful enough but not sure if that would even mean generational wealth.
in america, land was wealth and there was only 1 color and 1 sex that could own land. Generational wealth unless after slavery is a new concept to most black Americans and all women no matter the color unless from their husbands or spouses. Touchy subject but you got it. My mom is not American and like people from other countries who parent/or parents came to the US there a lot more expectations on their kids to get their own wealth so for me it is a more my mom.
Heard a story of a couple who won $22 million....and didn't tell their kids so they would find their own passions and life paths.......they planned to tell their kids later in life...not when they were teenagers .... not sure what I would do...:)
The sad thing is those that don't have massive amounts of money, when they get old will die miserably. With falling birth rates and social security in jeopardy, the only decent medical care you'll be able to get is what you pay for it out of pocket. In a capitalist society, every decision is made based on the greatest good and economic viability forces a decision in 99.99% of the situations.
I know 2 very rich kids. The girl is working and has never asked her parents for anything. The man of 27 years has never done anything and is just waiting for his parents to die. Comes down to parenting🤷

Talk about a bigger budget? That piano alone is 100-200k. He rented though haha...13:00 This question is best answered by a story about choices. An alcoholic man had 2 sons. One son became and alcoholic; the other, never drank. Someone asked one why he never drank and the other why he did not. They both had the same answers. "Because my father did". 15:14 Sounds like Amanda came to that conclusion.
