From a technical perspective she is amazing. Part of the trick with switching from cleans to growls is that they engage different parts of the vocal plumbing; so shifting completely from cleans to growls disengages the vocal cords and doesn't strain them. She has AMAZING control and discipline, and pulls it off better and in a more extreme way than most. In some songs, like Teacher Teacher, she literally shifts back and forth mid-phrase; often using breath change tricks to help engage/disengage. There is a LOT of note and word/vowel placement choices and breath interval choices that go into doing this well; it is not arbitrary. There are some samples and doubling in the mix, but that is all normal stuff that is used on stage as well.

I've been reading some of the comments and from the outside looking in so many people are floored by the fact you don't know who Tech N9ne is. Yes he's been doing this for a very long time. But so many people have forgotten that each and every one of us didn't know who he was until we did. What I mean is, ALOT of Hip Hop fans didn't give and still don't give him the love he deserves because of his persona. I'm extremely guilty of exactly that. I've been a fan of Hip Hop for basically my entire life. Tech has been known to me for 20 plus years. But I didn't give an honest listen until probably the last, less than 10 years. I knew the circles he ran in musically and the types of fans he had and did not think he was going to be worthy of my time as a listener. I WAS SO ABSOLUTELY WRONG. He's nothing short of brilliant. So skilled and so beautiful at the soul level. He's without question a pioneer and the best at what he does. Don't apologize for not knowing him. Everything in it's own time, right? This song was your time to be exposed to him. To be fair, I'm not a FIR fan. Never have been. Not the type of Rock I personally enjoy. I gave this song a try because I heard Tech and Alex Terrible are on it. And Holy Crap do I absolutely love this song. So I guess it was my time to appreciate Falling In Reverse. Funny how life works. And as a late edit, A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE didn't get exposed to Tech N9ne until UA-cam became a thing and more accurately, until reaction videos became popular. It gave fans an outlet to possibly expose new listeners to music they know and love.

Epitaph Records takes the film budget out of his pay. So Ronnie and someone else, a friend of his, are funding these films. And they are certainly short films. And they probably cost nearly 10 million to make. I work in low level VFX. So take my guesstimate with a grain of salt. But it’s probably a better guess than most people’s. 5-10 million.

I highly recommend a deep dive on Tech N9ne. He is not your average rap artist. He's 52 years old and has been putting out amazing music for over 30 years. He's collaborated with artists like Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Jonathan Davis from Korn and Serj Tankian from System of a Down and the song with The Doors and Elton John himself is a huge fan of Tech N9ne and even had him as a guest on his rocket man podcast. If I were to recommend one song to get a good idea of what he's capable of I would recommend you check out his track called BRIGHTFALL
