In 4 days, it will be the 1 year anniversary of when Hi Ren premiered. It currently has over 22 million views. I think it would be really cool for all of the reactors to make a video for Ren, telling him what an impact he has had on us all this past year. He's changed lives.
Honestly, that was my key takeaway. How he advocated for the child. It sticks with me and it solidifies my respect for him in an unrelenting fashion. He's a genuinely good human being and it's a hill I'll die upon.
@@thewolfjohnson Totally agree. We struck the biggest goldmine we could hope for. Which is also why I am going to keep pushing him. And I never did that for any artist whatsoever in that fashion nor I ever will again most likely. He is just EVERYTHING and then some.
@@thewolfjohnson and the way he also made sure you were doing okay after you got the news of your friend. I am so sorry for your loss, I know the feeling. Ren is amazing as are you Wolf ❤️
@@craigbuschlejr.3934 that's very kind of you to say. Thank you 🖤🙏 I didn't catch this part on film, but he actually stopped before a take to make sure I was okay. So even while he had the pressure of the universe on his shoulder, he made a conscious thought to lend me any of his compassion.
I’m the kind of person who loves reading the credits and watching the extras on movies, because I appreciate all the people involved behind the scenes and just how much work it takes to create something. This is possibly the best and realest POV documentary I’ve ever seen. My sympathies and respect to you Wolf for your professionalism and commitment during a terrible time. I’ve now seen a different side to Ren and Yourself that makes me appreciate the art you guys make and share. Thank you for all your creativity!
Amazing job Wolf! Ren couldn't have picked a better person to make the BTS for MG3. Really..., well fucking done mate. Im proud of you! big W . Lets go.
"He's just a dude, doing some phenomenal shit" was possibly my favourite line when I saw the official BTS film. I mean, I don't even think it's because of what it tells us about your impression of Ren; it's more related to how good you are at vlogging. 1) You pull the viewer in immediately in the BTS, and made us care about you (and I don't think you need to have been a TheWolfJohnson youtube channel watcher before watching the BTS for this to be true) 2) You introduced us to Connor and you chose bits of your convo that really established that you two were getting along in what seems like a really comfortable way 2) You showed us without droning on and on and on about it that you had some nerves about meeting Ren - what you included in the edit left me with the impression that you had already internally been trying to talk yourself out of it so that you didn't have the nerves interfering with filmmaking/documenting decisions you were going to have to make as you went, simultaneously under pressure because you had to get all the footage you might need in such a short amount of time. 3) The moment you actually *met* Ren... idk if I'm the only one, but it felt like I could feel whatever nerves you hadn't been able to subdue, sort of collect in intensity as Ren "ambushed" you (not sure that's exactly what happened but it seemed like even though you KNEW he was gonna be there, you weren't ready for him to COME AT YOU lol. You certainly weren't ready to get the camera on him when he appeared)... but it was like when you guys hugged, I could feel the tension evaporate. 4) the scene in the Garden Party folks' kitchen *really* followed through on how casual/comfortable/relaxed/equal the social dynamic was even when now including a stranger dropped into the mix 5) so your exchange with Connor in the car afterwards.. "He's just a dude, doing some phenomenal shit" ... it was a super real statement. It encapsulated your experience of being a fan of some dude's incredibly music being asked out of the blue to come be a part of his next HUGE project, and then when you arrived, any anxiety you hadn't managed to take care of ahead of time vanishing in an instant. Like popping a bubble wand bubble. Despite being a HUGE Ren fan myself, by the time you showed up at the Garden Prty house I was less invested in seeing your film show that Ren was just "some normal dude" than I was in the story arc of your anxiety in meeting him. Because you sketched it out so well. And then of course, the film DOES show in those first moments in the kitchen, that Ren *is* "just some dude" so when you say "He's just a dude, doing some phenomenal shit," the viewer *knows* you're not just saying shit to the camera for fan service lol. That's probably a lot of words to explain something that someone else could have expressed more succinctly, but... idk, I figured trying to give details about something one viewer felt was *really* successfully done, that really connected with me on a few different human levels, might be the kind of feedback that would be helpful for you. Your BTS is an artistic creation, and it's worth more than "I'm a Ren fan, thank you for filming Ren for us! He's such a great guy, you're so lucky you got to meet him and see him while he does his phenomenal shit!"
Way Cool guys, Not sure what makes me feel better the great video you shot or watching Ren work at something he luvs doing. Both are equally gratifying. All of you guys hard work for the imagination of Ren ! Such a wonderful mind he has.. And worried about the kid, says a lot about the man !! Late but offer my condolence for his mate that passed ! I watch a LOT of reaction videos and this has been a favorite by far !! Highest marks !! And love !
Thank you for having us along for the journey. That was truly some beautiful and genuine footage Wolf. I got mad sympathy and understanding about what it feels like to grind through grief. Sending love. ❤
Thank you for coming along for the journey! And I appreciate your kindness. Grief is a heck of a process... there's lessons to be learned in there, but are we ever really ready for them? 🖤
One of your many layers Wolf . Ren knew what he was doing when he choose you .l sometimes worry about losing the mystic of a piece of art ( for myself ) but this is legend building. The passion, energy, ingenuity , artistry, excitement all shone through. So bravo for creating this brilliant film ! I enjoyed every minute of it !
The first version was amazing. This one is on a whole other level! I really appreciate how much time, effort, and heart you put into this, Wolf. It is wonderful!
The Lone Wolf did it again!!! I don't know how you do it, but even with all the beeping, screeching and chaos there's a zen-feeling throughout the whole video! Well done, be proud!
This reminds me of my time in the theater as an assistant director. Get the preparations, samples, equipment, repair. Last minute disasters. Then the excitement of the dress rehearsal. Excitement and concentration. Ren must have felt exactly like I did on opening day. Just one chance. In your case, the rain was doomed to a one-take. And then the curtain. And even though it was over, nobody knew what to do with themselves. When Ren said he didn't know whether to cry- I felt that way. We were of no use for days. Premiere hole. When the play stopped playing, we would meet up and talk about how we were doing so we wouldn't fall into depression. We felt so lonely without the theater family. What I found particularly great about Ren's set: There was no evaluation afterwards. We always had to endure that the day after the premiere. Everyone knew what didn't go so well or what they could have done better. Why pick on it. Ren just thanked everyone and thats it. That felt good. He also thought about the little boy who shouldn't have to wear a sack over his head for hours. Wonderful. So focused. I always wondered: how does he remember every comment he gets along the way? I had to write everything down. Unbelievable, this focus! And the politeness on set. Simply great. I would work with a team like that again in a heartbeat.
Thank You Wolf for uploading this! It was a Perfect Documentary of what I think is likely to be one of the most influential Art Performances of this Decade! It was absolutely fascinating to get to see just how much Literal Sweat and Effort it took to produce the Masterpiece that is Money Game 3! I Hope Ren and All of you continue to add your Unique Style to Our Current Cultural Consciousness!
I saw "Money game 3" day 1. I watch many many maaaaaaaany reactions. I had to wait yesterday to know there was a BTS. Now I'm here, at the end of the video and have to say thank you for this, that's just exactly what I needed. I'm a bit "jealous" I wasn't there, I would have so much enjoy giving my little brick to help this amazing artist who, like a lot of people changed my life (and I'm 53; so your life can change anytime). I'm so happy to see people living for art and not just make art lo live. All this team are people I would love to meet, talk, have a drink with and share some moment of life. I think the day he needs someone for anything of his pmasterpiece I will catch the first plane to say: I'm here! What can I do for help?!! After this documentary of 2'23" I feel at the same time empty and full of joy, mix with sadness, kind of melancholy. Well...I'm on emotions, that's what Ren gives. Thank you thank you thank you all again and you Wolf to share this. and of course: I'm a new subscriber now.
Wolf, that was totally amazing! Great job! What a wonderful experience to be on the inside of this. So much to take in, but you rose to the challenge. It answered some questions about how these things are put together, as most of us will never have this opportunity. It also shone a light on the personalities of Ren and his friends - a great bunch of creative guys. Thank you so much for all your hard work on this project, and patience for having to wait for its release. Sorry to hear about your friend. It must have been hard to put that away for a while. ❤
I enjoyed watching this enormously. It's so interesting to see what effort goes in to making a music video, so thank you for showing us the process and hard work that went in to Money Game Part 3. You did a great job.
Omg...great song, perfect script, good team of friends, enormous work, talent, talent, talent, critical art evaluator Ren, himself ... Thank you, Wolf! 💕🍀🙏🎶🎹

Music just pours out of that man! Thank you for this BTS view!
I finally had time and opportunity to watch this. It didn't feel 2,5 h at all. All those noises, harsh, steely, beeping, dragging or whatever sounds didn't bother at all, they made it real, made me feel like actually being there. But that silence! When you tell about your friend's death. That silence after that was a dagger to the heart. And all this, showing the work of everyone of you makes you appreciate the process(es) and the effort that has to be put to handle millions of details. Thank you for this extended version. Now we need a version with your commentary next! :)
One more thing. Related to the title. I said in a comment somewhere before that the change is perhaps the deepest theme in this. I still think that. It is so almost tangible. After everything was done you all seemed changed, different than before, not ever the same than before. And you were able to capture that!
This was the most incredible watch, mind blowing access to the creativity and artistry and sheer hard work that went into this video. The attention to detail was absolutely fascinating. Thank you so much for this Wolf.
Such a great film, when you watch the music video you don’t realise the work that goes into it, and how many people are involved. Love the song and I have a deeper respect for the film makers too now 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much for this awesome documentary. It is such a pleasure to slip along with you BEHIND THE SCENES!! So lovely to be able to watch this wonderful team of dedicated people around this great great and sympathetic genius of a guy. Your way of filming and portraying this most extraordinary video shoot took me right along with you ❤ I was (almost) there. THANK YOU😊😊😊 Marion🌟🖐
Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this video is that the extent to which it displays REN’s modesty. Obviously he himself is an extremely talented musician but at the end of the video, he is not to proud to ask Charlie the Pianist to send him a video of his hands, when he is playing the piece, so that Ren himself can learn how to play the piece more ergonomically. Ren always willing to be the humble student when appropriate.
Loved this Wolf ! It really took us behind the curtain and taught us how much was involved, how many people were involved, in making MG3 so good. Loved it - but I had to have a late dinner because I couldn't stop watching it !
Thank you for this. It made it much easier to comprehend all the work involved on both sides at every level. Hope that it was a satisfying step in your own journey to connect.
I have cried so many times watching ren but watching him care about that little boy in the heat has me bawling more than I ever have I think! The fact he had so much else on his mind but he was the one that realized that and made everybody else work around it just made me realize more what I heard he knew of how good of a man that he is
This was absolutely stunning! Loved every second of it. Thanks, Wolf, for showing how much work and talent was involved in making this masterpiece of a video 🖤🖤🖤
I don't believe it!!!! I live 10 miles from Abbotts Ripton. And the pub they went for a meal is where me and my colleagues are having our Xmas lunch!!! Good work Wolf.
I don’t usually comment on videos so I’m sorry if I sound strange. But I wanted to say thank you and Ren for putting this out. I appreciate it so much I have pots and I understand the amount of extra preparation that has to go into this before it even starts because of that. I understand that Ren will probably never see this but I still wanted to say thank you and if there’s anything I could ever help with I’d be more than happy to. ❤ best of luck
As a fellow Canadian very proud of you lifes🎉 not easy to navigate I But always changes I think that why we stay alive just our curiosity I'm 74 yrs old I should know love your grandma in spirit
Great job. I initially say the 2h30 minute running time and thing "this is gonna be a drag", but actually time flew by and the pacing was great. Looking forward to the extended extended directors cut..
This is neither here nor there but how tall is Ren? He looks taller than what I imagined. But most importantly- great job on this doc!! Loved every minute. ❤ new sub!
Wolf, the shorter BTS you released was such an amazing treat……this, wow…it was so good to see this, the action shots that we saw but so many of the quiet moments too. We know MG3 is a piece of art but I think it’s so good to see where the art comes from and the work and time that goes into a creation like this. It was also just great to get to know Ren’s team a little better too. Ren picked well for this assignment. So sorry about your friend but glad you had something like this as a creative outlet when you were hurting. Thank you for having us along for the ride 💜
I think its great to show(case) juat how much effort and hard work was put in by everyone and quite rightly that Should include yourself - and despite how long this BTS, to think it still only shows highlights out of hundreds of hours - i imagine there could even be a BTS of the BTS post-production work yo'uve had to put in in selecting the right clips, music accompaniment, arrangement etc - so many decisions if it were me i think my head would have exploded! (But then again i can get overwhelmed just trying to choose which cereal to buy in the supermarket). Well done for a great video, youve done Ren - and tourself proud 🎉
It's just got this great vibe running through it,loved when you first walked onto the house and got your reflection on the mirror.I especially like 23 minutes in the atmospheric music you used and the shots / voices just were perfect.👍
I’ve been watching this over a few days. Finally finished it today. Thank you for doing this BTS and sharing it with all of us. As a theatre tragic I was fascinated by what went into this production of MG3. Ren and his team’s attention to even the tiniest detail, movement or facial expression was incredible. What a treat it must have been to be part of something so special. Love the fact that you included the workers as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Love what you do.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Been watching for about an hour. Have to pause for now so I don’t get fired lol. So far I love it. Be back to watch the rest tonight. Great job Wolf. 😊
Thank you for sharing the extended version! You did an excellent job on the official version, and it's great to also get a chance to see a bit more of what went into the making of MG3 in this extended cut - and a bit more of your artistry in the beginning of this cut!
What a wonderful journey to be a part of from the first viewing of Hi Ren, through this amazing window of reactions and reactors to end up here almost a year later viewing through your camera, this amazing crew of Ren's team, mostly friends, and then Wolf, you top it off capturing that wonderful piano piece of Ren winding down doing what he loves best - making beautiful music. Well done sir. Just beautiful. Kia kaha from NZ
That was awesome. Thank you Wolf for taking the time to document it, and put it together for us. Extra kudos, of course, for somehow continuing even after the news you received during it, my condolences
Great work, Wolf. Been sick, so I'm just getting caught up. I really appreciated that yo kept it real and down to earth. I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend, I hope getting back you were able to take some time for yourself. Somehow though, you pulled it off beautifully.
That was the best BTS vid I've ever watched. Well done to you. I hope you got some enjoyment being in over here. Great video man, good luck in all you do. Peace.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching this. The 30somthing minutes version already was very nice and I appreciated it. But this one is so good, it makes me feel as if I was there, how much effort is needed to get to the end result of this masterpiece. You are doing such a great job to get across the whole mood of these days. Thank you very much. I am sorry for the devastating news you got whilst being there, and I hope you are doing OK now. Anyway I wish you nice holidays, keep up the good work you are doing please. Cheers from Berlin 👍🍀😎
I say this mainly for algo. I joined little after the live had started but had to leave soon for unplanned reason. I saw live about 10 min in the end but will certainly watch this whole video later.
Thanks for this extended version. It answered so many questions I still had after your first behind the scenes of money game 3 video. This was epic. You should be proud of what you did here. Hope you carry on the good work.
🖤🖤 I really appreciate the sentiments. I always hate everything I do, so your feedback helps balance that out. Thank you for lending it some of your time :)

Such a great film, when you watch the music video you don’t realise the work that goes into it, and how many people are involved. Love the song and I have a deeper respect for the film makers too now 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for watching!
THANK YOU😊😊😊
Marion🌟🖐
Marion it's my pleasure! Thank you so much for the kind sentiments and for sitting through this one with me ☺️🫀
Sorry for your loss Wolf
Really enjoyed this well done dude🎉
Watching from Anglesey
Thank you!
Could have happily watched for longer 😊 Thank you Wolf 💜
Wolf, this was so great! Much needed!!❤ Thank you to everyone who worked so hard on this for us to enjoy it!!❤
Second time through since this came out ❤ Just amazing to watch ❤ Great job Wolf 🐺 I am sorry about the to loss of your friend 😢❤
Thank you so much!
I don't believe it!!!! I live 10 miles from Abbotts Ripton. And the pub they went for a meal is where me and my colleagues are having our Xmas lunch!!! Good work Wolf.
Knoxs smile when talking to Ren you know he respects the hell out of him
I'm not 10min in and i can already say the filming is outstanding!
Thank you so much Wolf! I really enjoyed watching this💜🙏
I don’t usually comment on videos so I’m sorry if I sound strange.
Wolf, I'm gonna keel over with anticipation!
Thank you Wolf, that was incredible.
Heeeyyyy im still in this!! I love being able to see all the extra content man!
Thanks, Wolf. Out of chaos comes art, and this video captures the process beautifully.
Thank you, wolf for the extended cut
As a fellow Canadian very proud of you lifes🎉 not easy to navigate I
But always changes I think that why we stay alive just our curiosity I'm 74 yrs old I should know love your grandma in spirit
Watching this again. I'm so thankful for this extended video, Wolf ❤
Thank you 🖤🙏
❤ new sub!
He's like 6'3", 6'4"
Wolf, the shorter BTS you released was such an amazing treat……this, wow…it was so good to see this, the action shots that we saw but so many of the quiet moments too.
Wolf! This was wonderful! Thank you so much for putting it together and sharing it! I really enjoyed it!
It's just got this great vibe running through it,loved when you first walked onto the house and got your reflection on the mirror.I especially like 23 minutes in the atmospheric music you used and the shots / voices just were perfect.👍
As a huge REN fan, what a privilege to watch this video! Thank you so much. Amazing job.
Wow, this was epic editing. Kudos, Wolf.
❤ I'm so Happy you have shared more BTS thank you Wolf 🤗
A bit late... Sorry for your lost. Thank you for your dedication at bringning us with you on this all thing, you are champion 😍😍😍
🙏 thank you so much.
This is cool so far! Well done! I'll watch the rest later!!!!!! ✌️💙🎵
I look forward to every little detail .
I am so excited for this the 13th! ❤ Thank you Wolf!Looking forward to spending movie length time with you guys! 😊
After such an exhaustingly long process, dude needs to appreciate the opportunity of hearing a beautiful piano's sound. Remarkable.
Wow wow wow ❤
Astonishing man, great work.
Thank you for sharing the extended version! You did an excellent job on the official version, and it's great to also get a chance to see a bit more of what went into the making of MG3 in this extended cut - and a bit more of your artistry in the beginning of this cut!
Amazing coverage. Thanks so much.
Just epic. Really, really phenomenal. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
That was awesome.
Thank you
That was the best BTS vid I've ever watched. Well done to you. I hope you got some enjoyment being in over here. Great video man, good luck in all you do. Peace.
Thank you.
Thank you !! Just great job !! Awesome to see all this, thanks 😘
Loved watching this more in-depth version, you did an amazing job. Thank you for all the work you put into creating this ❤
Happy Day! Thank you so much. This was beautifully done.
I'm excited ! Can't wait ! 😊❤
@@thewolfjohnson I am like that with my particular art avenue. I waver between liking parts and what I create, and feeling the whole falls short of my expectations. (and I am a lot older than you, so sorry, I have no answers for you!)
Absolutely love this. Perfect end. Knox was glowing like the fallen star in Stardust at one point during that tour lol. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful creative energy.
Thank you so much! 🙃 I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Wow and double Wow . This was so good to watch . I had to leave midway during the livestream part so missed the running commentary . Wolf thank you a million times for putting this together in its entirety as apposed to the condensed 38 min version released earlier . We really got an in-depth submersion into those 3 days on set . I can’t imagine how difficult that was for you to cont filming after getting that dreadful news . My respect for Ren and the friends he has around him has grown even more.
This was truly an amazing look at just how much is involved in making a masterpiece. Thank you so much Wolf, I think you captured it all so well. I didn’t find any of it difficult to view.
So sorry to hear about your friend 🙏
You did a fantastic job 🫶🫶 much love and respect
Thank you for putting this together and sharing it!!!!!
Can't wait🥰
Thanks for all the work you put in to making BTS. Great job!
Sweeeeet!
