All 3 asian teams that reached top 3 in an international tournament were pretty iconic tbf. Zeta's fairytale run, prx first ever and only asian finalist til date, drx breaking the curse, not mention both games against flx especially were very hype
Reykjavik had the near Cinderella run
Copenhagen had the APAC scene placed on the map
Champions had DRX breaking their curse :') they all still didn't win but they won our hearts

Okay but if we're talking about underdog runs, we are definitely missing Zeta's unexpected lower bracket run to third place in Masters Reykjavik and Paper Rex' run to grand finals at Copenhagen with their w gaming playstyle (but to be fair, PRX were going in as favorites at that time since their team had just been on an upward slope for a while), both of which basically launched minor regions into the limelight and had people hyped for the game and rooting for them out of nowhere
I hope PRX does well in the upcoming invitationals, pushing up their form back to Copenhagen-Reykyavik
@@adlanhaziq honestly they have a pretty good advantage coming in since they haven't really changed their roster, they're a lot more comfortable coming in to this than other teams. I'm just hoping that they'll be able to go beyond their previous peaks and stay consistent with their confidence

I clicked on this video with pretty low expectations because those kind of top lists are mostly trash… But I have to admit, ALL of these moments flashed into my memory like: yeah that truly was so crazy! I remember all of them and you brought them back and I have to thank you for that. The chronicle ace vs KRÜ was one of the best moments in Valorant esports for me. Although the FPX XSET scandal was just confusing and weird, not a great moment.
That was my aim for this video, I'm so glad you enjoyed! I was debating whether or not to put the Turret situation in there, but decided to because of the incredible clutch by Zekken. Chronicle's ace was 🤌

Kinda ironic that 100t got 13-0d by guard on ascent but then 13-2d them 2 months later on the same map with their new roster

Loud x Optic Ascent and Breeze in the Champions grand Finals are always going to be the most memorable maps for me, specially Sacys and Aspas performances on the respective maps I've said, it was so thrilling as a loud fan

I think including 100Ts incredible comeback against Acend is probably one of the most iconic moments in valorant, especially that nitro kill onto Cned
The nats and chronicle hold against acend in breeze was insane. Nats was crazy that whole map
M3c VS fnatic 21:23 on split from challengers 1 this year was a treat to watch.
Yeah this match will stay in my memory for a long time! Sad though that it wasn’t on a international tournament…

I love this list btw, other videos that talk about iconic moments show a lot of fluff from famous streamers and pros, but this is really the most iconic moments
ZETA has one of the best underdog story imo. Literally everyone on every single social media platform I've seen clowned them and predicted that they'll go home early. They finished 3rd overall on Reykjavik which is a big achievement for them and Japan's FPS esport scene.

KRU vs GAMBIT at champions 2021 is the greatest valorant match I have ever seen
Loved the video. I'm greatful that you included KRU 2021 champions run as it was trully an iconic moment for esports in latam as no one ever had went so far in a big esports mayor tournament (until Loud champions 2022). The KRU run was even in the news here in Chile.

I kinda miss the Gambit/M3C v Fanatic match at the VCT challengers 1 2022 which was one of the best and most watched matches since with an overtime of 24:26 I guess but it was higher than the drx fpx match

Also a suggestion, try to talk a little bit slower than this, I think it would make it easier for the viewers to be able to absorb the meaning of what you're saying. Especially it would help to highlight those little jokes you make, 4:06 like this for example, it was funny but it could easily go unnoticed.

Even if loud won the championship, DRX blew everyone's mind
i mean, loud was more of the underdog there, optic was expected to win 60% at least

A few amazing moments that come to mind too:
- FNC vs M3C, Split, round 32 I think, 0.03 spike explosion
- Cauazin Ninja defuse
- The Nats Ult on Bind vs. Envy
- (This isn't on the server but still) Onur sending Zombs a message after they eliminate Sentinels
And a very specific personal favorite: Chronicle and Sheydos retaking A on Icebox with a Deagle and an OP, a 4x2 against Liquid to close the map.
great video! i think another iconic moment goes as far back as Iceland 2021, V1 vs TL. V1 going in as massive underdogs AND with a sub and losing their map pick to win the second and on Haven at a pivotal moment... vanity 180s soulcas and you can tell that boomed TL. also Pansy's commentary - DELETE THE GAME. that moment made me start watching pro valorant
edit: i also think vanity was one of the first pros to implement astra and V1 pioneered post plant lineup meta
the stax clutch and mouse kiss was iconic that after the match, when he tweeted what mouse he was using the sales of the mouse suddenly went up right after he tweeted hahahaha

Chronicle's saving ace definitely deserves a spot and not just an honorable mention. The casting there was insane as well as how important that clutch was for Gambit as they were gonna be broke the next round with 9-12 and might end with KRU facing ACEND in the grand finals.

Also can you do a video on players who improved the most during last VCT and not so well known players bio to watch for for next VCT? Like players from Asian scene, underrated NA players. Something like that
You missed out on Fnatic vs M3C's Split which happened in March 2022. This game, which had a spot at Champions on the line, went for an astounding 1:42:14 and 44 rounds, ended with FNC taking the game and the spot at champions with a scoreline of 23-21. IMO it was easily the best Valorant played in VCT EMEA for the year. I do think that DRX vs FPX's Ascent takes a deserving first place on this list though.
I remember watching that game, it truly was incredible - especially the 0.02 second defuse. I didn't put it in here because I didn't know if it was as 'iconic' as some of the other moments, but I might make a video on it separately because it was just so good. Hope you enjoyed the video!!
