well that's true but, I still prefer if you losing then you should play defensively instead, being "aggresive and making a comeback" is good and all, but you also have to remember not everyone are like pro players who can outplayed their enemies by pure skill and knowledge alone. Sometimes when you lose, you really are losing, level and gold, and the best decision you can make is to play defensively and wait for the oportunities with your team, being aggresive and keep bashing your head toward the enemy towers will not help you win, you just gonna make everything worse for you and your team.
I think another big part of his success is his personality, he has always been very humble and very entertaining and this along side with his playstyle legit made him the biggest League content creater to date and every League player knows his Sion

If your method, however weird or crazy it might be (Inting Sion, Pacifist Tryndamere, etc.) destroys the enemy nexus, you are playing the game correctly, even if the method isn't standard. The only real negative impact is the effect it has on your team mates game play.
For me the main reason is it works for him and not the average low elo player, is because he has a higher chance of a cashing in on those bounties he builds up. When a lower skill player falls behind it is basically game over, but Baus CONSISTENTLY outplays his opponent once or twice to cash in on the bounty system.
It's not even about outplaying it's literally about understanding wave times and making sure your opponent with a lead is stuck in lane with a higher vold advantage, there's such thing as getting bad kills in top lane, like if you kill someone but the wave is crashed under your turret and your 1 hp your kinda fucked cuz your gonna lose more than your opponent xp wise Sotheby's stats from a level outweighs the gold value of a kill
This would work even more on Wild Rift considering the matchmaking is based on KDA, so he'll get better teammates that will profit from all the pressure he's making

It isn't *that* difficult, just think in terms of map pressure over everything else and you'll get the playstyle. Usually means you've gotta play something that can gobble up the map, and punish opponents for ganking you (waste their time, waste their hp/mana/resources etc).
Many champions work this way though? Brand is a great example who loves trading his own life in favor of doing a lot of damage due to how awkward his range is. Now that his ult also bounces to himself, to flash in with R just to get a bunch of bounces off even if it means you suicide can totally be worth it because of how much damage he can put out even when extremely behind. Brand alongside Karthus are are capable of dealing extremely high damage to the entire enemy team in a short period of time. Cassio can arguably do higher and more consistent damage because her damage isn't limited to cooldowns or her ult, but she can't do it as AOE. If you're not consistently dying a lot on Brand you legitimately play him incorrectly, and the same is true for Karthus.
Stumbling upon this video a couple months later, just when Baus has generated yet another change in League, this time a complete rework to the bounty system. Impressive
I think a lot of players forget how you win the game so they get upset that a solo lancer playing sion does this which is literally what he is supposed to do to do. The added pressure of him pushing keeps the other team from taking objectives since they are so worried about you taking inhib. Everyone so busy trying to get kills and forget the only way u win is by taking towers
I have mad respect for the guy. His approach is smart and analytical; he's actually thinking about how to exploit the mechanics of the game while your average player is stuck on a basic "kill good, death bad" mentality. Most of the hate I've seen him get comes from people who are unable to look past simple K/D gaming (not even going to put the A there, cause, let's be real, none of these people even look at assists) and assume that high deaths = bad play and that he must be getting carried or is putting his team at a disadvantage. Besides, I personally think divergent playstyle like this make the game more interesting. It's just a shame that Riot doesn't agree, since any aberrant strategies that go against the "right" way to play the game always end up getting nerfed.
Crazy that Blizzard had a similar issue in Overwatch. Except Blizzard took the lazy way out. BastionMain managed to get top 5 DPS by playing completely differently than any of the best players at the time knews how to defend against. Seemingly throwing every round, except for his massive WinRate (Obviously, getting Top5). Instead of Balancing Bastion... They just banned him because he upset the way the game was "suppose" to be played. With Dive, or Shield, or Meta of the Year. At least Riot tries things sometimes.
i really like him and his playstyle. in fact most really successful onetricks (bausffs has a pool, but his sion is undeniably number1) showcase some great niche strategies and thinking outside the box. bausffs with his "inting", pinkward with his baiting shaco or other mains with just an extraordinary degree of skill and understanding
Baus didn’t invent inting sion it existed since before plates where people would just run into the tower and hit it. His play style was different because he wasn’t just running into towers on cooldown and it ended up coopting the name
He is literally the definition of " there is a fine line between crazy and genius " . He is taking advantage of every aspect of the game that makes it unique like the gold system
Baus has insane knowledge about the game. You have to think in gold efficiency. Gaining gold without getting a bounty to give it back to the enemies. On top of that focusing on Macro (objectives).
The majority of people don't understand that LoL is an economy/exp game and not a "kills" game. He's not inting cause that means "intentionally feeding the enemy", he's literally feeding himself, just not with kills and he tries not to die but with that playstyle you will die more often (and it's still worth it). The problem gets bigger when these people that don't understand it will try his strategy but, since they don't understand why and how it's good they will feed and lose.
really happy i found this channel, now i can finally understand what my friends who have been playing since 2015 are referencing half the time lmao these vids are so interesting
this is gonna sound unhinged but does anyone here remember a casting call when aphelios first came out where LS shouted "how many years" after a blue gun aph ult?
It's just the fundamentals and math of league laning phase, brought to absolute maximum. Knowing death timers, how long waves take to reach your tower. Putting the enemy into a position where they have two bad choices. Realizing that dying is not losing, it's just a trade. You can trade your 300 gold to the enemy, while taking 2 waves, over half of their HP, causing them to lose a wave, and then having tempo advantage when coming back to lane. Which enables you to take a plate or two, and deny one more wave from the enemy by crashing it into the tower. That way, you gained hundreds more gold, the enemy is closer to having a shut down bounty on them, and you get to lane stronger than they do.
13:53 Fun fact, getting an Honor in Korea is calling you an inter, Koreans use the Honor system to let that player's next teammates that "This guy ran it down"
Inting sion works in low elo because sion is at least hitting towers while other players are lost in the river, countering own jungle, smiting cannon minions
Thebausffs is the one who made me go from bronce to gold without even playing more than 10 games in a week, if i take it seriusly i would be near to diamond in a year
Very good viedo, however I wanted to ask. Will you ever do more guides? I really enjoyed the jungle guides and watched them the most out of your channel, they were very helpfull.
He's without a doubt a genius when it comes to the game. He innovated an entire playstyle himself, and he just sees the game differently from everyone else. WITH THAT SAID, he's also kind of a sell out. I say this as a huge thebausffs fan. He's definitely changed the way he plays for money. He will have hidden off-stream accounts where he can hit challenger no problem. But on stream he soft-ints in low master. It's because it's just way better content, he doesn't have to sit in queue for 20 minutes, he doesn't have to tryhard every game, and he gets to do ridiculous builds like AP Irelia. He absolutely trolls and ints on stream. There's literally no reason he has accounts 'stuck' in Master other than it's just what he uses for content when he's not trying. If he actually went tryhard 24/7, it would be way less entertaining and his viewership would be much worse. Unfortunately people don't want to watch streamers just wait in queue all day. He's still one of my favorite streamers, he's gotta be the least toxic high elo player in the world. He's just kind of unwatchable when he's not trying.
Its done, his hole playstyle is patched now. Crazy how literly one person could force the devs to patch ower and ower his style to a point. For those who dont know. Shutdown calculation is now from summed up gold income not from some specific.
Baus is an amazing player that knows the game so well that he has created a strategy for his playstyle and brain that works for him, even going to a certain point that you could say that he abuses certain mechanics to absolutely win and stomp games. He's a great inspiration.
Do a Yasuo video and perhaps on Pz Zang. We Yas mains gotta know what he does or how he carries in solo queue on a pick with so many conditions and mostly team reliant.
Like him or hate him. They have to target nerf any champ he uses for abusing this strat. And most games he ends with a large gold lead while being 5/15
Simon is so good at this playstyle that after his trip to Korea, pros started to try to do the same strategy causing sion to get repeatedly nerfed until Simon started to say Sion is a shit champion
Really the only people that complain about him are people who can't reach high elo. People flame nonstop in his masters games but in chall most if not all see and respect his playstyle
I congratulate his imagination and ability to take something that seems fundamentally wrong and turn it on its head. That being said, I hate how it was ruining my plat games when this was still popular.
Seeing comments about other champs reminds me of the top play only Hymerdinger, Singed, Ad Malz, AP sion and other weird builds from years back. These tower pressure tactics have always been around.
I have always found it interesting how a player most known for playing a tank champion basically only plays Assasins: Quinn, Lethality Sion, Ap Gragas, Ap Irelia, Lethality Lee Sin, Lethality Sett... Basically the only exception to that is Rammus, but i would bet he plays Rammus because rammus can assasinate every attackspeed ADC.
He plays Rammus because Rammus is very good at proxying. It's the same reason he plays Quinn. What these champions have in common isn't high burst damage potential but tempo control because of how quickly they can be active on the map.
Riot did the same thing to my Tankmo build when they removed Malady. Riot MsPudding saw my forum post about it and started using it in her livestreams. After her coworkers saw it, my core item malady was removed the next patch. Tankmo has never been the same ever since. I was the first one to innovate and make a competitively viable Tankmo build. I have a video or 2 of it on my UA-cam channel. But once Riot saw it, immediately removed from the game, just like with inting Sion. Riot enforces their meta and hates it when people innovate in a way that they perceive as “anti-fun”.
Basically it boils down to, Baus understands that League is an objective-based game, not a Team Death Match like 99% of players think it is. The enemy can get 1,000 kills to my 0. I still win if I take their nexus. Unfortunately, League's ban system still thinks it's a Team Death Match.
Interesting how out of millions of players, no one had gotten to the same understanding of the game as him. Reminds me of how with Valeera’s release in HOTS, I had an over 90% winrate with her, while she had the lowest winrate among other players. Love the dude’s character as well :) Hope he keeps smashing
He found the glitch That playstyle works more for ppl that know more high level strategies The bad part is that it takes his teammates hostage, if they don't play around his style The worst part is inters under master inzing even more and trying to replicate him
another thing about his skill is his movement is extremely good, he side step and kite everything, that is one of the stuff that normal player are unable to mimic
I can respect the skill and work he put into perfecting his style, as well as his success with it. I do not respect Riot for keeping it in the game for as long as they did.

The problem gets bigger when these people that don't understand it will try his strategy but, since they don't understand why and how it's good they will feed and lose.
bros so good he got his own law like a physicist 😂
really happy i found this channel, now i can finally understand what my friends who have been playing since 2015 are referencing half the time lmao these vids are so interesting
13:37 He bodies them, with gragas ofc. Perfect timing!!
Keep in mind baus was so good they target nerfed HIM, NOT THE CHAMP PER SE
bounty system is the reason why this works my dude
if you had same system as in dota2, this playstyle would never work at all
And now the bounty system is changed, Baus, prolly the most directly nerfed player in LOL history
this is gonna sound unhinged but does anyone here remember a casting call when aphelios first came out where LS shouted "how many years" after a blue gun aph ult?
You get my Like cause of the warning at the start. You get it. Thank you for that. For real.
trying to save everyone's LP lol
online culture moves so fast now that bausffs is some past figure that needs a history lesson
You should have mentioned his Ap Irelia. That was truely something.
Hey man I just binged liked 4 of your videos, great content!!
4:26 is hilarious lol
I think he tries baiting out the Q the first 2 stutter steps, but yeah, wild spacing
Shutdown calculation is now from summed up gold income not from some specific.
the bausff made me get from gold 5 to gold 1 in 1 season and finding this super champ to play in diferent scenarios.
He: challenger in 23 days. Me: challenger in 23 lives.
The Baus reaching challenger in Korea is like when Johnny English was crowned King of England.
We Yas mains gotta know what he does or how he carries in solo queue on a pick with so many conditions and mostly team reliant.
well firstly
don't feed
Like him or hate him. They have to target nerf any champ he uses for abusing this strat. And most games he ends with a large gold lead while being 5/15
the real "inting sion" build is from 2019 when zz rod was still in the game. vid reference: ua-cam.com/video/ETFHXeIZDNE/v-deo.html
Thebauss is def one of the most knowledgeable players
I have always found it interesting how a player most known for playing a tank champion basically only plays Assasins: Quinn, Lethality Sion, Ap Gragas, Ap Irelia, Lethality Lee Sin, Lethality Sett...
Basically the only exception to that is Rammus, but i would bet he plays Rammus because rammus can assasinate every attackspeed ADC.
dont forget abt ap jax
He plays Rammus because Rammus is very good at proxying. It's the same reason he plays Quinn. What these champions have in common isn't high burst damage potential but tempo control because of how quickly they can be active on the map.
I put respect to baus the moment he singlehandedly manage to nerf sion by hitting challenger in the korean server
Now they change the bounty system, truly only a menace could change the fundamental of the game to be nerfed
"You may question my methods, but don't question my results" - Daffy Duck
the go 0/16 at your own discretion had me dying
I always thought that was tilterella that populaize the inting sion and the lethality
Gets objectives and gold, i guess he just does what the TUTORIAL says!
He is having so much fun :DDD
tears of joy for this man.
I mean this man is unreal intelligent, and understand the game in different way like is behond imagination.
I mean too he really love the game too
issue at 21:45 is most people aren't good enough to make plays from behind that result in anything but a death
What a great video. I’m very impressed. Good job
Honestly baus is the most revolutionary player since insec
**Bausen's Law** - Controlling waves - Applying pressure - Trade life for advantage. Operation C.A.T. Meow
I love Baus, it brings me back to before there was a meta
He found the glitch
That playstyle works more for ppl that know more high level strategies
The bad part is that it takes his teammates hostage, if they don't play around his style
The worst part is inters under master inzing even more and trying to replicate him
The Messi of League of course
Is not even close to Messi
@@3735993 Right, bad comparison. Messi can't come close to Baus' level at the end of the day.
such a goated vid brotehr keep it up
thanks for the support!
Baus used to do Sion adc with bard support before doing inting sion
Bossin on the rift, thats my guy right there, big respect
another thing about his skill is his movement is extremely good, he side step and kite everything, that is one of the stuff that normal player are unable to mimic
det är nästan äckligt hur smart baus är
17:19 omg I remember that game I was there he said that line "I play smart sion and proceeds to die lvl 1"
I can respect the skill and work he put into perfecting his style, as well as his success with it.
I do not respect Riot for keeping it in the game for as long as they did.
I have a huge problem with Baus, he makes the game look actually fun and I might relapse and play again
Me, before clicking: Gotta be bauffs, right?
