    It’s such a shame that the Loud and Optic rosters split to different rosters , this rivalry was hands down one of the best in Valorant LAN history.

      @@uresfffff222 It is the biggest - LCQ winners were added to the list of teams for Champs compared to the Masters tournaments. I would argue it is also the most important in the sense that much more effort is put into the event - the game has a special bundle and a theme song for the event itself - and the trophy for winning is definitely better than the Masters ones. Heck, it's called Champions and not Masters for a reason.

    It's funny that there's a clip of Sacy watching a play from aspas at a time that everyone accused aspas of cheating (obviously he's clean) and Sacy was in VKS. Sacy said:

    Another sadder bit of trivia that I don't see being mentioned often: During Champions 2021, Saadhak's mother passed away while he was in Berlin playing for Team Vikings. After their championship win in 2022, he dedicated his win to her.

  • @madlinksaga
    @madlinksaga Рік тому +483

    A few trivia about Loud:
    - Sacy is a former League of Legends pro (even won the local championship). Saadhack came from Paladins. Pancada came from Crossfire. Aspas came from CS:GO. Valorant is Less first professional game.
    - After champions 2021, Sacy and Saadhack wanted to create a roster capable of winning champions 2022. That's where "Pancada e Amigos" (Pancada and Friends) came from. They negotiated with a lot of orgs but Loud was the only one willing to sign the whole roster.
    - Onur (Kru's coach in 2021 and Leviathan's in 2022) was supposed to be their coach. That didn't work as Onur was forbidden to enter Brazil after refusing to be vaccinated for Covid.
    - Aspas was accused of hacking back in CS:GO (there is a whole drama around that) and Sacy even probed him before entering the roster. Afterwards everyone understood that the cheating situation was all BS and he was just that good.
    - Less was Onur's recomendation.
    - They didn't expect to get that far in Reykjavik. That masters was supposed to be an opportunity to gather experience (mainly for the younger players).
    - Loud's first loss was at Reykjavik grand finals.
    - Between masters Reykjavik and the next step of vct, they barely had any time to prepare for Copenhagen. They didn't really have many strategies (most of them were well known from Reykjavik) and they were struggling with the mental pressure.
    - Loud tought they had a pretty decent Pearl at Champions but after being beaten by Optic in Group Stage they realized that the map had to become their permaban. The issue was that Haven was their permaban at that time, so they made a last minute effort to improve their Haven basing most of it on Leviathan's. Afterwards they beat both Leviathan and DRX who were known to have pretty strong (arguably the best) Havens in the tournament.
    - Loud always had bad pistol rounds. They improved that for Champions with help from fRoD (a legend from NA's CS and an old friend of BzkA, Loud's ex-coach).
    - They had the strongest Ascent in the world (by numbers) with 95% winrate.

      Also after losing the Masters, Sacy was asked by the owner of Loud, Playhard if they weren't frustrated with leaving the championship second place, so Sacy calmly replied "Hey PH, we are sad, yes, we wanted to win of course. But relax man, the project is to win the Champions"

      @caiosantana6889 Рік тому +11

      you should add that saadhaks mom passed away during a tournament when he was playing in team vikings, and he dedicated the champions win to her
      also that Sacy was told by different fonts that Pancada was a difficult player to deal with, basically he had very bad feedback, so the first conversation he had with pancada was something like "do what is told or well kick you out the team"

    I've had notifications on for the past month and every video has continued to be an absolute banger. Great job! Curious if you've had any channels before this, because great quality from the start is super impressive. Also, did you have any sort of video plan set out, or are you just coming up with ideas and making them as you go?
    Also small side note that's been bothering me: adding those tags to the description (loud sentinels tenz c9, ect) can actually get you a community guidelines strike I'm pretty sure. The way I've seen most bigger youtubers get around this is making it a slightly more logical jumble of words, so writing something along the lines of "Loud, Sentinels, and C9 all have all had some of the best moments of valorant roster franchising. Shroud, Tenz, and Zellsis have led the NA, APAC, and EMEA regions through iconic moments in the rivalry of valorant champions tour 2022."
    Just something I figured I'd mention, not really sure if it's actually a huge concern. Either way, excited to see future videos!

    I loved this video so much and checked the channel... Can I recommend a video topic? I would love a video on Gambit/M3C and the era that was meant to be. If you're someone that follows EMEA, the story of the best team in 2021 crumbling down and 4x almost getting there this year is heartbreaking. And the most amazing thing is: they shaped what VALORANT's 2022 season would be more than any team, created a strategy standard that was ahead of its time. If it weren't for the war and it's consequences (that we will never 100% know what happened, but can assume: playing without support, without salaries etc) and had their mental put together, they would've dominated this year. Like Pujan said: "Most people forgot about them, but they're still one of the hardest to play against"
    A shame they're not together anymore, but can't wait for what 2023 will bring for them!

      Reading this comment brought back the Gambit era for me - this is a great video idea and I'll definitely make it at some point. nAts is probably my favourite player in Valorant so far, so I share your nostalgia for it! Thanks so much for the idea 🙏

      @@CommendYT I will forever be a big M3C fan. Will never forget how I felt when Gambit won and how they lost Champs finals (let's be real, it was their title... Acend had no place being there). And this year, games like FNATIC vs M3C, that Split to me is the greatest map of all time, the match against Liquid on LCQ, their being 2-3 on VCT and almost qualifying on playoffs... It's a heartbreak, but a respectful one for their situation.
      One thing I didn't mention is how they shaped VALORANT sportsmanship and unity alongside amazing gameplay, in contrast to NA. If we have this peaceful Rivalry between LOUD and Optic, not too toxic and stuff, is because once the best team on the world decided to also be the kindest... Chronicle saying that Envy laughed at him picking Brim on Haven but that's the reason they won...
      I miss them so much

      That's true. Of the eight matches that kru had with Brazilian orgs (repeated or not), kru won all of them. The funny thing is that here in Brazil we usually support the latam orgs after the brazilian orgs but due to this fact, some brazilian fans started to feed an anger towards latam and mainly kru, but that should pass with the first victory.

    I didn't understand why a lot were glorifying optic until I saw them play against DRX. Experiencing this live, whilst not knowing much about their background, was something else. They kept facing each other at it was just revenge after revenge. Wished DRX made it but glad that Loud took the trophy. They definitely deserved it.
