the X-S20 is a great more affordable option. It will also have less rolling shutter in video and I enjoy the big grip. If weather sealing and more resolution on the photo side of things is what you need, the X-T5 is the only one with 40 MP and weather sealing.
I shot 4K 24p with some 60 and 120P sequences for a full day and didn’t get any overheating. I did set the temp warning to “high” though as it come on “normal” by default. Thanks!
Damn, I don't want to be a downer but to me this video proved that you really need to go on the high-end of cameras to actually get image quality advantage over phones these days. I'm currently deciding whether or not to get a camera or just get a high-end phone and in most of the reviews I've seen, the phones produce basically the same quality photos than the camera. Yeah, telephoto range looks better and I can get more blurry background with a high aperture lens but at that point, we're talking 2 to 3 times the price in order to get the quality I'd like to get considering the form factor. It might be the video quality on UA-cam as well though. It's really difficult to decide for me right now :D
I agree 100% that phones are producing very capable results these days and, more importantly, it’s the camera that’s always with you. The difference for me is more about the shooting experience, the mindset and the ability to be more creative with lens choices. In the end, the camera is just a tool and if you can get over the fact that the phone is also an Email, social media, internet, music streaming, etc. Machine, then you might be just good with shooting with it. Food for thought :-)

Great combo!
what is your choice between xs20 vs xt5 for video podcast and portrait photography?

What camera are you using to record this video? Focus seems jerky..?
This was the Sony ZV-E1 (which I was testing at that moment). I’m back on the X-H2S for the upcoming ones ;)
How is your experience shooting 4k with it? Does it easily overheats? Planning to purchase it for my A cam and all day shooting.
