    Love this vid! Good clear explanation. Myself i rather put the instructions on the position rather than only the players itself, since most of the times the opposition will not change their way of playing if players in those positions get subbed

      Positions is a good way to do it too. But just watch for different players using different feet. Thanks for watching Kev.

    Great video mate as usual! Not sure if it’s possible but maybe you can do this same type of video for different data inside the data hub/opposition reports.

      I’ll be honest, I don’t really look at anything else in the data hub. Something I’ve not really delved into. I do look at the average position maps in the game analytics though, especially when building a new tactic

    I wonder how this idea work with more defensive mentalities. Formations like 3412 in Inter usually don't press that high and has less contact with opponent CBS.

    Somebody please help me. I CAN'T FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET THE PASSING MAP FROM THE OPPOSITION. I already asked a next team report, I already look the match report from their schedule, but nothing shows me their passing map. I only get completed passes from the analytics, and they're confusing af, it's not the same category. I already got my own team passing map, and the passing map from my own matches. But I just can't get passing maps from other teams unless their match was against me. The thing is I used to be able to do this in every single save except my current save. I don't want to lose this save because I made a lot of progress already. I just want them fucking pass maps

    How does this do against very deep teams... the ones that can easily adjust to your adjustments because either wing works just fine for them? Ideas, thoughts, suggestions? I like the heat map info!

    • @TheGibShow
      @TheGibShow 2 роки тому

      I’ve not noticed anything particularly bad against deep teams. If anything I’d use it more. I’d press the whole defence to try and force a mistake.

    • @wombatv
      @wombatv 2 роки тому +1

      @@TheGibShow I was just curious because the time you concentrated on the left and they just went down the right once the left was failing, should you have adjusted to that at half time maybe, or were they just that much better than you on the day? I'm not trying to call you out or anything like that, just curious what you think looking back in hindsight. I think this is a brilliant idea and one I've yet to employ, but I just started a new save the other day and am fully planning on implementing this once the season starts.
      I know the AI does some adapting. I ran this 4-3-3 on FM17 that was just crushing it, by the halfway point of the season every team in my league was using the same formation; don't know if they were using the same tactics though, but it did get more difficult as the season went on. I wonder if it will notice this (your heat map use) going on and adapt or if will even have enough time/experience against your team to even notice until the game has started.
      Sorry for rambling, I just don't know why I haven't tried this before. It was always heatmap schmeatmap to me... no real value for the most part (I did look at mine occasionally when a problem arose) and now I will start looking at both the opponents and my own going forward. Thanks!

    • @TheGibShow
      @TheGibShow 2 роки тому +1

      @@wombatv Thanks Wombat. No, it's a very good point. You only get the heat maps at HT, rather than the pass maps. You are bang on. Maybe if I'd looked I would have switched to the right. But that could maybe have seen them get the better of me if their best players are on the left.
      I kinda choose to trust the process, increase the pressure on them sitting back and it seemed to work. Your way may have done the same. It's a very interesting thing to explore
