      Only use DM on players below 6.6. The lower the score the better the response. Above 6.8 players ignore or get annoyed/ disinterested.

    - Encourage (draw until 25 min)
    - Calm Down (scoring first goal)
    - Demand More (loss by one goal)
    - Praise (win by two goals)
    - Berate (loss by two goals)

      I praise after first goal cos calm down can give negative impact. No pressure when you’re a small club vs a big club is good too.

    • @daviebananas1735
      @daviebananas1735 2 роки тому +8

      Calm down is not worth using. It has negative effect on some or most in at least 75% of occasions for me.
      The only shouts you need are the 4:-
      Encourage - at any time when you are drawing but creating chances still. Perhaps better to use the below though later in the second half.
      Demand more - when you are drawing and not playing particularly well, or when you are 1 goal down against a team who are MUCH better than you. Can also be good if you are winning narrowly, but not playing well. Should not be used unless really necessary in the first quarter of the game.
      Berate - As soon as you go a goal down against any team who is not vastly superior to you. If you go down by more than one goal. Can be used repeatedly if a goal down against a similar or weaker team.
      Praise - A pretty useless shout overall, but can be good to remove complacency for a short bit when winning by a large score line.
      Only 2 shouts per half, unless needing to score in last ten minutes, then berate/demand more for a final push.
      I use these every game and usually get all players either motivated or inspired/motivated. Worst case 50-75% will be motivated.
      Don’t shout until 13-15 minutes after kick off in either half as your team talk shout have the players suitably motivated in these periods, unless the game goes very badly in these opening periods of each half.
      When in the lead I would avoid all shouts altogether, unless you are under heavy pressure against a team you should beat, or the aforementioned late shout of praise to ward off complacency.

    • @Leyodemus
      @Leyodemus 2 роки тому +4

      Hi Mark, and thanks! Depending on the opponent: IF they have completely dominated the game despite only being 1-0 up, OR your team is by far the underdog... "praise"? If it's against a much weaker opponent, "demand more"? If you have scored that 1-0 in the 80th minute: "focus"? (might drop morale, but that's okay) As you can tell, it depends on other factors, not just the scoreline. 🙂

  • @lokicats
    @lokicats 2 роки тому +1

    What disappoints me the most is the delay in the shout being given well after I have given the command for the shout. And, I watch the games in full, not on highlights. But, it is normal that the shout is actually made when the play next stops which is often long after I have given the shout command.

If I'm the stronger team, I'd spam Demand more and it also works well. Only those 2 and praise, and it looks like we don't need anything else

    Hey, thanks for this explanation. I still struggle with the timing of these though, because even with pausing the match, the shout will often be executed up to 10 minutes after I click it. I use the shouts very sparingly just because I'd end up cancelling most of them. Like when the player I wanted to berate makes a goal saving tackle 10 minutes later while the shout is still pending for some reason. Shouts would be much more realistic of they were carried out instantly, like IRL

    • @Leyodemus
      @Leyodemus 2 роки тому +1

      Hey Bas! Hmmm, it shouldn't take THAT long though, because otherwise I would have the exact same problem as you have, trust me 🙂It should take the exact same time as doing any other tactical change or even a substitution (because the game sees it as a "tactical change" in the background, that's why you can cancel it there as well). I bet/hope you don't have to wait for 10 minutes for those to actually happen as well, right? Let me know!

    Also, Older players (24 on up) take shouts far less personally. Professional players also tend to react better to shouts.
    You can scream at a player like Harry Kane all day long and if he has a modicum of respect for you he will do his absolute best to do what you are asking from him. If they are a good team leader it wont be an issue.

    • @Leyodemus
      @Leyodemus 2 роки тому +2

      Hi! I would not consider a "fire up" for underperformance, I would always choose "berate" here. In my opinion, "Fire up" is more to get your players more hyped if you need an equaliser at the end of a crazy game or something like that. You can just try it of course, and see the results. For "Fire up" I could really see many different results, depending on the player's character. Let me know how your players reacted! 🙂

      Hi! Hmmm, kinda hard to tell from here Sharizan. Remember: shouts are contextual to what happens on the pitch at any given time, so it also depends on WHY he got anxious or nervous... BUT I would never use "No Pressure", except for the situation I describe in the video. "Calm down" is more for trying to avoid bookings. Hope this somewhat helps?

    1. You must be drawing.
    2. You must NOT be being comprehensively outplayed.

      Wow! You must be so proud of yourself for taking the time to criticise someone else’s work that another person may find helpful. If you didn’t gain anything why do you feel the need to impart your opinion on the world? Genuine question btw. What do feel people will gain from knowing you don’t need/haven’t gained anything from this?
