This is badass. A new Genesis game coming in 2024, and it's not by some indie company or a fan project, it's by an actual company that's worked on real classics like the Story of Thor (Oasis) series! (speaking of which, they desperately need to make Story of Thor 3!
Antient are not owned by a large publisher and run independently, making them an indie studio.

I loved Yuzo since playing revenge of shinobi back in 1990, this makes ZPF look like an ipad game by comparison. Yuzo obviously knows its all about the arcade at home experience with the megadrive.
It’s like Flashback. A CD in a cartridge.
So stoked to buy this game!

C'est magnifique, Yuzo Koshiro en plus d'être un génie de la VGM est maintenant un Génie créateur de jeux, et en plus ce Jeux a l'air tellement magnifique 😭❤ ça me rappel ce chef d'oeuvre qu'était ARROW FLASH, les couleurs, mélangé a un gameplay Super EDF et R-Type et même Gradius, c'est génial, j'ai hâte d'y jouer maintenant je suis trop hypé ! :D

One suggestion : maybe put a small visual hint before the "fire pillars" attack of the first boss.

The fire pillars appear where the mines that the boss shoot out land in the lava.

That’d be Yuzo himself, and he’s using a vintage CRT, the best way to display retro games, not those HD flatscreen TVs that make certain hardware artifacts or effects look wrong
If the SEGA wishes in 1990s develop same exact "System 16" in Mega Drive hardware specs instead Sega CD/Sega 32X. Maybe very difficult and temptous a Super NES could be greatest that 16-bit generation!
