Love the knits you are both wearing. I agree with you, Kim, that new knitters know way more than many of us who have been knitting forever. Most of my knitting years I was a lone knitter, no blogs, no u-tube, no knit group, limited resources, so not many how to books- now I seem to be learning something new from rookie knitters every day. I discovered life lines when knitting a lace shawl for my daughter for her wedding about 7 years ago- how did I go 45 years before I found this amazing tip? Intarsia drives me crazy, so cud’s to you Kim for knitting that beautiful, but challenging sweater. Jonna your grandkids are adorable and so sweet to get a call every day. Thanks for another great episode, lots of inspiration!

Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for watching and for such thoughtful comments. I personally learn so much from Jonna every day! And I've been knitting so much longer than she has. And guess what? I finished my Amina!!! E16 airs on 3/3 and you'll hear all about it. :) Kim

Y'all are so fun to listen to! It's like sitting in with a great knit group. I use it as spinning time but dream of all the knitting I'm inspired to do! Kim, I'm a project knitter like you. Towards the end of the project I just want to get done because I want the thing I'm knitting. I only allow myself 2 WIPs; my main project and socks (I always have socks on my needles for car knitting). Kim, you have also inspired me to pair my stash yarn with projects I want to knit. Once I did that I was scared at how many projects I have! 😲 Jonna, you inspire me by your fearless knitting. You seem to jump into projects for the opportunity to learn something new or try a new yarn. 🤗 I so enjoy your videos! Many thanks for putting them out there!💟

Tynd/Sno is absolutely lovely and wonderful to knit with but at certain gauges, it does pill horribly on 2 garments I've knit at ~ a 24 stich/4" gauge. It seems to be holding up a little better in cardigan that I knit at a 28 - 30 stitches/4" gauge, and I think it'll be much better in a hat and super soft and cozy :)

hi guys! Loved every minute of your vlogmas so vlog away! With Christmas done and my baby set sent and received, I'm working on finishing my wips for 2022. 2 oversized cardi's(what was I thinking? lol) left. I have 2 sweaters ready to go, both Andrea Mowry patterns. Love when she plies her yarn and shows us what she is doing. I have learned so much watching her friday q and a vlog. Sheep - I found out virgin wool is the very first shearing the sheep gets. I had no idea. So now I am hooked on watching the sheep videos and learning about sheep. So many. And sheep that shed their wool??? yeah it's a thing but evidently mostly bred out of the sheep here. Who knew that was a thing? And the musselburgh hat. I've seen so many people making them. I'm tempted to get the hat pattern. Knittyknatty Natalie has made a ton of them and done lots of modifications. But I had no clue about being able to use other weights of yarn. I am also tempted to get the monster cable pattern. It looks so scrumptious. And the colors Kim chose. I live vicariously through you since I have no local yarn shop and no one to knit with. Good thing I like my own company...

I can’t knit with WoolFolk Yarns . I don’t know why this happens with me and certain yarns I’m assuming it’s vintages? Honestly no clue why some yarns smell when you knit with them. Its so intense that it burns my throat, nose, and eyes. Its very bizarre. I had to return the yarn I didn’t cake up. I always only cake one hanks at a time because I have run into this before . Its VERY rare. Its unfortunate because I honestly love how it knits up, its lovely, so very soft, squishy and light. If anyone knows why that happens or has a similar problem with some yarns, if you know what that is I’d appreciate knowing. Thanks so much.
I never know until I knit with it, its very disappointing. I love the fabric I got with my swatch. I could only knit maybe 6 rows on a at 6 inche wide swatch it was too uncomfortable my throat, nose and eyes were.

Jonna, I have a glutton-gut dog that eats any thing he can get his mouth around. I keep an unopened bottle of hydrogen peroxide in my cupboard. If he eats anything he shouldn't, I take a turkey baster full of HP and make him drink it, allowing him to swallow every few seconds. Within seconds, he is retching up the offending object or substance. That has saved me several urgent care vet visits.
