This Raid was almost a disaster. 60 Mechanoids hammer my base from afar. Proper base fortification is a necessity in order to survive events like this.
Always go AP ammo in CE, will save you from painful fights like this. Pick weapons with higher AP value ammo (ammo with higher armor piercing numbers) to deal with mechanoids. Same for the turrets as well with depleted uranium ammo if I can, puts mechs down much faster. The ammo cost is significantly higher but if you get the first shots off you can easily win disadvantaged battles.
From my old CE playtroughs the only time you want to even think of using HP is for those tribel raids and maybe hunting(tough i tended to put my guys up with bows and arrows for this) thats it.
I love these videos for some reason lol. I’d love to see some medieval combat extended or some combat extended modern raids where you’re leading a raid. Setting up Mortars and smoking the enemy’s like of site out. Then a bunch of hero’s blast through with gas mask on or something lol I do love these videos though

Yeah I've noticed that on MANY occasions. It's a vanilla feature and I'm not entirely sure what it actually means because the mechanoids continued to be "stunned".
@@JoshMo1993After getting EMP stunned they have a chance to shrug off the next ones when they adapt. It doesn't remove the current stun but it does make the next few not go through.

I think that is a vanilla feature. You can activate it by clicking one of the icons at the lower right hand corner of the screen.
