  • Things escalated really fast after the nociosphere triggered an obelisk activation. The result is utter havoc and a blood bath.

    You know the situation is dire when the orb literally built to annihilate all life around it is experiencing genuine struggle. If it were my, I would have taken that as a sign to try and support it with my colonists at range while it takes all the heat.
    Poor Teddy having to be resurrected repeatedly, but that clutch with Faz's coagulate at the last possible second to save Zachary made it all worth it. Zach better have max opinion of Faz since he saved his fucking life.

      I've had a Nociosphere die to 20 Chimera and hod multiple kill themselves on apocriton retinues. The Sphere has, like several thousand hitpoints per body part, but Rimworld has a lethal damage threshold.

      nociospheres are better against humans then anything else and they generally struggle with mass

      That's why I LOVE the mod "No More Lethal Damage Threshold". No more of my cataphract armored tanks dying to a thousand squirrel scratches.
      If it doesn't work on 1.5, then I REFUSE to play until it's updated.
      Thank God for Mlie and all other Chads that update old or abandoned mods.

      Oh man, SUBBED. Look on the bright side, you got some content out of this, an exciting raid to fight, your defenses stress tested to their limits, and maybe a lot of twisted meat (if you have enough time to butcher these a-holes).
      Plus some shards, once you enter the pit gate and slay the dreadmeld.

    Wow that was intense, I normally never let the obelisk stand after finishing study, learned my lesson when unexpected thing trigger it, stray bullet/mortar/whatever.
    I normally very cautious when triggering the obelisk I packed my animal on caravan to avoid unexpected backstab just in case, they just chill one tile away from base while it's battling the obelisk.

      Woooow. Look at all those enemies. That's MAGNIFICENT. That's nearly as bad as a bug hive from Improved Infestations mod, in terms of initial numbers and lethality.
      Simply magnificent. Now, if my other 1.4 mods don't screw up my save (might have to remove the Bone mod T_T), I'm about to have a roaring good time.

    I saw that constant flow of bulbfreaks and was like "sheet that's a lot of bioferrite extraction cells! Solder, where is your shock lance?!"😂

      They sure are a good source of bioferrite but at this point in my playthrough i have more then i can stockpile and the bulbfreaks also frequently break out and die. They are really messy

      @@BladjomirGaming you can use tox-mines to down them if they try to escape. I had 8 bulbs in my colony captured in full bioferrite cells and they tried to escape only 3 times in 4 years, didn't lost one due to escaping

      @@BladjomirGaming most of the creatures in anomaly don't have tox-immunity. Also they don't interact with any gas or pollution tiles while they're captured. So my setup for holding cells is dump bunch of trash bags onto the tiles, forget about them for a while, build holding cell for 4 creatures from bioferrite and place a mine inside holding cell so if something want to destroy door it will drop from toxins

      yeah i like the fleshwhips but don't clone too many of your pawns unless you want them all in coma some random day

    I love the chaos that happens on massive colonies like this. The downside is the game always slows down to a crawl for me by the time I reach about 7 years in though. Do you mind sharing your modlist? I notice you have a colony group for mechanoids, I would absolutely love something like that.

    I gotta highly recommend AOBA’s industrial fortifications mod. It adds many ways of dealing with the damned, such as concrete, 4 Maxim machine guns bolted together, anti-air guns, howitzers, and my personal favorite coastal artillery

    Get deadlife shells for the toughspikes, you only need to kill 33% of the enemies to win the fight since thosr 33% will come back and fight for you

    To me that is the biggest anomaly about this video ^^

    una pregunta cual es la mejor forma de enfrentarse a los devoradores, lo he intentado y devoran a mis colonos de un solo bocado además son muy rápidos y acortan la distancia entre ellos y mis colonos sin darles mucho tiempo a disparar

      Los devoradores son peligrosos pero nada que un poco de fuego no pueda solucionar, cuando los devoradores se queman automáticamente expulsan la colono o mecanoide, actualmente los incineradores son una de las mejores armas y a su vez de las más divertidas

      it is arround 160 TPS when everything is cleaned up. That's with a ton of peformance mods tho
