No, the facilities each position has is for the comfort of the colonists especially for drawn out fights when they are stranded. They have places to sit, sleep, eat, relieve themselves, reload. Colonists reside in the base

Game starts at 5500, I played it for 35 years. Thank you for the compliment about my base, I am adamant on having a perfect design

just skip ahead, Im not a youtuber, I just share the stuff I do. And some people might want to see how I prepare the colony to the fight coming ahead
