Don't know why so many people dislike the design. I think it's very cool. A clear successor to the F1. And that sound!

@@affilinet Yes, I think it is a very understated, elegant design (except for that big fan vent at the back!), not covered with space thrusters and machine gun ports like a Lambo!
The F1 has better design overall, but this is not bad too.

People saying it looks dated have no taste what so ever. They’ve become custom to seeing super cars with pointless vents and aero that do absolutely nothing. Everything on this car has a purpose and she’s beautiful.

Dated is definitely not what this car is. It is literally the purpose built successor to the McLaren F1 which is arguably the most important supercar ever built (and best looking). People who aren't on the GMA wagon don't understand anything past the surface of automotive perfection.

Said supercars are absolutely beautiful and are insane performance wise, this overrated thing is just ugly, u can’t compare that to the beautiful design of an aventador for example, just look at that rear, your delusional and biased if you think it looks half as good as a supercar

I was there at Goodwood and saw it in the flesh. UA-cam reviews are not like seeing it live . Touched it, smelt it, felt it. saw it live, it sounded very average. A novitec f12 or 812 Ferrari makes it sound tame
@@latbeast well there goes your argument. Novitec does not follow emission regulations while stock cars are obligated to. Wait till someone puts an aftermarket exhaust on the T50 then make your comparison.
@@riptiide9285 of course they do, it passes mot without an issue! They have flap regulation so it can switch from quiet to valves open in an instant. MOTs are no issue whatever

NA V12 sounds awesome. Look has grown on me and it shows that splitters and wings are really needed if everything is designed correctly. Mind you I love the shape of the MP-4 12C. Must be an age thing.

I like the design of the T.50 alot, contrary to most people here. To me I think it looks sufficiently modern, like a modernised McLaren F1 (which is kind of half of what the T.50 is). It's clean, pretty, and have no pointless vents or hard edges scattered all over, or super aggressive looks dominating it. Just pure distilled flowing design powered with a high revving naturally aspirated V12 that sounds pretty smooth and uninterrupted (for a V12). Course, its party trick of having a fan in the back breaks the clean design a little, but hey, why not some more function over the form a little. Surprisingly practical too apparently so could actually see this be a semi-daily driver... If I can afford it! (Which I can't)

The porsche is 20yrs old and still looks as good as the day it came out, and a better looking car than the T50 any day of the week.

@@jay0ne156umm, you may want to have a look at Gordon Murray’s design philosophy. Basically if he’s building a road car it *will* be practical. For t.50 that means 3 seats, over 200l of luggage space, decent in-cabin storage space and, somehow, halfway decent fuel economy. And 670ish bhp in a car weighing under 1,000kg….

Plenty of cars there which made it look and sound average to be fair. Can’t really say that it stood out from the crowd. Dated design, some may argue it’s designed to be understated, but I don’t buy that one, that’s like saying , I only allow my beautiful women out in public if she puts shitty clothes on and covers her face up so no other guy chases her. @latbeast Understated/simple design is Gordon Murray's design philosophy for road cars. If you watched his interviews on YT you would hear him more or less say that. You not buying that is irrelevant. His 'Dated design' has sold out. Customers are buying into his philosophy and that's what ultimately matters to GMA.
