I got new filters but how am I suppose to install it? How do you take off the metal grill from the nozzles? Whats the step by step process to put on the new filters?
@@SpacedOutDoonie friend take needle and pop off the stock grill. Take filter you want to install and place it on the noozle using some tweasers. Be gentle with the filters so as to avoid creasing them. It's that simple!
@@akros9333 Ok thanks. Ima try that, but I dont wanna risk ruining the IEM if I take off that metal grill. Do you put the metal grill back on over the new filter or no?
@@akros9333 So I tried it with one of the filters I bought ("20pcs DIY Earphones Tuning Paper Damping Front Shell Filter Mesh Increase Low Frequency" 4.5mm 450 mesh from AE) but it was like the exact same filter as the stock filter except it was a bit smaller and didnt fit well. Turns out I didnt even have to buy filters cuz I had 2 pairs of filters from 7Hz Sonus that fits perfectly, and I put the metal grill back on too. I dont even know if theres a difference tho. Maybe I can sense a bit of a difference in some tracks where the "S" is dampened and not as sharp. I should of been listening to some tracks with the stock sound then compared it with the new setup, but also I did this when I woke up so the sound test is also affected by this. The real way ill be able to tell is if I watch some movies or tv series to know the difference cuz I did watch some shows with this set with the stock sound and I could hear the unnatural treble peaks, it was very obvious from the sibilance dragging those "suuu" pronunciations.

Yes I used a 450 grade filter....basically the Oxygen filter.

yes a 450 filter works well or then a Oxygen, which is basically the same.
