Because he’s so soft and desperate she doesn’t respect him or value his time. She keeps checking in every so often to see how much he still wants her. Given all communication ends up with him asking to date/relationship or whatever. She basically (correctly may I add) thinks you are sitting around waiting for her. Whether you want her back or to make her sorry...the dynamic needs to be flipped. Go get a girlfriend, FWB & post her on your socials or let it slip so that it gets back to a mutual friend who can then make sure the news gets back to her.
You also need to change sh1t. Go take up a hobby that nobody would expect. When she checks into your social media, she will see this new thing & it will immediately make her doubt her previous assessment of you. Right now, she thinks she knows everything about you & that you have been whipped. Doing something expected turns it all around. You want her to start thinking of you in a different way, then you need to live differently. Play hard to get, stop making her the centre of your life etc, etc.
What if you do that and she gets upset that you are seeing/sleeping with others?!
It’s not nature for them to be attracted to or respect mentally and emotionally weak men…

Now i know EXACTLY why my marriage failed. i fully blame myself, women are prisoners of their own nature. recently divorced, 3 kids, and shes dating some bum that is not nearly as good looking as me. I try not to care and move on, but i do wonder how could i possibly make her attracted to me again, not that i want her back tbh

She lost trust in me, respect, and i absolutely destroyed my masculine frame through the years… she checked out emotionally a couple years ago and around me she has Extreme masculine energy, I do believe she has a tiny TINY soft spot for me so even now im still trying to figure out how can i engage her so i start being more attractive to her. She doesn’t even want a friendly goodnight hug, it’s almost hilarious. For my own amusement I’m going to really try to solve this seemingly impossible puzzle

It’s not sad at all. Once a woman legitimately likes you… you almost can’t get rid of them. It’s almost exhausting
You don’t have to wonder whether or not they’re into you. It’s more than obvious. They’ll try to take as much of your time as possible
If you’re not sure, it’s because she isn’t yet sure how she feels about you
And you don’t want to be putting a bunch of pressure to lock her down when she doesn’t yet know how she feels about you
Make plans, make yourself available, show up properly when you’re together, and if you do what you’re supposed to and she’s interested… you won’t have to ask any of these questions. She’ll do it for you

It doesn't make you thirsty to lay out what you want. If she reacts badly to you stating needs or desires, move on.
There's no benefit to being with a narcissist that only ever wants to talk about her needs, never thinks about how she shows up in your world, never makes any effort to meet your needs.
Such women aren't looking for a boyfriend, they are looking for an emotional punching bag.

Dude i understand that you say "just dont text her, etc etc" But if you have no other options, or things to do, then its not easy. Lets say i met a girl once and kind of fell in love with her, then how can i just suffer without texting her if she doesnt reply after one day? I know it will be a while since i can meet a girl like that.
You've got to wait for her to get back to you whatever happens. Maybe she's busy. Maybe she's not that into you? It shouldn't matter. You've got to be busy being focused on your purpose in life day by day, not waiting around for a woman to text you back. You've got to find a purpose that is more interesting and compelling to you than women - women are supposed to complement your life, not be the centre of it.
Do what you like to do, work on yourself. What do you mean mo things to do? Hiking, biking, fishing, whatever your hobbies.
If you fell in love after one date then you have oneitice. Relax man, take her off the pedestal. The fact that you have nothing better to do but think about this one chick just shows you are not a 3% man. The key here is you, which is the only person you can control. Get busy living. In your current mindset by letting your emotions control your thoughts, you WILL mess up any future interaction you have with this chick. Plan out your day and time block so you can be productive (different than being busy chasing your tail). If you want any chance with this girl you must treat her like a girl you’re not even interested in and even view her like that. She might be amazing, who knows but you have to be in a position to rationally view her and get to know her. No more of this “I’m in love” after one date nonsense. I’ve been there bro, I’m speaking from experience and thankfully I stopped being like that a long time ago. Meditate and stay centered. If you don’t know how to meditate, go to a group session and learn. You might even meet some other ladies to hang out with. This girl is not the prize, you’re the prize.
But he got laid .. so that’s some gains
