"people can understand animals if they take the time to listen" Better explanation than the moonbeams/teardrop bullshit in the OTHER animated Titanic flick
@@hughbathurst731 it was fun. It was a lot of work being on set bright and early and sometimes all the way into the evening. Then spending that nights memorizing the lines for the scenes that we would be filming the next day before bed. It was a lot. But over all a great experience.
not only was there the "pig power in the house" music video on that DVD but! there was also THE MAKING OF the "pig power in the house" music video on that DVD!
Realistically speaking, theirs no way Gordy's parents would still have been alive after all of those months. His brothers and sisters maybe, but Mama and Papa pig would have been bacon by then.
As far as I know, they dont make bacon out of older pigs ^^, pig meat comes from what amounts to teenage pigs, the few adults being kept are just used for breeding :)
I only saw this once in 3 grade during recess when it was raining, so we went and watched this in the auditorium. And that ONE TIME was ENOUGH for me 👊🏼
"People can understand animals if they take the time to listen." So I can't understand my dog because I have never once done anything that requires giving my dog my full attention, ever. Not the training, playing, grooming, or the times we've laid in bed together with me being perfectly silent while I wait to fall asleep.
Gsponge 22 Yes! It all makes sense now! Clearly I'm paying too much attention to my dog! If I want to hear him talk I have to ignore him much more, with occasional glances lasting no more than 5 seconds.
the pigs owner would be able to use it.... I see what the grandpa might have been tryin' to do, unfortunately the kid didn't get the memo... or several hints, or the screaming fact of it being a pig. That... or the grandpa was incredibly senile...so so senile...
Three reasons why this is one of my favorite NC reviews: 1: I remember seeing this movie when I was really young, so it is, you guessed it, nostalgic for me. 2: That face at 10:44 XD 3: PIG POWER IN DA HOUSE!!!
Remembering having this on vhs in our family vacation trailer. It was so bad but we were so lazy we watched it multiple times. Thats what vacations were like before the internet kids!
Gordy. So Disney. Universal keeps things consistent and they don't leave the village, making it believeable. But in Disney every second person is rich and famous, making it way too far-fetched
I never heard of Gordy, but I've seen Babe when I was 3. My sister and I bought Babe on VHS the following year after it's theatrical run and we still have it.
As a kid, I spent my summers at the slaughterhouse with my grandpa, herding cows and pigs into shock sticks and sharp-bladed machinery. The echoing sounds of squeals and the unmistakable smell of blood and fecal matter mixed together won't go away.
I don't hate Gordy, but I do think Babe is better. This was still a pretty hilarious review though. Great job, Critic! And before I go... PIG POWER IN THE HOUSE!
How was the news there the moment they were pulling the kid and Gordy out of the pool? Did all those news people instantly transport there the moment they sensed the rescue was happening? Or did they throw them back in the water to pull them up while the news filmed it?
I love how the pig is doing nothing, and that everybody around him is doing all the stuff, ruining the plans of the villians, and getting a fortune for him!
Oink Oink Suey Yippi yo ka yeh- Pig Power in The House Oink Oink Suey Yippi yo ka yeh- Pig Power in The House Not sure whats funnier. This song or Nostalgia Critic dancing to it
***** i'm a big fan, so i'd know. And yeah, the use of the whole song was annoying. They even poked fun of it once. when they were In Heaven, God said "btw, Conway Twitty said cut it out. Just tell a joke"
It seems like every time I watch a Nostalgia Critic video, he gives me a new writing task. I now feel the need to write a backstory for the robber. He is far too interesting to ignore.
I would like to point out that Gordy did not come out first. Babe the film is based entirely on Dick King Smith's children's book 'The Sheep Pig' which came out twelve years before Gordy.

DO NOT SPEAK THAT TERRIBLE MOVIES NAME
Moonbeams/teardrops are real D:

We call the "moonbeam/teardrop bullshit" the CRACK COCAINE COMBO!
darwincity or, for short, the WOMBO COMBO!!! OHHH! Oohhhhhh Ohhhh! OOOHHHHHHH!!!!
I quote "I'M GOING TO EAT BREAKFAST NOW" literally everywhere..
As the kid that plays Hanky in this film @Nostalgia Critic, I find your review...HILARIOUS!!!
what did you think of doing this movie? Was it fun?

"I'm going to type this comment now."
*Screen fades out slightly to me typing this comment as my awkwardly smug face is still seen in the process*
Lmao funny part of the review
"Spiderpig, Spiderpig, does whatever a Spiderpig does." LMAO
"Can he swing... From a web? No he can't... He's a pig! LOOKOUUUUUUT here come the spider piiiiiig!!!!"

He should've been eating bacon or sausage.
bacon and eggs sounds delicious 😜

Good job UA-cam
***** that´s a very good point
I can only imagine auto-generated lyrics for Pig Power
"oink oink suey yippee yo kai yay
pig power in the house"
I love the awkward transition with halo parody scene. Genius.
The pot was mad because you called it a pan
Pots don't have handles
Looked pretty deep for a pan, though
Brian Colborn it's still a pan, though
+Herbert Alainius
Then why did you say "Pots don't have handles?" Oh, right...
Herbert Alainius If a pot didn't have handles, then how would you hold it?
Oh man, this takes me back to all the market research cartoons I used to watch as a kid
To be fair, 'Babe' is based on a book that came out waaaaaaaay before this atrocity.
The movie came out first too, so what's your point??
@@MrParkerman6 No, Gordy was released a few months before the Babe movie was.
I only saw this once in 3 grade during recess when it was raining, so we went and watched this in the auditorium. And that ONE TIME was ENOUGH for me 👊🏼
This movie seems to drop Gordy's motivation to find his mother rather quickly, doesn't it?
That dancing at the end... Beautiful!
I actually saw Sunday School Musical
That was time I would never get back.....
No doubt one of the best original NC Reviews.
Pig power in the house. Keep an eye out for it on "Shit Doggy Doggs Kibbles and Bitches" Album!
I prefer the power of FRIENDSHIP! yay . . .
Man... when Disney makes a bad movie, they really go all out..
it's the Disney way :) "go all out or go home" :)
but when they make a good one they go by the same principle :>
Sawyer Balisinski i see what you did there! :)
10:33 I can only imagine critic shooting "himself" in the transition at this point. That would've been quite the "WTF" NC moment.
so the boy is rich, has a pool in his back garden and yet he can't swim? Surely his family could afford a swimming instructor?

You just don't have puppy power that's your problem.
***** We need the ,'Bone of Scone'.
As the kid that talked to this pig I can tell you, you are doing it all wrong ;-)
Pig power in the house.
Seriously, my home's electricity is provided by fleets of pigs in hamster wheels.
Yeah, a child cannot handle all that money! Let's give it to an animal who will be unable to use it! That makes sense!
the pigs owner would be able to use it.... I see what the grandpa might have been tryin' to do, unfortunately the kid didn't get the memo... or several hints, or the screaming fact of it being a pig. That... or the grandpa was incredibly senile...so so senile...
The "I'm going to eat breakfast now" part really cracks me up! XD
The Pig Power in the House song has got to be the craziest thing since Walk the Dinosaur from... you know what.

What should I call you? Well breakfast comes to mind. LOL.
3:26-3:58-Oh god I nearly pissed myself!

I like that even the critics fake transition is more subtle than the one in the movie
Pig Power in the House was performed by Tag Team? TAG TEAM? The guys that gave us Whoop, There It Is? That's just ... AWESOME!
The popcorn scene from Free Willy XD
Hope D-T does that music ACTUALLY play durring that scene
***** Yes.
+FaceUnreality Really? That sounded more like a Spongebob cue =^O
Okay, this is one of his funniest reviews by far! The pan joke, and the breakfast joke had me rolling!
Can someone tell me how the family survived that long
too many vegetarians?
It's been two days since I watched this video, and I still have "Pig Power in the House" stuck in my head.
I may just be weird, but all I do during the review is notice how bloody perfect Doug's teeth are.
Well.. Learn something new everyday.
***** Damn. Well, good for him, getting his life together.
That can't be true though, where did you hear that???
"Child, did you say goodnight to your vagina!"I cannot
Pig Power in the House is still better than anything Lil Wayne made.
It's funny because It's true.

Gordy. So Disney.

But in Disney every second person is rich and famous, making it way too far-fetched
Not to mention actors like James Cromwell
love this review from Doug, one of his bests :)
Is anyone listening to the Pig Power Lyrics... they are hilarious
I never heard of Gordy, but I've seen Babe when I was 3. My sister and I bought Babe on VHS the following year after it's theatrical run and we still have it.
He heads north, and then we see a map that says he is traveling south, what's going on!
Funny! I was wondering how he even knew the truck was heading that way, or did he have Pig GPS?
because if they went north, they would have to crossover in to the movie North... nobody wanted that...
They should have just kept going South.. way down South -) but that be too much torture even for Hell.
melissa3289 Just south enough for them to get to the park. *nudge nudge* *wink wink* *orgasm orgasm*.
The part with the screaming pot scared the shit out of me the first time I saw it.
im producing a movie called bacon
We should team up; I'm producing a movie called sausage.
I'm producing a movie called I'm vegetarian.
*crying*
This is the funniest review of anything I've seen in my whole life. Dear me. I can't stop laughing.
granted a crossdressing madman with pantihoes on his head robbing a store would be very distracting
Is his gun pink? xD
I died at "kids will squeal for Gordy."
What the hell is up with Disney and parents? I seriously think the president of Disney hates parents...
the president of Disney..........IS A TEENAGER (: - 0

Henry Kiley Until he resigned in 2006. Robert Iger currently holds his position.
Leif Bradshaw yeah, he is

That part where it held on Doug's face while he was eating breakfast was just too funny for me!
Spider pig, spider pig, does whatever a spider pig does
Oh, God the rooster segment may be the best moment in Nostalgia Critic history.
OOHH, GORDY!!
+Brian Colborn that was hilarious
OH MY GOD I love this review! How did I miss it for so long? This is hilarious, i'm going to have to ask him if he remembers pig power.
10:28 - 10:45 I don't know why but I'm dying in laughter over this joke.
As a kid, I spent my summers at the slaughterhouse with my grandpa, herding cows and pigs into shock sticks and sharp-bladed machinery. The echoing sounds of squeals and the unmistakable smell of blood and fecal matter mixed together won't go away.

lol the roosters name is Richard. I think someone was making a dirty joke
Here's another movie about talking pigs on a farm...Animal Farm.
That's a creepy movie!
The book is creepy, too!
***** It does give me the chills, but it's a good book!
The book Babe is based on was published in 1983, eleven years before Gordy came out
I'm going to eat breakfast now

When he switched facial expressions while eating those cheerios, i about pissed myself with laughter.
I actually liked this movie. It was fun. Doesn't mean it was great, or even good. It was just fun to watch.
now i'm going to have that rap stuck in my head all day....
Not gonna lie, Pig Power in the House is kinda catchy
Definitely one of my favorite NC videos.
3:25-3:58 I died laughing.
R.I.P.
Dust Rabbit It was just that funny.
lord Darkseid While you were saving your family the farmer fell down the well!
lord Darkseid OH GORDY!! While you were saving him a plane crash happened!
lord Darkseid IDK but some are Scar, Hades, Dr. Facilier, and Yokai.

So the pig got famous, for jumping down the water, pushing that water toy thingy to the boy? I'm pretty sure dogs or dolphins could do that.
I love how the pig is doing nothing, and that everybody around him is doing all the stuff, ruining the plans of the villians, and getting a fortune for him!
Wow- I thought a rapping dog singing kibbles & b&$?!es was bad enough...
This is probably one of his funniest reviews
Babe was a book first.
I may just need to remove my tonsils for laughing so hard at: "I'm going to eat breakfast now."
He has to do an abridged movie at sometime.
Oink Oink Suey Yippi yo ka yeh- Pig Power in The House
Oink Oink Suey Yippi yo ka yeh- Pig Power in The House
Not sure whats funnier. This song or Nostalgia Critic dancing to it
this movie I'd assume gives Cool As Ice a run for it's money on the White-o-meter...
I really like that bit with the rooster....
"Oooohhh Gooordy!!"
This makes me so glad that I saw Babe first instead of this creepfest.
1:39 - "We know a remote farm in Lincolnshire, where Mrs. Buckley lives. Every July, peas grow there..."
Couldn't the girl have grabbed a nearby floaty and thrown it to him?
Pissed myself so much at this lmao, :)
Are you only getting into the Critic now?
Naw, just never seen this video before.
Vanilla ice was behind pig power in the house
Edyr Arteaga In actuality, it was the same guys who made "WHOOMP! There it is"
Thomas Liu oh god now i can't stop hearing it
hey monica, have a cigar
10:02 Priceless!!!!!!!! XD
pffft bahaaaha this is *TOTALLY* nostalgia critic's best review.
:O Nostalgia Critic fixed a Family Guy joke at 17:51
Because it only lasted for a few seconds at didn't just feel like filler!
***** actually no. its usually only one lyric. they only played the whole song once. The Juice is Loose

***** indeed
"and yeah it's the f*cking talking pig, that we are focusing of!!!" God I love that guy with the glasses.
"Pig power" is available on iTunes. What the hell.
I don't know if its me or this video but the first 3 minutes with the rooster and gordy had me laughing hysterically and that's saying a lot.
0:14 WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE! Are you telling me there's a rip off of High School Musical called Sunday School Musical!? I can't even....WTF!
+theAngryscotman What else can you expect from The Asylum?
MyGeniusFriend Madness!
Waaah! A wide angle lens! Best line ever ;)
BWAHAAHAAA!!! Pots and pans can talk to us if we just take the time to listen

Thanks professor Snape
Uhh, Gordy still came out first, despite what Babe was based on.
Maybe Gordy just spurred someone who knew the Babe narrative to make a decent pig movie
I like to believe that this movie is based more on Man-Bear-Pig rather then any children's novel.
3:25 - 3:58
I died of LAUGHTER throughout that whole joke! I could barely breathe! It took me a minute to catch my breath!
