She's Chewbacca's daughter - and here's the evidence: 1. She knows how to fly the Millenium Falcon instinctively - like Chewbacca does 2. She is cuddly - just like Chewbacca 3. Archangel-- but they still have the connection at then end of the film, after Snoke's death. Unless you believe the theory he isn't really dead. I'm not sure. I think anything could happen in episode 9.
it might be that he connected them and that he didn't need to keep it going himself, or that it's something that slowly fades, .... I am quite sure Snoke is dead, if they bring him back it's just another fuck up imo, but we don't exactly know the nature of the connection. Maybe Snoke was lying, maybe not. I don't see however what this shared connection (if snoke was lying) has to do with her being a kenobi.
Archangel-- I think Snoke is dead. The only way I could see him coming back is as a "Force ghost". My sister thinks Snoke was lying about the connection, I am not sure. I have not read the TFA novel but people who have say that Kylo feels some kind of connection with Rey in that interrogation scene...idk I think they are just two very powerful Force users who have that ability. I am not enough of a Star Wars expert to have an opinion on Rey's background. Rian Johnson stated that when Kylo tells Rey who her parents are he isn't lying or he didn't intend for him to be lying in that moment. Then I think he walked that comment back, stating that it was now in the hands of J.J. Perhaps, Kylo wasn't lying, maybe Rey was raised with the junk traders because she was taken from her parents? Who knows? If Rey does have a "special" backgound, I could more easily see her being a Kenobi (which would be interesting) than a Skywalker. I just can't believe they are going to rehash the brother/sister thing or that they are cousins. I wish they would just leave her an ordinary person because I like the message that the Force can be strong in anyone. At least, I thought that's what the message was when the little stable boy Force swept the broom into his hand at the end of TLJ. Sorry I rambled on. Didn't mean to.

"Rey screams NO! when Han Solo was killed just like Obiwan screamed NO! when Qui-Gon Jinn was killed". What was she supposed to scream? YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! ??
In Empire Strikes Back Luke did fairly well against Vader, who was an expert at dueling at this point, with minimal training. Rey who is obviously gifted, calm and level-headed took advantage of Kylo's injury and beat him. Like if you shot the most gifted fencer in the world in the stomach and then fenced him you'd probably have a decent shot at winning with little skill.
I still say Palpatine is Anakin's father, Luke is his grandson, and Rey will prove to be his great granddaughter... her grandfathers being Vader and Obi-wan. Pretty Epic!
In 8 kylo says rey's parents are nobody's. If this is true, which I don't think it is, then I don't know what Daisy was on about with "I would like to see the looks on people's faces."
ItalianGirl713 I hope she does become more powerful than Kylo and maybe eventually train new Jedi and make a new Jedi order finishing what Luke started
Your theory videos are some of the best I've seen. Super thought out ideas and the visuals to accompany them are edited in amazingly. I especially love your Reylo videos but i am biased because I'm obsessed with Reylo. Hope to see more theories from you! Possible Reylo part 4?😂😂
1. Rey and Obi Wan take the same lightsaber out of a chest and give it to Luke. 2. Obi Wan hires Han Solo for a job then Han hires Rey. This could've just been Rey bonding with Han, though I doubt it. 3. Both Obi Wan and Rey save a droid carrying important information. 4. Slightly more similarities in battle than Palpatine.
Other characters don't struggle with the mind trick, its just coincidence that the species they tried it on are either immune to it or the character just has a strong mind.
This is very true XD. Also I can't believe you didn't pick up on the fact in Rey's vision the first corridor has a significant resemblance with the shield corridor Obi-wan runs through to reach Maul at the end of The Phantom Menace
I seriously doubt that. There is no indication that Obi Wan's ability to perform a jedi mind trick was exclusive to him. There is also no evidence that Obi Wan had a sexual relationship with anyone, much less have a child or grandchild. As far as I remember Obi Wan was adamant about not having a intimate relationship as a Jedi as evidenced by him advising Anankin not to fool around with Padme.
Yeah they struggle with the mind trick dude. They try to do it but they can't. Why would a creature be immune to the Force? And their are not 'coincidences' in movies! And yeeaahh Rey seems to have a strong mind that only the Kenobi's seem to have. The Jedi mind trick.
Dag Josef Sakseid I'm not convinced. First of all, Anakin's love was the reason why he betrayed the Jedi. Obi-Wan is a proper Jedi and he would never make this mistake. Secondly, the fact that the Jedi Order is no more doesn't mean that Obi-Wan, who's loyal to the Jedi's teachings, should start breaking the rules.
A Tang her being Skywalker is tooooo cliche and it will mirror ESB and we will started calling episode 8 copy pasting same as TFA did to ANH..reason why peoples like the revelation of Vader being Luke's father back in the day because people didn't know and star wars lore wasn't big at the time..after the end of ROTJ ..star wars lore did become big with novels, games and etc..if Disney make her a Kenobi (aye hopefully).Disney already make one thing better with the new canon than the old canon..well to me at least ..because I really like old canon than new canon
I agree. I'm hoping she's not related to anyone we know...expect maybe one of the lesser characters from The Clone Wars series or something. Funny thing - some work pals and I were talking the other day about how she uses that staff a lot like Chirrut Imwe does. Hmm...
She's a Palpatine, not a Kenobi - Hens the English accent, why she is SO strong in the force that she even make's Luke or Anakin's budding force powers look child like. She also fight like him with lots of thrusting attacks, and is on the 'darkside' side of the Force Awakens poster...
James Myers Obi-Wan had and English accent as well, and i dont know if its canon anymore, but Palpatine was discovered by Plaguis when he was about 17, and Anakin showed way more force potential when he was way younger. Honestly i really dont know, and personally i am just done the Palpatines bullshit, just let him be done for Gods sake. Kenobi is dope so thats why I am am hoping that Rey is a Kenobi.
jake nguyen on that point obi wan is done too, let the guy go. He's only a supporting character around the skywalkers and palpatine. The first two trilogies are all about them at the end of the day, would be nice to see a role reversal - a palp good guy and a sky bad guy. Also think of the dynamic Luke training a palp... the conflict and danger... like him but not. I think I'd be quite good. but probably right with obi *yawn* talk about obvious and boring. Also the power Ray shows us is very different to other budding force users force power... She seems to have an innate power over the mind. Something Palp was very good at, getting in people's heads and baiting them... say just like the Ray / Kylo interrogation scene where she reads his mind and baits him by saying he'll never be as strong as Vader... Also followed by the mind trick scene... which is VERY Obi wan so probably right that he's her ancestor... but as I said, too obvious and boring imo.
Im sold on the kenobi thing... Ok so if Rey turns out to be Ben Kenobi's kid or grand kid... In the next SW movie she has to say "To a certain point of view..."
I'm standing by the these theories and hoping one is correct: 1. Rey is a descendant of Obi-Wan Kenobi. 2. Rey is a reincarnation of Obi-Wan Kenobi. 3. Rey is a reincarnation of Anakin. 4. Rey and Kylo Ren are both reincarnations of Anakin, Rey being the light side and Ren being the dark side. No matter what, I hope she's not Luke's daughter.
TheSilentCalico Technically, Anakin was supposed to be the Jesus of the Force if you don't include the extended universe. It wouldn't be too far fetched for Rey to be the savior reincarnated to undo the wrongs of Anakin. However, I could see where her being Obi-Wan reincarnated and being half of a reincarnation of Anakin could be stretching it.
I don't see number 4. being possible, because Kylo occasionally feels the pull to the light, and he supposedly became dark because of Snoke. Numbers 1 and 3 are best of those IMO.
httputub96 Yeah. I think my reason for 4 being an idea in my mind is because after the third episode, Darth Vader and Anakin are treated like completely different people. Because both were brought into their galaxy as "saviors," I thought that maybe it'd be possible Darth Vader could reincarnate as Anakin could. It sounds stupid, but it also sounds like something Hollywood would come up with. I'm honestly betting my money on the first and third theories, too.
Ok around 6:50 and 7:16 your comparisons to Rey and kenobi screaming "no!" When qui gon and Han died are really stupid..... like the rest of the video makes sense with your evidence and shit... but them screaming "no" because someone important to them died doesn't make them related... sorry just a small detail that bothered me
It makes a lot of sense, but sadly i found out today that her parents are just random people... (I hope we get a plot where obi-wan apears as a force ghost and say "no Rey, i'm your grandfather")
Actually they can't. It takes years of study in the Living Force before a Jedi can do so. Qui-Gon Jinn was the first Jedi we know of who began studying it, but died before he was able to complete his training, so he is only able to speak through the force. Obi-Wan spent the 20 years after Episode 3 studying it, so he could manifest, as could Yoda. We aren't really sure how Vader is able to manifest, since the Sith are unable to use the living force. So really, including Vader, we only know of 4 people who are able to use the living force.
I believe she is Obi-Wan's granddaughter. Satine had a secret child to protect Obi-Wan from being banished from Order. I do not believe Sabine is that child though. I do believe Laura Dern is playing that character though and she does look an awful lot like Satine and age wise she matches up.
I agree with mostly everything here except the Sabine-Satine thing. Sabine is in her 20s in Rebels, which takes place only a few years after the end of the Clone Wars, which only lasted 3 years. If Obi-Wan and Satine did get together between when they met and when Satine died they would only have within 3 years to birth a child, and considering how much time passes between the start of the Clone Wars and Rebels, sorry Vincent but Sabine is too damn old.
In the Clone Wars we learn that when Satine and Obi-Wan met the first time, wich was a long time ago, there were already romantic tensions between them. This could explain the problem with Sabine´s age.
I watched an interview with him, he says that he had to say ''Rey, these are your first steps'' which they played during Rey's vision. They also cut a part of ''afRAID'' (sounds like REY) which Alec Guinness says, and they used those 2 tracks(Ewan and Alec's) to morph them into one voice of Obi-Wan which Rey hears.
This is TRRUUUUUUEEEEEEE!!!!!! I saw and felt this so clearly upon watching both movies without the sheer amount of detailed connections you Enlace here!! Thanks so much for putting this together!!!
Having Rey be a descendant of Obi-Wan makes sense from a buisness standpoint, because then they can give more backstory to the Kenobi family through an Obi-Wan prequel set in between episode 3 and 4. If there's one thing I've learned about Disney, it's that they think with their wallet. More excuses for movies means more money in the end.
Is it wrong that I feel that Anakin's Saber has more of a connection with Obi Wan than Anakin himself ? Anakin seems not very fond of it during the prequels. Think about it. Obi wan retrieved Anakin's saber in Episode 2 when it fell, and told him "This light saber is your life" Afterwards after The battle in Mustafar Obi Wan takes Anakin's saber for safekeeping for the following years of his exile. Which is really long time until finally giving it to Luke.. Obi wan has had that saber for a longer and more emotional time than any of the 2 Skywalkers. And Rey if she's a kenobi would come full circle in retrieving Skywalkers Saber and finally giving it to Luke just like Obi wan once did to him and his father before him! Edit: Might I also add that during the Force vision in episode 7 we don't have really any trace of Anakin during that vision except for Obi wan who calls out for her and Says "these are your first steps" which basically makes my suspicions even higher.
You are like one of the few people I've seen actually realize that lightsaber is even anakens. Everyone I see, even the film theory channel kept calling it luke's lightsabre. And it's like... wow the one channel that's popular as fuck and the guy who prides himself because he "puts a shit ton of research into his videos" even calls that lightsaber Luke's. Just because obi wan gave it to him doesn't make it his, that kyber crystal is still linked to anaken, matter of fact luke gets his own sabre.
I thought that Luke lost the one that Obi wan gave him (which was Anakins'). when Vader chopped off his hand. Then, the next time he fights Vader, Vader says "I see you've constructed a new light saber ... your training is complete".
A lot of these similarities don't even make sense, how does something like screaming "no" when a friend dies suggest two people are biologically related?
I really do hope she is a Kenobi though, I don't want her to be a Skywalker. It is unlikely she is a Kenobi though, pretty obvious it's gonna be a generic Skywalker.
its a continuation from the previous installment and it had always been about skywalker. If they wanna make a twist, then it shouldnt be called as episode 7,8,9 as it would refer to continuation of previous installment which is and always be about skywalker.
About the mind tricks: In some books it is said that there are two species that are impervious to mind tricks. Guess which two species it is? Toydarians and hutts
Thank you! As the other jedi did not "struggle" with the mind trick. They used it on a race who was impervious to mind tricks. Then you have the strong willed minds who are not swayed by the jedi mind trick. Only Dominate mind, which is MASTER class only skill which takes decades of training to obtain. However to the video. Sure I can see Rey being a Kenobi, makes the most sense in a movie that gives the viewer very little to go on. Disney changed so much that maybe you no longer even need training to do these things now. I'm like Jolee Bindo, Far to old and tend to ramble. Now get off my lawn!
Actually being mandalorian is more of a religion and less of a species. think of jango fett, he is human. Mandalorian could be anything from hutts to Wookies.
For the record Luke and Qui Gon Gin (please don't kill me I forgot how to spell his name) had no trouble using the Jedi mind trick the problem was the fact that in both cases the species were immune to the Jedi mind trick.
As a funny note, open 2 two videos of this channel, you hear 2 guys talking, try to follow both conversations at the same time. Perfect challenge cause his voice tone and volume is so perfectly consistent, it's rly fun.
DId nobody watch the force awakens trailer where Luke says: "The force is strong in my family, my father has it, I have it, my sister has it, you have that power too." ? To me, that implies that she is indeed a Skywalker.
the new movie might be delayed a bit. Since Carrie Fisher's death, they might have to rewrite the scripts a bit and maybe start over some scenes. Since it supposed to be coming out at the end of the year there might not be no delaying, but we never know.
+Where's My Strippers At? perhaps but filming for ep8 has been finished since the summer its been in post production long enough for them to release the movie today(yes seriously -_-) however you are correct in the form if Carrie was going to have a big or bigger part in ep9 they might have to go back and change a few things in ep8 to write her out of ep9.
This video is absolutely perfect! You totally nailed it. The comparisons can't be ignored when you look at them side by side like you showed in this video. Keep up the great work Oh and where did you find all those script exerpts?? I wanna read them all!
Too bad because when Rey was wearing that Rebel Alliance helmet, she looked just like little Anakin from the Phantom Menace. She's definitely a Skywalker!
Can't be any worse than the OP's Kenobi has a British accent and Rey has a British accent, therefore related! Especially since he immediately proposed that Sabine is most likely Kenobi's secret daughter and Rey's mother and yet she's running all over the place sans accent. Perhaps accents skip a generation? Along with the dark hair/eyes and dusky complexion which neither Satine nor Kenobi have. XD
vader go back to hell. Rey Kenobi it is!! I believe! The force is strong in these two characters. Especially in Rey! Descendants of The Light side of the Force have strong connection's to one another. Plus Ben solo is from the Skywalker bloodline.
Michael Roche Rey Skywalker it is. The Force is strong with my granddaughter. Ben Solo has a cousin! Rey is a Skywalker! Search your feelings, you know it to be true!
I am so confused but this actually makes sense bc rey and Ben would be cousins if she was a Skywalker or something idk the starwars family tree is weird
some points don't make any sense and are clearly coincidental, but the theory overall is pretty solid and it would be fun to see more kenobis in star wars in my opinion
AR Geyer but please, be sure to let go of every theory when you go to see the movie. It's the only way to ensure that you'll enjoy it :) good luck, and may the force be with you!
But seriously think about it, the clues point to both of them. I feel it's honestly a toss up but what if this is planned because she is related to both? Obviously this is a bit out there but it's possible.
Lewis The Lycanroc Fan I hope not. People tend to forget about the Jedi celibate just because it was mentioned in the prequels. As a proper Jedi with lots of responsibilities, Luke wouldn't get married, unlike his EU counterpart.
I'm 100% convinced. star wars is Skywalker and Kenobi. Kylo is Anakin's grandson and Ray is Obi-Wan granddaughter. Fantastic. I do think Jakku is Tatooine. They renamed their world when they found out Darth Vader was born there. She wasn't being left on Jakku, her parents were simply leaving their home and her behind, for reasons still unknown.
A major battle between Empire and Rebellion was either fought above Jakku or it truly is a scrap metal yard for the Galaxy. There has got to be a reason so many Craft are rusting in the sand there and given that there are rebel craft as well it would seem a major battle is the more likely. Tattooine had no strategic value, was Vaders homeworld so he knew it wasn't a threat to the empire ans it was already governed by the Empire and had a resident Empire population that was only boosted when Vader wanted to find the droids. Any semblance to Tattooine is just sand in the wind.
Jim Reaper There was a major battle on Jakku. I'm pretty sure it was the last stand for the empire, before they signed the concordance and went off into uncharted space.
Elijah Beukers it showed in the force awakens when Rey was having those visions of her innermost thoughts and feelings man when she was a child and the ship was leaving her behind and that man was holding her hand, her parents were the people or PERSON in the correllian corvette lookn ship that was leaving her behind, remember after she was touching the lightsaber,Luke's lightsaber which was also Vaders before him and it's really interesting because kylo wants that saber too,he wants it bad, agree,he knew it was Vaders she knew it was Luke's,so go figure,I honestly believe there is going to be a lot goin on around that particular lightsaber man I really really do
Rey also screamed "No" when she saw Han Solo being killed, just like Obi Wan screamed "No" when he saw Qui Gon being killed, Just like Darth Vader screamed "No" when Padme was being killed, Just like Like Skywalker screamed "No" when Obi Wan was being killed, Just like how Anakin Skywalker screamed "No" when Darth Sidious was being killed. funnyhappyharry lmao
LMAO
funnyhappyharry
yeah, no. darth vader screamed no after he was told he killed Padme, not during.
didn't Obi Wan also scream "NO" when QuiGon was killed?
and if you are referring to Palpatine being thrown into the reactor, that was Anakin screaming "NO" when Sidious was killing Luke, and then stopping it.
Ken Brown if you watched the video he says that lol

Boekster Cubing kylo ren and the kingdom of the Crystal darth Vader helmet
only to use Mutt's actor in Star wars VIII and Kylo Ren's actor in Indiana Jones V and that's it...
Indiana Solo movie.... because why not?
THAT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM
Will.O 101 That lightsaber.... It belongs to me.
okay this is so real. the last jedi just came out and you were correct that they can see each other in their visions. i am 100% convinced Rey is a Kenobi

Natalie Jara yah I was about to say
Natalie Jara Ian Mcgregor i miss you
there is an obi-wan star wars story coming out if you did not already know
Natalie Jara If it is true, the movie should feature Satine Kryze aka Rey's grandmother.
Your prayers have been answered after all these years.
This was actually really well researched, unlike most videos about Star Wars theories.
"They both had scenes in the rain" sure...
Ragd0ll My fellow fan friend... you're kidding right? This guy comes up with the worst fan theories out there. What's next? Everyone who says "I have a bad feeling about this" is related?

Neha well written :) agree :)
Neha And Kylo and Rey are going to have a hit love scene
i think that would be awful haha
Arthur Nall Actually Kylo was Rey's father around 10 11 years old. In Episode 8, he will cut her hand off, and declare "I am your father".
Its so weird that out of so many force semsitives in the entire SW Universe it had to Kenobi's come on Im sure the series would be so limited if only a skywalker or kenobi sis part of the main cast
I really wish this was confirmed in The Rise of Skywalker
she mite be a palpotine and a kenobi
It's funny because the kenobi just gave a way how it would've been possible
With revealing that kenobi has a brother
Rise of Kenobi
Instead we got a Palpatine and identity theft.
No this would just be worse
You make a lot of good points, but honestly I think most people would scream "NOOOOO!!!!" if they saw their friend get impaled by a lightsaber.
honestly thats what I was thinking
I think what he means is that the events that cause them to do that are very much mirroring each other its way less therir reactions but that their life events appear to show up a certain analogy. it just sounded a little bit off the way he said it. rey could just not have been present when han died e.g.
DelDuio agree, alot of these scenes could be mirroring old kenobi scenes, but i wouldn't take them as a definitive evidence since they can be explained as coincidences.
Not me, I'd scream, "Oh, shit, you skewered my nigga!"
yea, i was laughing my ass off at some of these points and how stupid they are, while others make actual sense
Obi wan is my fav jedi, I so want Rey to be either a kenobi or palpatine
Rey is Luke's daughter
patrick the pirate same
***** Rey is Luke's daughter. Search your feelings, you know it to be true!
y-not? Oh god no....
PRAY FOR REY KENOBI !!!
"Screams no when killed" Well they are not gonna scream YEEEAAAAH!!! are they?
timoe I think he was trying to tell you that they BOTH said NOOO instead is maybe saying nothing. I do get your point though.
darth vader said"NOOOOO" as well though
Yeah a lot of the parallels he brought up didn't hold much weight, but the music one was interesting.
Luke screamed NO! when Obi wan died
If the higher ground favors Rey, then confirmed, she is.
Well done!
Obi wans granddaughter? That would be epic.
OH8STN and would explain a lot if it was actually Kenobi’s saber is TFA...
Of course it is his granddaughter. I mean, they both speak with an English accent. Isn't that clue enough? :-)
Worrell057 exactly! When I heard her accent I just knew...then the other clues came into view. 👍🏻
Absolutely!
I agree, it all fits!
Me to me: "I'm not gonna watch a 25 minute Star Wars theory video, it's midnight"
Also me: *Watches it*
Me to me: "I'm not gonna watch a 25 minute Star Wars theory video, it's 6 in the morning"
Also me: Watches it
Me to me: "I'm not gonna watch a 25 minute Star Wars theory video, it's 10:57AM @work... Also me: Watches it...
Prince Lum , lmao, I am watching this at midnight. Trying to finish a research paper. Not star wars related unfortunately...
Prince Lum hahahaha!
Prince Lum I've been watching these all week XD 3am every night XD each time I'm like...go to sleep no theories tonight....then I watch them anyways.
"Rey screams NO! when Han Solo was killed just like Obiwan screamed NO! when Qui-Gon Jinn was killed".
What was she supposed to scream? YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! ??
No she was supposed to scream Either "SHIT!" or "Fuck!" ;-)
Wyrdak thats what Hes saying though. Star Wars has always been about Parallelism. its all the Same pattern.
GOOOOD!
Darth Vader also scream NOOOOOO when he found out that Padme is already died.
Luke also screams NOOOOOO when Obi Wan was killed by Vader. That's done in the first episode of each trilogy.
I can’t believe he is right. He predicted the right stuff a year before at 21:35
Concur. Rey being a Kenobi would make the most sense
Devonly it doesn’t
I have to say the "actual" reveal was a major let down... here's hoping JJ will retcon a better parentage in episode 9
Devonly This could still stand as a theory
Devonly It could have been a lie
Obi Wan died 15 years before Rey died
The whole Kylo vs Rey is a parallel to Anakin vs Kenobi is very interesting.
Okay. It's canon. Cannot be otherwise. Too many links and coincidences don't happen in Star Wars.
Yeah that fight scene is badass and if this makes that scene parallel to the fight scene of rey and ren that scene would be awesome
it makes it seem cooler. still hate ME-REY SUE and how she wins with a lightsaber without any training in that or the force.
that scene is like boring because of disney it should have more potential or emotions at least
This guy can convince me of anything. I just got done explaining to my friends how Rey was the granddaughter of Sideous. XD
Rey is Luke's daughter
Maybe, Maybe not.
haha same xD the other day i was telling my tattoo artist how mace is snoke while he was doing my arm
Same here lol
I still say Palpatine is Anakin's father, Luke is his grandson, and Rey will prove to be his great granddaughter... her grandfathers being Vader and Obi-wan. Pretty Epic!
I believe after seeing this that her father was a Palpatine and mother a Kenobi
I pray she is a Kenobi because it would be unexpected! Unlike the obvious she's a Skywalker that many people had said.
I have a granddaughter . . . I so happy LUKE HAN HAVE YOU HEARD I HAVE A granddaughter.
Hishe? xD
you learned will
Bruh why ur death so anti climatic??💀💀
Obi-Wan Kenobi Indeed.
Obi-Two Kenobi - FUCK all the skywalkers... annoying little bitches ass hoes ... #kenobi2020
Roses Are Red,
Violets aren't blue,
Why does everyone
Want to go back to Jakku?
Tara Jones underrated comment.
Tara Jones lol thats so creative
None of your business
LOL
Tara Jones no no no it's roses are red violets are blue what the heck is this guy talking about?
In 8 kylo says rey's parents are nobody's. If this is true, which I don't think it is, then I don't know what Daisy was on about with "I would like to see the looks on people's faces."
Tom Neville he could’ve been doing it to throw her off course and turn her easier to the dark side
Jay DT yeah he was just trying to manipulate her, he is afraid that she’ll become more powerful I believe
ItalianGirl713 I hope she does become more powerful than Kylo and maybe eventually train new Jedi and make a new Jedi order finishing what Luke started
Maybe, Since Anakin somewhat hated Obi Wan, Ben Solo has the same hate for him as well calling them nobodies. I do not know what I am saying
Since Kylo is so obsessed with Anakin.
Hello there.
Obi-Wan Kenobi I THOUGHT YOU DIED?!
Choos life, Anakin
Obi-Wan Kenobi is Rey your granddaughter
I read it in obi's voice hahah
How is your high ground?
Rey also breathing air, just like a Kenobi! OMG! myth confirmed!
Wait I'm breathing air too! I must try to mind lift something...
Olba13 MC lift with your brain clot
Oh snap
We are all breathing! SWEET MOTHER OF GOD!!! We are all Kenobis! It is the only logical conclusion!
shave your head And go to sleep THAT MEANS MY DOG IS A KENOBI OMG!!!!!!
thank you for acknowledging that rey as luke's daughter is way too predictable. exactly what i thought.
it's too sad that luke is childless then. way too sad. No leia, no any1else.
plot twist its reverse psychology, they knew it would be predictable so everyone would reject it. then BAM its actually true
Tina N
Tina N
4. Slightly more similarities in battle than Palpatine.
hahaha so wrong, soooo wrong u suck so much
A R rude
It’s not possible for Rey to be obi-wans daughter think of how old kenobi was in the original trilogy
they both have british accents
Michael Davies granddaughter
Other characters don't struggle with the mind trick, its just coincidence that the species they tried it on are either immune to it or the character just has a strong mind.
This is very true XD. Also I can't believe you didn't pick up on the fact in Rey's vision the first corridor has a significant resemblance with the shield corridor Obi-wan runs through to reach Maul at the end of The Phantom Menace
Vincent Vendetta but you can't deny you did show footage only when they failed their mind trick
There are no "coincidences" in film.
Yeah they struggle with the mind trick dude. They try to do it but they can't. Why would a creature be immune to the Force? And their are not 'coincidences' in movies! And yeeaahh Rey seems to have a strong mind that only the Kenobi's seem to have. The Jedi mind trick.
I REALLY FUCKING HOPE SHES A KENOBI NOT A SKYWALKER THAT WOULD JUST BE BORING AF
mr frank agree
mr frank why Kenobi? Obi-Wan is a proper Jedi, and Jedi aren't allowed to fall in love and marry. Seems like people tend to forget important stuff.
Did you not watch the entire video? He explains this at about 8:50
Dag Josef Sakseid I'm not convinced.
You have a point, I guess. At least it's confirmed that she isn't Luke's daughter. 12:23
Although it's a good theory some of these points were a bit ridiculous
I know right lol. Exactly what I said. I do believe she is a Kenobi tho.
It would only make sense. A Kenobi and a Skywalker married and ruling the galaxy.
Superman YOU ALREADY KNOWWWW REYLOOOOOOO
But how could she be if Obi-wan was a Jedi? It was against the Jedi code to get married and he even got mad at Anakin for doing so.
Acacia Hubing Obi-wan did fall in love with someone but I forget her name
Acacia Hubing my nigga. The Jedi council was gone after revenge of the sith. It didn’t apply anymore.
LULU AJ Obi fell in love with Satine, a Mando.
If this theory turns out to be wrong then you're gonna be like "what I told you was true, from a certain point of view"
Black Simpson For me it looks different up here on the high ground
Bru this gave me a new hope
Rey has the high ground. Obi Wan has it too. COINCIDENCE?!
I THINK NOT
Arka high ground!!!!
Luke had the high ground against Vader too
Luke doesn't master it though and almost took a light saber to the face.
There are no coincidences in movies, least of all Star Wars. 😁
At this point, I'll take Rey being anything else but a Skywalker.
How about a Binks?
_harveyy__ Would make for a great reaction when he is revealed to be the mastermind behind the scenes.
+_harveyy__ Mesa liken da way yousa tink ;)
I agree. I'm hoping she's not related to anyone we know...expect maybe one of the lesser characters from The Clone Wars series or something. Funny thing - some work pals and I were talking the other day about how she uses that staff a lot like Chirrut Imwe does. Hmm...
Please, please, please let Rey be a Kenobi. Thats all i ask
Hatta Otol ikr!
Also followed by the mind trick scene... which is VERY Obi wan so probably right that he's her ancestor... but as I said, too obvious and boring imo.
we last saw kenobi as a 80 year old pretty much, i dont think hes the father
Star Wars fans: Rey is a Kenobi
The Last Jedi: *Hold my beer*
Im sold on the kenobi thing... Ok so if Rey turns out to be Ben Kenobi's kid or grand kid... In the next SW movie she has to say "To a certain point of view..."
kabukiwookie No, she has to say "Hello there."
She gets to keep her arm
Or "I don't have a good feeling about this."
She also needs to say “It’s over, Kylo. I have the high ground.”
I'm standing by the these theories and hoping one is correct:
"Reincarnation"? I don't think thats gonna happen. in my opinion reincarnation would be far too complex.
Any of those would be amazing
Ok around 6:50 and 7:16 your comparisons to Rey and kenobi screaming "no!" When qui gon and Han died are really stupid..... like the rest of the video makes sense with your evidence and shit... but them screaming "no" because someone important to them died doesn't make them related... sorry just a small detail that bothered me
That was one of his weaker points.
GameJump3RZ It's just a random similarity he found.
GameJump3RZ that's not what he's saying... he's stating they had this set up from the beginning. they purposely put similarities in the movies.
Alot of points are pretty weak tho
Yeah, he was stretching it a bit in that part where he was making all of those small parallels, but I felt everything else were pretty good theories.
You definetly know what your talking about. Your theories are the best.
She is the illegitimate daughter of Jar Jar Binks.
and Snoke is Darth Jar Jar! :O
So Kylo Ren is the Skywalker running around messing shit up this time, and Rey is the Kenobi cleaning up after him?
OMG I thought the same thing LOL reading it from you made me about spit my coffee on my screen.
Jedi Council of Florida haha me too lol
That is hilarious!!!!!!!!!
She is Jabba's daughter. End of.
James West know way Jabba is a big slug
Come on she's obviously related to Jar Jar Binks
I thoroughly enjoy mocking donald trump no she's related to watto
I thoroughly enjoy mocking donald trump jabba's sister and jar jar had a baby and that created rey
James West nope otherwise she'd be a hut
It makes a lot of sense, but sadly i found out today that her parents are just random people... (I hope we get a plot where obi-wan apears as a force ghost and say "no Rey, i'm your grandfather")
Stop being so convincing, you are confusing me as hell
:D
I feel like if you find this convincing you should never listen to Alex jones or you will be ranting about gay frogs soon.
iSweat-Axion lol
MINDBLOOWN!!! Also Rey hears Obi-Wans voice in her vision
She also hears Yodas voice, hmmm that's a theory it is.
John Gray yeah but u can't make a point hear because she hears yoda obi wan and palpatine it's various characters mixed up
yeah just joking
Most of the dead Jedis can talk with alive ones. This doesnt means nothing about any Theory ...
Pablo debunked this
Darth Vader the Sabine theory I believe he did debunk but Laura Dern?
Darkwintre Well all we should just do is wait.
Yes, funny part this video left me wondering what other options are available noone's suspected yet!
Darkwintre Yep, in my opinion, we should all just let the movies tell us, instead of getting these theories out of hand.
Sabine is about 16 in Rebels
In the Clone Wars we learn that when Satine and Obi-Wan met the first time, wich was a long time ago, there were already romantic tensions between them. This could explain the problem with Sabine´s age.
Doesn't Rebels take place 14 years after the Clone Wars?
Obi Wan literally appears in the show, and he looks really old
cmon, if they got Ewan to do some voice acting in episode 7, thats gotta be more than a clue
Where have u gotten that info? I love Ewan!!
Albin Jonsson yes he says some things when rey has a dream sequence
*Rey is the product of a night of Deathsticks...*
Chest Pec Respect lmfao
I'm Only Happy When it Reigns LMAO😂😂😂
LOL i love you internet
This is TRRUUUUUUEEEEEEE!!!!!! I saw and felt this so clearly upon watching both movies without the sheer amount of detailed connections you Enlace here!! Thanks so much for putting this together!!!
star wars is all about mirroring. it's beautiful.
Dom Vezina I know right. Wow!
Gemaera Wow!
wow!
Dom Vezina it's like poetry...it kinda rhymes
Dom Vezina you mean rehashing?
You've convinced me
Having Rey be a descendant of Obi-Wan makes sense from a buisness standpoint, because then they can give more backstory to the Kenobi family through an Obi-Wan prequel set in between episode 3 and 4. If there's one thing I've learned about Disney, it's that they think with their wallet. More excuses for movies means more money in the end.
Besides, I think it would be very sweet to have a Skywalker mentor a Kenobi for once.
Dr.'sorders it would make sense if shes his Granddaughter which is clearly stated in the video
Dr.'sorders do you not know what fucking descendent means
They could do the same with Palpatine, a younger Palp where we get to see Darth Plag in all his glory. I would rather see that.
Cue the Cat in the Hat: Ch-ching! Winks at the camera.
these videos are feeding my hipe for star wars 9 and some quality time with daisy ridley
I'm fine as long as she's not Luke's daughter.
LeoBrickFilms couldn't agree more
LeoBrickFilms Same here.
Shadow of Altaïr Lmao I just said I don't want him to be her father since that's stupid. And, no, I'll keep watching Star Wars.
Same
I'm fine with her being Luke's daughter.
I fucking love this theory, bc Rey is sure as hell not related to me.
Darth Sidious Rey Palpatine
I sure fucking hope not
i would love to see her related to one of the two
wAIT
@@guilloboi how did you know
this one was one of the best ive heard besides the palpatine theory
eeyore the palpatine theory is dumb in my opinion 😕
Agree.
nah i like the palpatine theory, but this here is more believable imo
I suppose Rey's parents being nobodies doesn't preclude Obi-Wan being her grandfather. Two years left!
Luke also said "no!"
I believe Vader also said "NoOoooooooo!"
Palpatine said "No" 3 times
Also my GF said no about a dozen times
Also Mace Windu said "No" when asked about the authorizarion of creating the clone army.
obvious joke is obvious. Or is it?
I laughted so much with that one
It's obvious Jar Jar is the father.
suprhomre *Luke Scream*
suprhomre duh
The Mighty Gamer T_dawg I did it for you
suprhomre no, chewie
suprhomre all hale Darth Jar Jar
Aldair Reynoso Yes! Brilliant comment. I hadn't even realized how much time Obi-Wan spent with that lightsaber.
Scenes in the rain?! Now I’m convinced.
Because the only people in the movies to scream noooo when a friend dies are Obi Wan and Rey (I think)
sooo luke scream got totally ignored in episode4 when obiwan died?
komasdfg obi wan never died. he's now immortal
SPOILER: Rey is yodas daughter. She has green eyes
And Yoda says something to her in the vision scene!
rey living on a desert planet is a mirror of yoda living on a swamp planet! yoda daughter confirmed
it's like poetry it rhymes.
Miles Anderson thank you
funny you are not.
I want Rey to be a Palpatine and turn to the dark side, and then I want Finn and Kylo to become Jedi.
LMAO I seriously like that idea! Would maybe make up for TFA being the worst Star Wars film. ;)
I think Kylo has too high a body count of innocent people to still be jedi material.
too predictable, star wars already had people turning sides
Reverse of anakins?
bob hobby nah
It's kinda ironic how at some point they were gonna make her a Kenobi but then changed that
If Rey is not Obi-Wan's grand-daughter, I'll be disappointed
Me too. If there is a Skywalker, so too must there be a Kenobi.
Michael Kinley seems youll deffintly be disapointed.
Could be Qui Gons relative
But that's soooooo coooool!!
GUYS guys. Rey is obviously...
A reincarnation of jar jar
About the mind tricks: In some books it is said that there are two species that are impervious to mind tricks. Guess which two species it is? Toydarians and hutts
Tebbs agree, that was hasty induction right there, we would have to see Quigon and Luke try to persuade clones and fail to make any generalizations.
Mandalorians too
Mandalorian could be anything from hutts to Wookies.
the parallel section was dumb: "Ben Kenobi shits in a bucket" ALSO "Rey shits in a bucket"....OMG THEY"RE RELATED!!!!!!
Really though lol, "They both scream, no, when their friend is killed." What are they supposed to say?
Eight Cyl. They are supposed to say "SO UNCIVILIZED"
hahah that was probably the dumbest point ever in otherwise interesting theory :D
the parallels aren't there to convince you that they are related, they are there to show that the creators did it on purpose because they are related
Eight Cyl. "nice"
Literally the most put together theory I've seen. Well done!
Again a Kenobi defeats a Skywalker, gotta love the Kenobi's
but i did kill s Kenobi.. hehehe
Obi-Wan Kenobi at least i had my revenge
Joop Vanhengelen fuck jedi
Darth Vader technically you didn't kill him he sacrificed himself to save Luke and become a force ghost sooo Yeh sorry buddy lol
+Ne Kaka fuck antifa
Really job well done. lot of work put into this, Great job.
Nathanael Heil or he was talking to a young Kylo
I originally thought, still pull for it, that Finn is a Skywalker. Yes, Finn is black, but who says Luke didn't have a thing for the sistahs.
Could have easily been speaking to Ben Solo, not Rey.
There a lot of trailers with scenes and music that never appear in the final film so I wouldn't take anything tangible away from them.
She could somehow be both. Just how Kylo is a Skywalker and a Solo, for example.
So Luke and Rey are going to create the powerful Skywalker/Kenobi hybrid.
Vincent Vendetta this reply made me belive in reylo
Finn Skywalker pls
Vincent Vendetta Yay
Rey will fall in love with Luke when he shows her his Yacht!
Um how about no lol!!
Idc who's her parents i just wanna see the new movie already haha.
Xavier Wulf hollow squad ❄️🌊
Xavier Wulf yes... that's the WHOLE point after all... 👍
the new movie might be delayed a bit. Since Carrie Fisher's death, they might have to rewrite the scripts a bit and maybe start over some scenes. Since it supposed to be coming out at the end of the year there might not be no delaying, but we never know.
+Where's My Strippers At? the movies has already finished filming
Keep up the great work
Oh and where did you find all those script exerpts?? I wanna read them all!
All I gotta is, if its another Skywalker then that's just another repeat which would suck ass and piss fans off.
Actually the whole series is about the Skywalkers so it would make a lot of sense.
meh but its just gonna be repetitive I don't think anyone wants to see a starkiller base 2 ffs
Too bad because when Rey was wearing that Rebel Alliance helmet, she looked just like little Anakin from the Phantom Menace. She's definitely a Skywalker!
also just doesn't make sense since she's from the UK tho
Can't be any worse than the OP's Kenobi has a British accent and Rey has a British accent, therefore related! Especially since he immediately proposed that Sabine is most likely Kenobi's secret daughter and Rey's mother and yet she's running all over the place sans accent. Perhaps accents skip a generation? Along with the dark hair/eyes and dusky complexion which neither Satine nor Kenobi have. XD
Screw her being a Palpatine, her being a Kenobi would be way better
Skywalker.
Darth Vader He had another theory video of her being a Palpatine 👌
One123 Oh god no, so many ridiculous theories....
vader go back to hell.
This is honestly who Rey was related to, I don’t think she will be Luke’s daughter.
Also, I forget who but when Rey has the flashbacks you can hear qui gon Jin or obi-wan, so whoever that was I think is Rey’s father or grandfather.
She also has one-wans most popular power, the Jedi mind trick.
Just saying also, I’m writing these while watching sos prey if I’m just retelling what this guys is saying.
Looks like your faith in a tinfoil hat theory was misplaced XD.
Relent Suros Reylo will be ruined
I am so confused but this actually makes sense bc rey and Ben would be cousins if she was a Skywalker or something idk the starwars family tree is weird
I heard about something on Google about Rey and Kylo being Cousins either Once or Twice removed. So they could be Cousins
This one makes the most sense to me. If she isn't a Kenobi, I will be disappointed
some points don't make any sense and are clearly coincidental, but the theory overall is pretty solid and it would be fun to see more kenobis in star wars in my opinion
If she *is* a Kenobi then she's going to cause a whole lot of trouble for everyone good.
ye me to
You know what makes sense? Twins.
AR Geyer but please, be sure to let go of every theory when you go to see the movie. It's the only way to ensure that you'll enjoy it :) good luck, and may the force be with you!
So.... um she's not my kid........well um I'm going to question myself
FUCK
Death sticks are one hell of a drug
Luke Skywalker rofl
Luke Skywalker heller son
Hello*
welp hello. im just gonna adopt this as canon.
nonononononono reylo pls.
its obvi kylux
The one thing I love about Star Wars is that everything is connected. You just have to connect the dots and see what picture tells the story
What if palpatines kid and obi wan kenobis kid got freaky together and then ba da bing ba da boom Rey is born
But seriously think about it, the clues point to both of them. I feel it's honestly a toss up but what if this is planned because she is related to both? Obviously this is a bit out there but it's possible.
TwolvesLover15 honestly though😂 i like that
+1 for the ba da bing ba da boom...
TwolvesLover15 ooooho Don't know if that could work but it would fit with fight styles etc.
Eden Mark u ever read Romeo and Juliet? Forbidden love lol
Dude, I don't mean to bug you, but are you still making your Rey and Kylo theory vid that you mention in this video? I love your theories!
I talked to him and yes he is. It's going to be a very long video.
i said nooo when i dropped my coffee ...guess im related too obi wan
I doubt you could scream no like a Kenobi.
😂😂😂
Yea that theory is based on that. What a great comment. And remember, its a theory.
luke scream no too when darth vader reveal that he is luke's father, so luke is a kenobi? 😆 nice comment btw..
Kim Sang you're retarded
21:37 HE PREDICTED AND WAS RIGHT!
SHE MUST BE A KENOBI. IF HER FATHER IS LUKE IT'LL BE OBVIOUS AND BORING AF
Pinky Pix and if her grandfather is Obi-Wan, it will be ridiculous and impossible.

It is for you because you've never seen this video.
Lewis The Lycanroc Fan I've seen it and I disagree with it.
I agree with it, we don't even know if Luke married someone.
Lewis The Lycanroc Fan I hope not. People tend to forget about the Jedi celibate just because it was mentioned in the prequels. As a proper Jedi with lots of responsibilities, Luke wouldn't get married, unlike his EU counterpart.
These videos make the film so much better.
I don't know if there was a proper chance to look at the sky on Jakku, but Tattoine is a binary star system, it has two stars.
Damn....I just seen this. Even after The Last Jedi, its still seems highly likely she is a Kenobi. Makes me wanna watch all the movies again.
didn't you say she was a Palpatine? did obi wan and sidious have a love child?
That would be really crazy, I don't think my body is ready for that
Vincent Vendetta I want this to be true so much!!!!!!!!!!
yo im fuckin ready for that shit, that would help explain y she is so OP
a product of one of the strongest jedi and the strongest sith lord ever?!?!?
