  • The PCV system on my 940 has seen better days and has been the culprit behind a few oil leaks, so I decided to install a catch can to prevent it happening again!

Em, the 'O' ring needs to go on the threaded side of the coupling, it creates a seal as it tightens up to the catch can. Great vid as always, looking forward to the next

The oil breather pipes on me old trucks, i piped them in to me chassis rails, so the inside of the box section gets a luvly oil vapor mist running through it, hopefully it will prevent corrotion. Good to see mr milo in the vid. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍

Good video ☺️ I haven't thought about a catch can for my project car. 60 years old though, good if some of todays modifications can improve older cars

You've got to give Emily props for working on her own cars! Not many females do that. She probably knows more about cars than most blokes, and she's a looker 🤣

There seems to be a lot of coolant stains around the engine bay, when I've seen that before, it is often a sign that the coolant system is being pressurised by a failing head gasket. I am hoping this is not the case, obviously 🤞. Keep up the good work.

The bracket you attached the catch can to holds the A/C condenser in mine

  • @BenGrayphoto

to make the ventilation even better you'll wanna do away with the breather box entirely and get one of the adapter plates that Martin Leaf makes which allows you to run the catch can straight onto the crank case

There may still be pressure in the system...you should vent the catch can to be sure and help avoid those oil leaks. But what a trouper we have here guys! Maybe my Volvo will become more cool when she hits about 50k subscribers...

4:31 Please don't - they are just antisocial. It is a road car for going to the shops and work and it is a Volvo, they deserve more respect. Do things like that to a Clio or something no one cares about.
