It was a fantastic day, I came down with my mate in his V40, fingers crossed we get the record.

They’re still dirt cheap in the UK. Best to go for a late pre-facelift one 2003/4 the earlier ones (1999-2003) had a PCV problem which can block the oil pickup in the sump and trash the engine. The post 2005 Phase 2’s have a crappy GM inspired front end and interior. I reckon values will rise rapidly as they get rarer.
You’ll have to choose à different name from Sven though - that’s my 1999 2.0t 😂
