The mission is easy. Attract and stun the enemies. You only need a uniform and avoid gestapos.
If i remember clearly for the first France mission, in the old version, the spy is not able to crawl through the hole. Thus I always order spy enter the truck to infiltrate the train station. 😂

Can you tell me how to use tripod sub machine gun(The hot key) with green beret? The game's tutorial didn't gave me a clear idea about all the hotkeys.
Just click on tripod gun machine with left mouse key there is no hot key for that. I don't think i used the tripod machine gun in my gameplay.
Usual hotkeys i use X for auto kill mode. Hold TAB and click on enemy for his view angle. SPACE BAR for crawl mode. F for Rifle. Q for punch. You can see all the keys shortcut in the game menu and memorize it. It will take some practice. Have fun playing Commandos 🙂

as green beret, just hover your mouse to the tripod gun (probably MG42), there will be "pick up" icon on the mouse, left click and the green beret will pick it up. Now for the real part, i tried the HD remaster, didnt use the gun but i am sure it is broken, in the original game you can hold down ctrl key (very important key) as short cut for any previously selected weapon, which does not have in the HD for some reason, this is the only way to fire the MG in the old version. Another way to use the MG with the green beret is to use the auto fire function, but the range is so short that you might as well just knife people, plus its buggy and i remember the fire rate is worse than manual fire. The other way to use the MG is with the sapper, but all the level with a sapper and a functioning MG are positioned in the worst place possible, and you have less range than the enemy can detect you which is stupid. In conclusion, if you are playing on the HD, dont even try, its broken
the MG in the og version doesnt worth using anyway, in the train station is the only mission where its viable because enemy dont rush you to death like stalingrad mission2, the gun fire a 10 shots burst and will kill any enemy in the V shape similar to your auto aim/ view cone, this is the only machine gun in the game that function like this, since the submachinegun mp40 that you pick up on enemy corpses simply broken if its firing at running targets, the gun doesnt scan from the shooter to the target but simply a straight line that damage anything on it indicated by the bursts, same for you and enemies, which is why you can literally walk towards a soldier with the mp40 to punch him, while he misses all the shots(note that the machinegunner in the last normady campaign also function like your sapper with the MG, where he can kill every one if its within range). You can actually out range them using green beret and manual fire with ctrl key, which again does not have in the HD, the sapper have less range. The gun is especially buggy, any enemy that stand close to a wall or behind it will not get hit, same for any enemy on higher elevation (this bug applies to booth MP40 and the MG), theres a rare bug that if an enemy is close to wall, theres a chance that you hit them but not killing them due the half of the shot just hit the buggy map collision.and when firing theres a delay between the firing animation playing and the enemy actually starts dying, and also low firing rate, during this an enemy can rush and kill you.
@@havel6060 Thanks for reply. Everything you told was right. I know I could knife out 93% of the enemy and shoot the rest 7% of them using the normal rifle. But I just wanted green beret to grab the tripod gun give a smile like Arnold Schwarzenegger and blast that rest 7% of those enemies then I record the whole mission and upload that in youtube(Although I still can do that in the older version but the new version's graphics was really great.)

Yes, we can do it if we don't kill all the soldiers. Trying to kill everyone is more interesting.
I urge you guys to play the original version. This "remastered" version removed the swastika. I mean, WTF?

What happened at the last 2 minutes? Did you forget what you were supposed to do once inside the station building?
If I don't grab the dead soldiers, the two talking soldiers would see the dead body when I start talking to one of them. Therefore I grab those soldiers. I forgot that inside the station 🙂
