I want new version of Robin Hood in Blades of Shogun and Desperados 3 style. One of my favourite games!

@@khabao446 It was good, but I wish they would give us a remake in which characters are a lot more polyvalent than in the original game. If memory serves me correctly, we had a swarm of characters that each had just a couple of skills. At least, allow more characters to carry bodies and tie up unconscious enemies. Of course, don't make the characters too polyvalent either, as it would be game-breaking, but, at the very least, re-balance the lot.

Yeah i want blades of the shogun and desperado 3 style too, im not use to the classic style that almost 2d like style i fill very boring while playing it
Oh man, Commandos 2 is maybe one of my favourite games of all time. Masterpiece.
You should play Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, a recomendation from someone who loves Commandos saga too.
But commandos 2 HD remaster.. Have a lot of bugs.. Bad remaster.

Commandos 2, Desperado and Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood are my favorites in this list. I played three of them along with Age of Empires 1 & 2, CnC 2: Tiberian Sun and StarCraft when I was studying in Standard II. I miss those golden days! ❤️😍❤️
I think Mimimi perfected the Commandos-like genre. Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3 are simplistic in the right way and complex exactly where needed. What I disliked in Commandos sequels like inventory management, looting enemies, slow turning animation and occasional "act fast" missions just doesn't belong in this type of games.

There is an old game from 2004 called "Weird War"
It's a similar but a little bit roleplaying game playing in the WW2 era in the desert. I got it with a PC Magazine on a DVD disk. I don't know why it's not become a more popular game.
Ultra weird that Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive isn't on the list. Please, if you want a game like Desperados 3 this is the one you should try out, not Helldorado. Or play Shadow Tactics if you haven't, as it's by the same studio and also excellent. The Commandos series is also great but if you want something similar to Desperados 3 the first one and ST are your best bets.
Yeah, desperados: wanted dead or alive is even arguably better than desperados 3 after all these years. Music, beautiful 2d graphics, epic voiceover, some different gameplay moments, I dunno, it just feels more pleasing to play. Old but gold.

Helldorado is a continue of desperados 2, desperados 3 is a prequel of desperados.
Yeah, it's a bit weird to have Helldorado on here instead of Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive.

What about "Crookz - The Big Heist"? I found that a very enjoyable sneaky-realtime-tactics game with a distinct style of Ocean's Eleven in the 70s.

Played desperados 1 and 2 20 yeas ago and just finished the 3rd one, it is sad there not many games from this kind are beeing made, it is almost like playing chest, slow and tactical progress but very emercive

Made a dual boot system, Win 7 32 for older games and Win 10 64, using the integrated boot manager of Windows. Installed Robin Hood, Chicago 1930 and many more of these goldies. Every game is running w/o any probs.
All the games related with commandos are worth buying. I made reviews about commandos 2 remastered and Partisans 1941.

I hate Shadow Tactics because of no pause at all.
@@paladinofcandlekeep I don't think having the pause feature is what determines whether it's Real Time or not. I get what you are saying, but pausing literally let's you plan 1 move and that move has to be executed in real time. Also, on the hardest difficulty time does not stop in showdown mode, so does that mean players who choose the hardest difficulty are playing a Real Time Tactics game but if you play on normal mode then you are not playing an RTT?

Partisans is more action oriented. Plays like a mix of Commandos 2 and Company of Heroes with RPG elements.
Do you mean the Shadow mode, where you can plan simultaneous attacks from multiple characters? Because Shadow Tactics has that as well as Desperados 3.

well, it's stealth focused, and has many options of distracting and confusing guards. XCOM doesn't have that.

SHADOW TACTICS is not the new king, before it, there was no match of comondos series.. now my best is shadow tactics.
Commandos series is the best of all time, like no match to this series.
Especially season 2, I mean I beat the game like 10 times and I enjoy every time so I do it again.

I played the gog version of Robin Hood a few years ago and it had big performance issues with gameplay of only a few fps. In the video you see a shadow of an npc instead of the npc, so I take its still a glitchfest with poor performance on new hardware.
that shadow is not a glitch. some enemies are depicted as shadows until you go near them and discover their type.
There's actually a lot of fixes around online, this game was not made for modern hardware (and software), if you want to run this game smoothly it's still totally possible, I use a program called "dgvoodoo" for it
there are no games like Commandos 2 : Men of Courage... not even Commandos 3

I think it was intended to be a DLC for Desperados 2 (if I remember correctly some of the levels from Helldorado were in the Desperados 2 trailer) , but they upgraded it into a full game.
OMG, Hawkeye is so stereotypical and cringy. Kinda reminds me of Johnny Depp as Tonto.

Helldorado is Desperados II DLC, isn't it?
It's a stand-alone game. It has a different interface and you have more abilities when using 2 characters (you can have John and Sam fist fight everyone in an area, John and Doc attack everyone in an area with guns, Sam and Hawkeye use explosive arrows and so on).
