lol. I actually liked Dominoes before I played RDR2. Now I can safely say I'll never play Dominoes again...once you challenge 9 the game gives you nothing but tiles with 5's and 6's on them...very realistic XD

Chase 456 I got lucky and finished it in 2 hours. This gambler tho. I’ve spent at least 5 hours before finally watching this video and and rockstar not patching this out. Still have a few hours to go before completing it, but at least I don’t have to do it endlessly like before
You're not kidding! Took me 8 hours yesterday. I wanted to quit but couldn't after investing so much time. I actually figured this strat out after an NPC froze on the third game. Thank god for it otherwise I would still be at that fucking table. (Btw USED a shotgun and blew their heads off after I finally won 3 games)
I play blackjack all the time for fun, 8 was no problem at all. I played for about 15 minutes in Rhodes and got one...did some hunting... played about 20 minutes in Van Horn for the 2nd... hunted some more... then went to Blackwater and got the 3rd, 3 hit win in less than 5 minutes, and I continued playing another 10 or 15 hands. Then I tried #9... before the 1st game was over I wanted to murder my opponents and burn down Emerald Station... I haven't even bothered playing again. If this method doesn't work for me, I'm going to burn the entire state of New Hanover... So many people will die... Fuck dominoes and the asshole that created such a horrible, boring waste of time. I hope he's burning in hell and being force fed domino tiles that are marinated in tabasco sauce and stuffed inside ghost peppers...

For anyone having a hard time with this challenge i suggest that you play all fives at saint denis. It's a lot easier than the draw game at emerald ranch. I left the game anytime my opponent reached a score of 70. I finished my challenge in 4 hrs. I was looking at a 3rd win in under 2 hrs but lost the match, my opponent was at 70 and i took the risk and lost and had to start all over again.
Guys for this it helps understanding the game. I personally never played the game before but I somehow understood it instantly and I'm actually quite good I win almost every game. A good tip is to always keep and eye out for what the NPC does for example if at one end of the dominos is a 3 and the other a 6 and the NPC can't make a move then you know he doesn't have any dominos like that (unless he picks one up but as soon as he places it you know he hasn't got one again) so if you have a double 3 domnio place it! this will only cause him to pick up more dominos giving you more chance to win. Always try to block him from placing more down. a good thing also is to try get rid of blanks early and try to make each end on the table blank more than likely he will need to pick up many more dominos to try get a blank himself to put down again give you more chance.
Headshots aren't enough... burn the bodies... and the table... and every other domino table in the game... and everyone in the vicinity of every domino table in the game... and since they won't actually burn, I'm going to kill everyone I ever see sitting at a domino table thereafter... Hell hath no fury like a man forced to play the worst game ever created just so he can achieve 100% completion of the greatest game ever created.
did it in an hour and a half. you know what else i did? i developed a crippling nicotine addiction, cried twice, went through an entire bottle of sprite and then kidnapped my opponent, bob, hung him over a train track, let him wriggle out of it and watched him fall to his death. i then lit him on fire and watched in glee as his corpse charred before blowing his fucking brains out and blasting his body to kingdom come. i then went back to the stupid fucking table and blew that up too. on a brighter note, thank you for this. i probably wouldn’t have finished it if it weren’t for you.
By far one of the most difficult challenge in the entire game. After hours and hours of trying and never getting more than one consecutive win, we watched your video and got it done in a few hours - words can not express our gratitude !
This tip works. And unlike Challenge 8, you have a degree of control. 1. As stated, play only one player, because it's easier to keep track of him. 2. Total up your spots and determine if that will take your opponent over 60. 3. You don't have to win every round, you merely have to limit how many point you give away. 4. Watch his dominos. Once you have a winning streak to preserve, when he gets down to one tile, consider quitting if you can't win in the next turn and the total number of points on your tiles will take him over the 60 point line.

Method works, however this challenge requires patience n some thinking in order to win matches, don't go blind just putting dominoes on the table, look for the number your opponent is missing, close his/their doorways, get ride of the doubles as soon as u can, u don't wanna keep a domino that gives u only one number possibility.
I'm so glad you mention "you can not save your game, it will reset the challenge" I found this out the hard way having won 2 in a row, saving my game, coming back the next day, and it had reset! Thanks for this video...

Took me around 4 hours to get 8 done, went off expecting the same here but I was surprised it only took 2 hours to get both 9 & 10 done, but that was with zero loses, literally spawned at emerald ranch, got lucky with only one guy at the table and easily won the first two rounds, the last took around an hour or longer but got there in the end 👌
I really cannot thank enough to guys like you who put these kind of videos online to cure R* cancer with these challenges. Will give it a try. Definitely a life saver. Eventhough it takes me also 6 or 8 hours like Doctor Perry mentioned before. It's definitely gonna be way less that doing it the standard way.

I tried to beat this challenge playing "All Fives" I also used the same method with leaving when I was about to lose. I won the first 2 within 15 minutes but couldn't get the third win for hours. Then i found out about this location for dominos and got the third win first try. This was definitely the most frustrating one so far!! Just wish i went to Emerald Station sooner 😂 oh well....

Id rather watch paint dry then 100% this game ever again. The game stopped being fun weeks ago. Now its just a obligation that i can't wait to be over.
The trick is after beating this you stand up take out a dynamite or a molotov cocktail depending on your mood and throw it at the table and laugh manically.

After going through the gambler challenges just cuz they were easy and I like how the off hand holster (requiring challenge 10 to have) looks “cool”. That’s it. Over a stupid holster that looks cool I’m playing hours of dominoes which I never played IRL. Fuck me, fuck this, but you? You my good sir get a sub.
This nothing compared to the 7 levels of hell of the Gambler 8 challenge. I tried for hours over several days over the course of a week or two. Then BAM! All of sudden I got all 3 5+ card wins in 2 hours one evening.
Dude, same lol. Gambler 8 made me rage quit the game for a few months after spending 2-3 hours for a few days not getting one hand. I got on today, and was able to beat the challenge in about an hour. This game is weird lol
Try achieving Gambler 7, triggering it complete, getting the $15 bonus and then finding out you’ve wasted four hours for nothing because when you next visit the game, it still says 2 of 3 😡
I finally beat this challenge after replaying story. Easiest way is Saint Denis, you can still leave table without resetting challenge. I did challenge 9 and 10 in one evening. Finally 100% 😉
Worst part is it still takes forever even when I do win a round they only have one or two tiles and I only get a couple of points so it takes like 30 mins jsut to finish one game
They key is to wear the gambit outfit. I completed challenge 8, 9 and 10 within 3 hours. Before that I wasn't that lucky without the outfit. You guys can thank me later.
@@erasentialz1147 Go to Rhodes and select the 'Gambit outfet'. The name itself will spawn. Many other tried this method and it worked. Its a silly trick from Rockstar.
I actually thought about trying this out before I found your video but being too afraid of losing my progress I actually never tried... until I spend 2h+ trying to do this challenge in one go with at my best 2 wins out of 3 to just pathetically lose the two or three opportunities to win the third game until I had to sleep. This was the hardest one for you, the blackjack one took me a couple of hours because it’s all chance, but this one you could just leave whenever you’re close to leaving.
Thanks for this video! Using this method I was able to finally do this challenge. Took over 3 hours but now it's done and I don't ever wanna play domino or even see a freacking domino tile in my life. After finally winning my first game, I got the second pretty fast but the third one took ages. I swear I played the same game for about 40 minutes before finally beating the guy. It was crazy, I started the third game and won the first game, got 14 points, won the second and I had 54 points in total, then I kept losing the rounds and the opponent started to get closer and closer. I swear every time I won a round I only got 1 or 2 points and I almost left the game thinking I was gonna lose but I took a risk and won.

Dominos ... not that hard. Play your tiles with high pips first. If you do lose a round, you’re only giving up a few points at a time.

Challenge 8 is most annoying took me hours to win 3 with 3 hits of the card.

Took me around 4 hours to get 8 done, went off expecting the same here but I was surprised it only took 2 hours to get both 9 & 10 done, but that was with zero loses, literally spawned at emerald ranch, got lucky with only one guy at the table and easily won the first two rounds, the last took around an hour or longer but got there in the end 👌
I really cannot thank enough to guys like you who put these kind of videos online to cure R* cancer with these challenges. Will give it a try. Definitely a life saver. Eventhough it takes me also 6 or 8 hours like Doctor Perry mentioned before. It's definitely gonna be way less that doing it the standard way.

I tried to beat this challenge playing "All Fives" I also used the same method with leaving when I was about to lose. I won the first 2 within 15 minutes but couldn't get the third win for hours. Then i found out about this location for dominos and got the third win first try. This was definitely the most frustrating one so far!! Just wish i went to Emerald Station sooner 😂 oh well....
Just so you know, this video is still helpful for people who slacked off on playing this game for so many years. Love RDR2 so much but man, like you said, this challenge is the worst haha! Thank you!

The trick is after beating this you stand up take out a dynamite or a molotov cocktail depending on your mood and throw it at the table and laugh manically.

After going through the gambler challenges just cuz they were easy and I like how the off hand holster (requiring challenge 10 to have) looks “cool”. That’s it. Over a stupid holster that looks cool I’m playing hours of dominoes which I never played IRL. Fuck me, fuck this, but you? You my good sir get a sub.

This nothing compared to the 7 levels of hell of the Gambler 8 challenge. I tried for hours over several days over the course of a week or two. Then BAM! All of sudden I got all 3 5+ card wins in 2 hours one evening.
Dude, same lol. Gambler 8 made me rage quit the game for a few months after spending 2-3 hours for a few days not getting one hand. I got on today, and was able to beat the challenge in about an hour. This game is weird lol
I finished gambler 8 in about 15 minutes. Not sure if they changed the black jack gamemode or if im incredibly lucky.
Try achieving Gambler 7, triggering it complete, getting the $15 bonus and then finding out you’ve wasted four hours for nothing because when you next visit the game, it still says 2 of 3 😡

I finally beat this challenge after replaying story. Easiest way is Saint Denis, you can still leave table without resetting challenge. I did challenge 9 and 10 in one evening. Finally 100% 😉
I managed to win 2 games and when I was about to win the third one a train ran over my horse and I had to load the game.....smh
At that point, take the fucking win and leave the horse lol

Worst part is it still takes forever even when I do win a round they only have one or two tiles and I only get a couple of points so it takes like 30 mins jsut to finish one game

They key is to wear the gambit outfit. I completed challenge 8, 9 and 10 within 3 hours. Before that I wasn't that lucky without the outfit. You guys can thank me later.

@@erasentialz1147 Go to Rhodes and select the 'Gambit outfet'. The name itself will spawn. Many other tried this method and it worked. Its a silly trick from Rockstar.

I actually thought about trying this out before I found your video but being too afraid of losing my progress I actually never tried... until I spend 2h+ trying to do this challenge in one go with at my best 2 wins out of 3 to just pathetically lose the two or three opportunities to win the third game until I had to sleep. This was the hardest one for you, the blackjack one took me a couple of hours because it’s all chance, but this one you could just leave whenever you’re close to leaving.

Thanks for this video! Using this method I was able to finally do this challenge. Took over 3 hours but now it's done and I don't ever wanna play domino or even see a freacking domino tile in my life. After finally winning my first game, I got the second pretty fast but the third one took ages. I swear I played the same game for about 40 minutes before finally beating the guy. It was crazy, I started the third game and won the first game, got 14 points, won the second and I had 54 points in total, then I kept losing the rounds and the opponent started to get closer and closer. I swear every time I won a round I only got 1 or 2 points and I almost left the game thinking I was gonna lose but I took a risk and won.
