Fascinating, simple combination ending in an exemplary stitch.
I will use this stitch in a blanket of large blocks using two colors (autumn red and cream flecked with grey) but various stitch combinations (alpine, suzette, and possibly basketweave stitch - 3rd stitch to be determined).

Okay so in 2nd row u finish with just a single crochet. Does that mean that every other row is going to finish with one single crochet and not a dc that follows ?

Very nice, are we to do the stitches in multiples of 26 to make a big blanket.
