@@buddyscavo9462 oh didn’t know they made that. That’s even better. Does it leave a glossy or dull finish because I’ve noticed some sealers can dull the sparkle. No bueno🙁
@@shereness3235 i just bought 3 bottles of it, it hasn't arrived yet, but all the videos on it on youtube and all reviews about it are great...So i'm soooo excited to try it on my silver charger plates i bought just in time for X'mas :) Just check out reviews on it, it looks gorgeous :)
You can also use craft paint of the color you want your vase and dont have to use glue and then sprinkle your glitter. Example silver paint with silver glitter.

Absolutely Beautiful! Just A Few Crafting Tips: Part of the Video your arm was in the way. Wearing a Short Sleeved T-shirt would be good as well. Sweaters love to Glom onto Glitter. You might want to put newspaper underneath so that you can Pour the Access back into the Container....less waste. Just Saying. Good Job. God Bless You & Stay Safe!😊

Hi Paulette!! Thank you so much for coming by and I'm so glad you like the vase. The Krylon is a spray paint. I usually wait about 48 hours and then I spray it on. I do two coats and make sure to let it dry for at least an hour in between coats. Thanks again Happy Holidays to you!!

Hi Mansi! You can seal the glitter after it dries with another layer of Mod Podge (the kind meant to use on fabrics) or you can spray it with the spray version of Mod Podge.

Hello!! It's standard 10.5 inch Ginger Jar vase. I usually find them at my local thrift shop. if you don't have a thrift shop near by you also buy them on line. Thanks for watching and please have a great week.
I always go to use hairspry to keep th glitter on but i forget i useually just put more modpoge over it if u google it how to seal glitter u will fine it😊😊😊😊

Can I go over the first glitter coat with a second coat of glue and glitter before sealing it or will that make the vase look lumpy/weird?

Hi Gabb! So once it drys, you can fill in spots that are too thin. But l wouldn't do another full coat. That would make it a bit too lumpy. I learned that painting the inside of the vase with a paint color the same as the glitter lm using, is the best way to disguise any thin areas.

After we apply glitter and let it dry . What do we use to seal it? Anyone’s free to answer please. I’m using flower pots and mod Podge and glitter I let dry now what do I use over the glitter to seal it?
Claudia l spray mine with Krylon clear coat gloss. I let the glitter dry at 24 hours. Then l stay the entire thing with the coat l know some use hair spray. But for me that's makes it to sticky.
Mod Podge also makes a spray sealer as well. The only negative I find is it can sometimes dull the luster from your piece so don’t over spray.

I find if you use a paint sponge instead of the brush you get a more even coverage of the glue every time and no brush streaks in it either.
Hi Terri! I think you're right. I did try a paint sponge on another vase and it didn't come out quite right. But I think I messed up by wetting the sponge first which made the whole application a bit sloppy. I may try the sponge again because I like the idea of not having the brush streaks. Hi Sylvia!! I purchase my brushes at Walmart or Jo-Anne Fabrics. The brushes from Walmart cost less and are great for Mod Podge. You can also use a sponge applicator like the kind you find at Dollar Tree. Thanks again and please have a great day!!

My vase is large with pink on it, how do I take it off to çreate what you have
Hello Armegine! Is it painted? You can sometimes remove the paint with a with a brillo pad. But you know what I go to thrift shops to find my vases. If you can find a clear glass vase that would be best. That might be even easier then trying to remove the paint from your pink vase. I hope that helps. @@DIYDesignByCCW thank you so much. It was painted inside. So I took a can of oven cleaner. The next day I checked on it and thought oh well it didn't work. So i began rinsing it out. And flakes of pink was floating around in the water. I was really happy about it because it's a beautiful vase. Thank you for your time and you do beautiful work.
My concern is, you have to be able to seal it so the glitter does not flake off all over the place. How can you put on a sealer that won't dim the glitter and cause it not to sparkle.
