I own 3 CO2 regulators, the UNS Pro one, the Aquarium Coop one, and the CO2 art one. Each has their own benefits and drawbacks, the Aquarium Coop one is inexpensive but difficult to adjust and feels low quality. The CO2 art one is amazing in regards to adjustment and quality but it is relatively expensive and cannot have additional manifolds added. The UNS Pro one is very similar to the Landen one in regards to ease of adjustment and having the ability to add more manifolds but unlike the Landen one the UNS Pro CO2 regulator is painfully expensive. Based on this review I will likely try out the Landen one next. I am curious to confirm if this regulator is dual stage to prevent CO2 dump, the Amazon listing states dual gauge which is not necessarily the same thing as dual stage, the listing did say that the awesome CO2 release valve would activate at 145 psi which may serve the same function as the dual stage but I am not knowledgeable enough to know that for certain. Thank you for the quality review, you covered the aspects of a CO2 regulator that are important with the only thing that could be improved being a discussion of the dual stage aspect.
Thank you for the comment. I do feel that out of all the ones I personally own, the LANDEN takes the cake. Wait till you FEEL that needle valve! 🤘 I don’t have a way to test if it is truly dual stage so I apologize for not covering that aspect of the regulator.
Very interesting and informative video about CO2 regulators! Congratulations! Overall, your channel is one of the most interesting in the aquarium hobby. Keep up the great work! Wishing you all the best! :)
If you lower your working pressure, it's easier to adjust your bubbles per second rate. Common sense would tell you that. Try dropping it to 20psi instead of 30psi

Understood. The needle valves on lower end regulators is still very sticky though I think your suggestion would help. 🤘
