I am so glad you did this season. This has been the most comprehensive look this game has and will ever have in terms of a retrospective. And it is good to have it cemented in Zelda history like that.
I appreciate that you give each game its due, even smaller games like this one. This series has given me a greater appreciation for what was already one of my favorite game series. That being said, I'm very ready to go back to one of the bigger games like Wind Waker.
So glad to learn all these details behind Four Swords, it was one of the few Zelda games I never had a chance to play. Interested to see how you'll feel about Minish Cap, as I played only that one and didn't realize how many direct similarities there were!
Four Swords did a lot for the series. Also a very underrated game, in my opinion. Ahh, Wind Waker! It was such a contentious title when it came out! Can't wait!
When you mentioned Zelda games with sky regions, I think you missed Twilight Princess and it's dungeon in the sky... but since that involved the Ooca I can see why. Anyway, this was a very interesting deep dive into a title that, frankly speaking, I'm unlikely to ever play myself. It really feels like the game shines in multiplayer, even if it also looked like the online for NSO is... less than stellar. Though I do feel tempted to play it just to go through that accompanying super-dungeon for Link to the Past. That was the very first Zelda-game I ever played, and while the promise of an even tougher dungeon than any I've played before sounds tempting... going through Four Swords just for that dungeon might be more time than I'm willing to spend. So it's nice to see someone out there dedicate time to it and show me the "new" bosses. Looking forward to next episode, as Wind Waker is sadly a game that passed me by when I moved from N64 to PS2 back in the day. It'll be fun to finally see what I've been missing out on!
So... I was too confused and stressed to play LOZMM, so i looked up podcasts, and the only thing that was on yt misic were playthroughs and this, and i would much rather have a podcast with someone talking ghrough than... Playthroughs. I've listened to most every one ever since. Thank you so much for putting through that anxiety for me! (No better way to word it 🫠🫠)
So happy you tackled these games
Underrated video and channel

Cool to return to a 3D game next week 😃

Legendary Adventures drop on Dec 25 and Wind Waker next week? Merry Christmas and happy New Year to me!

excited for wind waker, but I enjoyed your play through here
Four Swords legacy can be summed up pretty quickly: Everyone had it, yet nobody played it.
Gosh, that is such a brilliant phrase I'm surprised I never heard it years ago.
Omg a Christmas gift!!
