Took a 30 second process and turned it into a feature length video...Hollywood is calling!
+Lorenzo Garza yeah, I gave up watching after fast forwarding through the first 4 minutes and he was still talking about how to tie strings together....smh

And apparently you have to break the molly stick to “?use?” them. So then they are broken and you can’t use them. ;)
@@brettsilva7317 I don't think he means break in damaging it but to snap it a certain way to enable quick release. Basically it's unsnapping it.
I didn't realize I was on the cutting edge of this technology. I bought a fist full of these a couple of months ago along with some Vanquest pouches. I didn't know they break open like that. This video was a good find.
Most of my gear comes with the MOLLE button strap already attached for weaving, but this looks easier to use than the MALICE clip I have one some. This unique like you say! Very cool - something to consider for future gear. Thanks!
I've been running a set since November and haven't had any issues. ~ Bryan
Most do, but having a dedicated sewn on option limits options on a field replacement if necessary. That's why we originally went with MALICE Clips. The Molly Stix are an even better option for some because they provide a quick disconnect. ~ Bryan
I too will use these for my IFAKs. Easier and more quiet than Velcro panels. Endless possibilities with this product.
Wow, this look very promising. Specially for guys like me that switch pouches around from pack to pack all the time. But do you guys happen to know how well they last on the long term?
Wow, I really like those. I'm often switching pouches between multiple vests for the task at hand; these may be the ticket to make it easier.
We're offering it as an option, not as a replacement yet for the MALICE clips we include on the ETA Kit Pouch. Thanks! ~ Bryan
Nice! been looking for a solution for molly quick release. I like the Tall Boy BOK packaging as well. Seems I've found the solution I've been looking for.
I guess you can say you're.....popping mollies YYYYYEAAAAAHHHHHH
MOLL E MOLL E MOLL E MOLL E
So let me get this straight.... By pulling BOTH cords, the 2 that are tied together will break them away??? And then you are left holding the sticks you just pulled on? That are tied together? I think you said they are tied together right? The bag just falls away when you pull BOTH cords that are tied together? Hopefully I got that correctly
YES! i was looking for a system like this now that you are going to be offering this with your IFAK i will be buying yours.
One thing I thought of was to tie the release cord onto the med pouch itself. This would allow you to pull the Stix and keep the pouch in your hand at the same time instead of the pouch dropping to the ground or having to try and use your other hand.
Same. Or use blackhawk quick sticks with cordage and disable the hook at one end.
For the record, I have been sailing for 20 years and never heard anyone use that pronunciation for a bowline. We all say 'bolun'.
Do you guys use official Multicam fabric? The coloring on the webbing just seems to be much more colored, whereas the fabric of the actual pouch seems like it's been sitting in the sun for a year...
Another incredible upgrade
It could, but you'd have to cut off the existing straps, just like with using MALICE clips. ~ Bryan
Thats awesome, could it work somehow if your bag to be mounted already has the molle straps attatched? I really like this idea tho
Are you guys going to be offering them in different lengths than the ones in teh VIdeo?
What sizes and colors do they come in? I only see 5" coyote brown on the website and am hoping there are some 3" and 7" sizes too. Black or green would be nice...
Instead of all the untying and retying just try using the existing loops and doing a girth hitch - one to the other.
How easy is it to get them sent to Australia? or is there a supplier here?
if only you made a quick attach
Seems like the malice are still better for some pouches than others
what is the durability of the molle sticks would they be up for abuse like being stepped on by accident or the add on pouch being snagged/caught on something etc...
May be a dumb question, but why would you not just include button down straps to the back of the trauma kit that weave into the MOLLE? Is there a reason pouches you attach to MOLLE don't just come with straps already on them? I know some do, but some don't. Can someone fill me in here?
I would suggest to put a hole at the bottom of the Molle Stick and attach a line to it that is long enough to just weave the line through the Molle Straps and then simply pull the entire Molle Stick through quicker.
Very convenient=) Great vid. Thank you
Do you think there is a way to mount this either on the back of my plate carrier or belt and use these as a quick release to access it from there.
These are awesome.
Is it possible to buy these sticks by using paypal? I don't have a credit card, but i want to buy some of these Molly Stix.
greetings from germany
has anyone tried using this or something similar to make the Haley strategic flat pack if it's attached to a plate carrier on the back? got a flat pack and have it fastened to my carrier but would like to be able to quickly remove it if needed any advice suggestion welcome thanks.
Would these work for a tight securing method to Alice packs for molle pouches?
Hi , there is something I don't understand -.- , normally all pouches made for the molle system are made with normal clasping , so why use these ?
These are for pouches without the standard MOLLE, for example companies like ITS, Tactical Tailor, Mil-spec Monkey, they use MALICE clips which can be moved or taken out and these are a somewhat better solution. I find MALICE clips quite the B*tch. xD
777Zubi It depends on the brand, Believe it or not some gear comes with no clasping. Its just a way to make extra money because the fast clips cost around 30-40 bucks. Double the money spent by the consumer smart business wise stupid consumer wise.
The bowline knot originated as the end knots on a longbow string, so pronounced bo...
Have you utilized these with any Hazard 4 pouches?
I carry the fatboy in the 6 o'clock position on my war belt. The fat boy seems to be the perfect kit other than the fact that I really can't get to it in a fast efficient manner. Its a little difficult to tear away the molly stix. If I'm losing blood, don't know if I would be able to exert the necessary energy to release the stix
Im afraid a Good Samaritan wouldn't know how to disengage the pouch from my war belt for best access to now work on me.
Any suggestions?
I suggest you could maybe get someone to embroider a patch to incorporate on the pull cord, stating "PULL" or "PULL FOR QUICK RELEASE" or wording along those lines.

Or instead of breaking the molly stix you could just use the regular molle attachment and just cut the pouch off. Boom quick release. That way you don’t have to buy the ITS molly stix and then proceed to break them. Or you could buy the Vanquest Molle Sticks that have a release mechanism built in so you don’t have to “break” them.
Am I Right??!
Also there is no sarcasm in this comment.
I'd rather just use these instead of malice clips on nearly everything haha. way easier. seems to be just as secure.
what watch is that? is that an add on compass on the side?
cabela's sells them
Nice product, but way to expensive. I can get 6 Blackhawk! Speed Clips for $1 more at lapolicegear than your 2 MOLLE Stix. Lower your price or do a pack of like 4 for the same price and I'd buy them.
$5.99 for a pair on our Website store. ~ Bryan
Inter-loop them together without having to use a single piece and they do the nunckaku thing.
These are the same exact clips in the back of the new iotvs
8:10 Nice demo...Thanks for posting ;-))
Draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw it out, bro...
...BOWline... *runs away laughing*
He ALWAYS says that the pronunciation doesn't matter, and that everyone knows what he's talking about. How would he feel if we all said "IT'S" Tactical as the name of his business? I think he'd be a little more upset. Believe it or not, it's that combination of arrogance and ignorance that's kept me from watching any of his vids for a LONG time (I followed a link here before I realized it was from IT'S Tactical!
UpstateSC Couple yeah basically says he knows that he is saying it wrong and doesn’t care. Ignorance is bliss, apparently?
Molle Stix do not work with Tall Boy.
Funny that they first do away with the A.L.I.C.E. clips (which were an already attached clip system on pouches) and now introduce these clips as an option...go's to show what a stupid system Molle is !
they have to use MALICE clips and things such as this because the MOLLE sticks you see on USGI pouches is a copyright of Natick labs, so most of these civilian gear companies can't use them, so there needs to be an after market attachment system. MOLLE isn't stupid. ALICE clips are stupid.
Thank you for correctly pronouncing bowline since its origins are, in fact, historically nautical.
It's 2021, and the 2012 link is DEAD...
Mine broke the second time i used them. They’re shit. They don’t hold for shit either. Junk
ITS tactical, you seem to often have problems showing your actions while demonstrating a product. As silly is it might sound, I suggest you use illustrations, they are much simpler and easier to understand.
Bowline.
Everyone who has any military experience knows that your Med kit is for YOU.. Not for someone else! Dont give upnyour life saving equip for someone else. Major No No!!!!!
Oh boy more hard plastic that is uncomfortable.
Skip to 4:21 to skip the BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.
Crappy system
But if you keep breaking your molle stick, then you have to keep buying new sticks to replace the broken ones. Bad system.
I guess you can say you're.....popping mollies YYYYYEAAAAAHHHHHH
