I just got a new plate carrier and have never used the MOLLE system, and noticed that the magazine pouches weren't fixed to the main vest very well, so one quick search here on UA-cam, and I found this great guide. Very clear and straightforward explanation!
Worked great for attaching a GR1 Field Pocket to my 10L Bullet. Since both were fairly new, it took a bit of effort to do the final tucks. Now I have the perfect place for my binos on day hikes. I'll continue to use my Rucker with plates for daily training.
Great video! All my previous MOLLE pouches had snaps on their straps. My new pouch doesn't and I couldnt figure out what to do with the end of the straps :)
I followed all the instructions affixing the admin pouch molle, went to swing the pack around and put it on and the entire thing fell off my back ... forget to attach the shoulder straps.
Glad I found this, I just bought a crappy strap/buckle set to mount my trauma kit to my backpack with, and the straps don't grab the buckles, thought I was gonna go buy some thread and needles.
Keep in mind that the MOD straps for some PALS webbing is very stiff so don't be afraid to muscle it a bit to bench it so it can weave through the PALS properly
I wasn't looking for this information, but I happen to have some old military-style packs and I always wondered what was the deal with all those flush loops. Now I know.
non-standard molle spacing makes it incompatible with other molle products. they want you to only but their pouches. this really pissed me off when i found that out.
Alvin Kang if you don’t want to ad a porch or mag pouches it’ll allow you to put patches like the American flag and stuff also some pouches and Mille attachments have Velcro for a little extra grip
I just received a backpack I bought from Amazon with a MOLLE system, and I realize that I'm definitely going to have to figure out how *I* like to do it, and I'm also going to piss so many people off with my way of doing it. Lol, sorry, not sorry! 😆
Snaps are unnecessary and don't work that well over time, they corrode etc. This is my experience with all my old MOLLE equipment. With GORUCK's, there is a 0% chance that if you weave our MOLLE gear in, that it will come lose. And then, there is nowhere for the end of it to go because it tucks in perfectly - hence making the snaps obsolete. --jason
It's just me or this molle system seems not practical at all? It's cumbersome, it add a lot of weight, and you don't really take advantage of modularity since the attach/detach process is slow and complicated.
Kool video but I can hardly believe that people couldn't figure this out with not so common sense? I PRETTY much just looked at my first molle pouches and my first mole compatible backpack and just weaved my straps in and snapped the snaps??
what a pain in the ass...that is all they could come up with?......you did not put that on upside down?.........I would love to see a competition of people doing it blind folded

Just the video I'm looking for. Great tutorial for attaching molle pouches without those snap buttons.
Just got a GR1 field pouch for my new GR1. Love the lack of buttons on the molle. So much easier, and just as secure. Well done GoRuck.

Thank you so much! You're right to the point and explained it very clearly!

Great video! The quick and smooth demo are vey showing your skill!
Short and to the point. Great video. This was very helpful

Very helpful for trying to set all my dry bags up together. Thank you!
Bad ass!
I spent 20 min trying to attach my molle, and finally had to UA-cam it lol. Damn
Thanks!
You must be special
Can u add molle shoulder pockets to a modern non millitary type rucksack?
non-standard molle spacing makes it incompatible with other molle products. they want you to only but their pouches. this really pissed me off when i found that out.
No way is that right?! That would be very disappointing
Thank you, this will assist me with setting up my plate carrier.
FINNALLY ! I was blind but now I seen. Actually ashamed I couldn't figure it out in my own
Excellent.
Thank you.
Sweet! Was looking at the hip belt….now I know how to attach it!
Awesome presentation!!!
Great video. I learned something new today.
what is the point of the velcro on the part that threads through the molle webbing?
Alvin Kang if you don’t want to ad a porch or mag pouches it’ll allow you to put patches like the American flag and stuff also some pouches and Mille attachments have Velcro for a little extra grip
Can you attach a MOLLE canteen pouch to a pistol belt?
I am a walking toolkit / wannabe gearhead, and I did not know how this system worked!
Superb VIDEO. Thank you so much.
Thank you Sir !
Very well done to the point video.

Most of the MOLLE straps have snaps but I kinda like version
Awesome video, 😀
very well explained, thx!
Needing a MOLLE how to video is like the need for instructions on a pop tart box 😂😂😂🇺🇸🇺🇸
lol I agree. I was thinking if you need this video you probably don't need to mess with anything that has molle for any reason
I once saw a vid on UT on how to fill up a Zippo lighter 🫤
Sehr schönes Video, vielen dank.
I used to pronounce it mole like the underground rodent
I had the same problem. No need to be ashamed lol.
I still do!
😂 I had only heard it so I assumed it was spelled "Molly".
I pronounce it like moll lay
lol I love it
I love the porch, but I feel it sacrifices a detachability and portability a bit.
Nice, THANKS 😊
Wow. I never realized that there was a purpose for those strips on backpacks
Brilliant. Thanks for this great video.
Thanks from a Navy guy who may have well tried to solve a Rubics cube.
Does it work with Alice clips?
Your gonna need to get a Alice to molle adapter they aren’t that expensive check out eBay
tnx!
So cool thanks
Thanks bro.
Unfortunately my favorite Platapus pack predates Molle attachments :(
all of my molle gear uses snaps at the end of the straps

Finally I can cater to my feminine side of weaving xD
Instructions Unclear. Dick is now stuck in barrel of a 50BMG.
I like my snaps
SPASIBO/ ZOV
They're like lego
Прицепились к этой насчастной Молли...
А она такая хрупкая ....

MOLLE = Learn how to weave :-D
Очень долго и для кого? Для умоотсталых.

That does seem kind of time consuming though
no wonder everything fell off

It's the best ever created.
I agree... it's overly complicated. I could just imagine soldiers in combat " hold on guys... I need twenty minutes to attach my shit to my bag".
thank you! 😃
Thanks buddy
