Great video! You can add a pack of the cheap Ramen noodles without the seasoning packet on top of the water and the veggies on top. Cook for same time. Now you have a full meal 😋
Yes! Potatoes take a little longer to cook though, so just follow the instructions in my Instant Pot baby potatoes video: ua-cam.com/video/k2ENucNugMY/v-deo.html (you can put all the veggies together with potatoes and spinach)
Because water is added to the Instant Pot with the vegetables, and if I season before cooking water will dilute the seasonings. So I season afterwards after the water is drained.
lost about half the seasoning in the wind 🌬🧂🤣 good video tho, I was watching others and wondering how the vegetables would turn out without using a steam basket.
Steam feature automatically defaults to "2 minutes" cooking time. Best to set manual at "0" minutes. Also best to use a steamer basket to keep food out of the water.
Sorry it didn't work out. It shouldn't matter if you use the whole bag or half. If you like your veggies crispier, I recommend getting an air fryer, check out my video for air fryer frozen veggies here: ua-cam.com/video/S60ZLRFiOAU/v-deo.html
It’s labeled correctly. Stir fry vegetables refers to type of frozen veggies that are best for stir fries. If you’d like to actually fry veggies in the Instant Pot, open the lid, press Sautee button on the Instant pot, coat the bottom of the pot with oil, wait a few minutes till it heats, add the veggies and cook, stirring every 30 seconds, until tender. Good luck!
props for the tutorial but I tried it and came out like sh, no taste, the veggies were like dead 😂 better cook it in a pan, it's not that comfy but they'll taste better

Thanks Janine! I love the ramen noodles idea! 👍
Uh how can you have a meal without protein?
GENIUS
@@ramblin_man23 Because there's protein in vegetables and in pasta.

Thank you, I just heard about zero minte in the IP last week and was looking for someone who used this on frozen veggies and they didn't turn to mush.
Glad it was helpful! Yes zero minute is a great technique for instant pot veggies!
@@MelanieCooksRecipes I also used it the other night to reheat some take out that had veggies in the mix and it worked great.
I'm glad I can do this without using a steam basket.
Thats it wow sane for all veggies like frozen green beans, corn, carrots and peas this is so eaay
Yes super easy, Instant pot will cook them all together
Great video as usual! Can I also add spinach and baby potatoes with these vegetables?
Yes! Potatoes take a little longer to cook though, so just follow the instructions in my Instant Pot baby potatoes video: ua-cam.com/video/k2ENucNugMY/v-deo.html (you can put all the veggies together with potatoes and spinach)

It's this exact model: amzn.to/4aR1mF3 (affiliate link)
@@MelanieCooksRecipes Thank u ❤️
how do you know when it's done cooking? Is there a sound, an indication of some sort?
Mine beeps when it's done cooking
What if you are making Asian curry, at what point would I add the frozen vegetables?
Last 5 minutes of cooking
@@MelanieCooksRecipes Thanks
1/4 cup water is good. The frozen veggies have some water.
Yes I made it with less water too, it works!
Why do you season after cooking?
Because water is added to the Instant Pot with the vegetables, and if I season before cooking water will dilute the seasonings. So I season afterwards after the water is drained.
Thank you!

Running to Krogers to get some frozen veggies...while pot roast is going through natural steam down
Awesome! Hope you enjoy! 😋😋

Is instant pot safe does it cause fire burn ?
Yes it's safe, Instant Pot is an electrical appliance that's plugged into an outlet, it doesn't have open fire
Can you lit same time stove and stant pot or near stove can you put and cook how about if you don’t know bottoms? Thank you so much
@@abdimohamud4604 you should put Instant Pot on the counter, away from the stove
If away little bit the stove on and instant pot on is that fine do have video how use thank you so much
@@abdimohamud4604 it's fine. I don't have video on how to use Instant Pot, if you search UA-cam there are many by other people
Why don’t you use the steam feature?
I never tried using the steam feature and don't even know how it work, I always use the manual Pressure Cook function
Steam feature automatically defaults to "2 minutes" cooking time. Best to set manual at "0" minutes. Also best to use a steamer basket to keep food out of the water.

where the chicken at?
Lol you can add cooked chopped chicken to the veggies once they are cooked 😀
The veggies came out super mushy. Is it because I didn’t use the whole bag?
Sorry it didn't work out. It shouldn't matter if you use the whole bag or half. If you like your veggies crispier, I recommend getting an air fryer, check out my video for air fryer frozen veggies here: ua-cam.com/video/S60ZLRFiOAU/v-deo.html
No it comes out super mushy if you don't have a steam trivet
I searched Google for how to stir-fry vegetables in my instant pot. You need to label your videos better

Sorry you didn’t like them. You can add your choice of seasonings or sauces so they are not bland, these taste like plain steamed veggies
I can smell the boiled broccoli from here🤢
