Indeed, it’s vital that Jews never forget their history in order to find the fuel to keep fighting for their right to have the State of Israel. And all the newcomers, who arrived later (half or more Palestinian refugees of 1948 came to Palestine in the years 1918-1948 as a work immigrants because the Jewish settlers came and dramatically improved local economy) may resettle back in any of 22 Arab countries.

I am a Palestinian, I am 19 years old and my grandfather was among the people who were displaced in 1948 from a city called Safed in northern Palestine. He sat down with and told me the whole story. And I have to say, Israel is really trying its absolute best to alter the past and try to hide what it did. He had a house there where my family lived and now we have no idea what happened to it, I would assume it was demolished so some Settlers could rebuild a better house in its place.
They can never hide it, despite their best efforts. People are realizing their treacherous ways every day.

Mi padre tenía 8 años cuando la familia tuvo que dejar su ciudad natal para refugiarse en Cisjordania. Viendo estos testimonios lo recuerdo cuando nos contó esta trágica experiencia. Con los años emigró a Perú, conoció a mamá y formó nuestra familia. Solo retornó a Palestina, y de visita, muchos años después (por tema económico), en el 2000, 2010 (con mamá) y el 2016, en que pudo despedirse de sus hermanos y la familia. Meses después falleció. Y aunque murió en Perú, él siempre manifestó su deseo de ser enterrado en la tierra que lo vio nacer. Yace al lado de mamá que falleció poco tiempo antes que él.

Seing Palestine before 1948 was so developed. Im from Malaysia, 1948 we still living in huts (wooden house)and many of our grandparents couldn’t even afford a pair of slippers to school. Back then having slippers were luxury (from autobiography of 2nd Malaysian PM Tun Abdul Razak). But Palestine MasyaAllah..vibrant and peaceful and advanced. May Allah give victory to Palestine!

This reminds me of the stories my Cherokee great-grandmother told me of her family's forced relocation to the reservation. The Native Americans lost their land and rights. Heartbreaking!

These Arab immigrants didn't even exist in the region up until the Islamic occupation in the 7th century.

None of us could visit Palestine, we are prohibited by Israel. I read some of stories from actual people who experience those, very sad and understand the pain since we just become independence few decades ago. Born and grew in Indonesia, I have more balance news from both side, and most of us know what really happened.
Palestine was the first one who acknowledge Indonesian independence and chip in some money to donated to first indonesian president. One day you will be independent like before, and hopefully all of you will be happy, if not now, later in after life. Nothing you said makes any sense at all. Palestine was a British mandate area at the time of indonesian Independence. The PLO declared palestinian independence in 1988. How exactly was a "Palestine" the first to acknowledge your independence? And what the heck do you mean by 'one day you will be independant like before'. It's never been independant. So the Philistines are the indigenous historically. The Romans changed the name from Jueda back to Palestine (Philistine). And the Palestinians were converted to Islam and they were the last ones to live there for 1000 years. My grandmother was born in Indur, in a small village that doesn't exist anymore.. she left the village with her family in 1948 because they heard from the people about massacres and that the Israeli army where killing people in the near, she lived her life in Jordan.. when she was over 50, my grandfather and she were able to get a visa to visit "Is.rael".. but there was not much left. They turned the village into a cow farm.. She brought with her a rose branch and planted it in her garden.. In 2012, my grandmother passed away with her story not being documented... it is a nice project...!! 👌

Thank you for making this video. A lot of what has happened in Palestine in the past has gone under my radar until now unfortunately. I remember visting Jerusalem and it angering me so much seeing the IDF on the streets, at the gates of Masjid Al-Aqsa ... But being younger when a lot of the bigger conflicts happened i guess i almost felt a bit resigned to everything growing up in the post 9/11 western world and didnt look into what the world really looked like for our fellow Muslims who have lived through these conflicts. But after seeing whats happeneing now, getting a glimpse of whats happened in the past, we need to do our part for our Ummah.. may Allah grant victory to the Muslims and liberate Masjid Al-Aqsa and the Muslim lands soon. May Allah ease the traumas each and every one of the people have suffered and grant them the highest ranks of Jannah. May Allah allow us to unite as an Ummah, strengthen us all in Iman and allow us to break away from the enemies of Islam. Ameen.

I was born the year this all started and I have been following the tragedy all my life. My auntie was a nurse in Palestine during the war. She had such a wonderful relationship with the local people and then the European Jews started to arrive. Long story, but it broke her heart and in 1948 with funding by the US, 50,000 Jews fought 700,000 Palestinians. My grandparents were kicked out of Iran and Romania, and lost family members along the way, they started fresh in Israel, and never got their houses/money back, nor did they ever want to.
That allowed me to live my life without feeling like the victim and forever trying to demolish the other nation.

Most people including myself growing up with the mainstream media, only hearing one side of the story. Always started with the narrative that terrorists attacked Israel but the Why is left out. When we learned the whole story it’s guaranteed that we feel sorry and sad for the Palestinians and want justice for them.
The why is because Israel agreed to multiple partitions of the land, but the governments representing the Arabs of the region did not. This is even true when one considers that once, Israel would have only been given 20% of the land and been cut off from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
