I'm a Chinese Muslim, and naturally I have a Chinese Dad, too. The other day my dad saw me praying alone in my room and he told my grandma about it, they're both happy to know that I'm praying. I'm glad that I was born and raised in a Muslim family, I know it is very hard for reverted Muslim to reveal their Islamic faith to their families, may Allah bless them and bestow upon them generous rewards.

Im chinese and recently became muslim (2 days ago) Alhamdulillah my parents and my whole family took it well, its still taking time for them to get used to things like my mother, but i am trying to learn more about the deen and practising, did my first jummah today too! I am a Han Chinese born into a large family deeply influenced by Buddhism and Taoism, and almost all family members are practicing Buddhist and Taoist ideas. Fortunately, when I converted to Islam, I received support or acquiescence from my family. My biggest problem is food. I live in Zhejiang Province. It's not easy to find halal food here. I don't have many choices. I can either go to Lanzhou Lamian Noodles Restaurant or make my own. I buy halal meat from Taobao. Every time I go to my mother's house for dinner, she cleans all the utensils and stove, and even goes to a halal butcher's shop a few kilometers away to buy lamb and beef. I am really lucky.
Family is very important,Whether you receive support or opposition, they are still your family. This is Allah's test of us.

I have some Chinese friends. they are Buddhist. Two of them are very close friends of mine. They both often deliver me to the mosque for Friday prayers. during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, both of them always send (halal) food/cakes to me. Several years ago the sons of two of my friends converted to Islam and recently the wife of one of my friends also converted to Islam. Hopefully someday my two best friends can convert too (with Allah's permission) Amin

@@thunderworldwonderamazing.4989 Yes there is a muslim group in China called the Uyghurs(pronounced wee-gur) who are a turkic ethnic group who have historically been oppressed by the Han chinese, even today the CCP(Chinese Communist Party) puts barriers around entire Uyghur communities and doesn't allow them to leave or enter, they also are known to send Uyghurs and other muslims to re education camps where they are regularly abused and stripped of their Qurans and Hijabs, in China the CCP sees anyone who isn't loyal to the state as a threat muslims, christians, capitalist, buhdist ect all get treated horribly but they are especially mean to the Muslim Uyghurs, in China Comunism is their faith and Mao Zhu Dong is their prophet, all muslims should know this Uyghurs are pious proud muslims and deserve the support, also a large majority of chinese people especially older folks don't like muslims.

As a revert to Islam it was not very difficult for me to change my way of being to please Allah SWT but it was and still is difficult for my parents to accept me as a Muslim. My father didn't take long to accept my decision but my mother isn't very accepting of it. She continues to challenge my faith but I continue to increase my eman and make dua that she sees Islam for what it truly is inshallah
SUBHANALLAH! May Allah ease your path and mend your relationship with your parents. Also Eid Mubarak, may Allah accept it from you and from us ameen!
Regardless of how hard she challenges you, increase the respect and kindness you have for her and attribute everything you're showing her to your new found faith. Insha-Allah, Allah will enlighten her heart to Islam or at least will remove her hostility towards you. I hope Allah favours her with Iman.
Let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah]. And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. Helping someone who just reverted to Islam, is something really beautiful. Its a wonderful opportunity to show Allah that you are helping HIS servant, someone HE HIMSELF chose to guide. I would love to have an opportunity like this.

As a Muslim who had to leave her house because of tensions due to hijab, I can say that these tests are temporary. Allah tests you to see how steadfast you are. But when you pass that test and practice Islam as it should and still try to be kind and maintain the ties of kinship, Allah will change their hearts. Keep strong my fellow reverts! When I became Muslim in June 2023, it was the best decision I ever made. However, my grandmother who raised me said, "I don't want your Muslim beliefs shoved down my throat." And after that, haven't spoken since. Not once did I ever have a conversation about my beliefs with her, but she blocked me on Facebook, and I decided to change my phone number soon after. So many families have been torn apart because of how the western society and new media has made Islam out to be so evil. The amount of love and respect I get from my fellow Brother's and Sister's of Islam is more than I ever experienced as a Christian. May all mighty Allah always watch over all Muslims, not just the reverts. I am a revert to Islam, but I was very fortunate that my non-believing family supported me in my embracing of Islam. I have had it very easy with huge support from all my Muslim and non-Muslim friends and family. Be proud and always remember the almighty Allah is watching over us.
Really the almighty Allah feels happy to see such great people who accepted Islam and don't care about the happy life. May Allah bless all the people who accepted the Islam. Ameen 🤲

But "a man of God" and a "prophet" ( claimed by himself) 53 years old already married many times and having many wives marrying a 6 year old child (friend's young baby girl) at the instruction of "god".. do you think he is a prophet to lead mankind in good values.

According to Islamic jurisprudence, a non-Muslim is given two options. They can either convert to Islam or pay a tax called Jizya. If a Christian or Jew chooses to pay the tax, they come under the protection of the state, and they are called "dhimmi". It is absolutely forbidden to attack, harm, or violate the rights of these individuals. Muslims never destroy all churches or synagogues in the places they conquer because you cannot force anyone to become a Muslim. Therefore, churches and synagogues are maintained for Christians and Jews. And if you insult their religion or show disrespect, they will do the same to yours. In this way, you cannot invite anyone to Islam. As Muslims, we know that Judaism and Christianity have been corrupted and that Islam is the final true religion, and we are 100% sure of it. However, to warm the hearts of non-Muslims towards Islam, we show them and their beliefs respect without insulting them. But when it comes to atheists, they don't even have belief in any books or any creator. And they are much further from the entrance of truth

Tolerance is a special word .Years ago on December 23 I met a group of Chinese youth in a "church" They were rehearsing a Christmas carols .One young man told me he wanted to be a Christian but was afraid of his father .Choice of faith for me was easy .He had chosen a name .I had to get on a ship and travel to Vietnam .He did convert at great cost .Some of the others later came to Berlin and it was wonderful catching up .I have no children but would be happy for any choice they made as adults ..Tolerance and love go together .
