There is a limit to my level of experimentation! :D My max is 72hrs dry, but I continued the fast with water plus electrolytes for another 96hrs. Thank you very much Reg for your wonderful video tips which I found most helpful!
I broke my first ever dry fast 10pm last night. I managed to fast 102 hours as it was far easier than I expected to continue & I wasnt hungry at all. My motivation was to reduce inflammation in my body including arthritic fingers & tinnitus, both adverse reactions to the Astra Zeneca vaccine. The arthritic issues including swelling on my knuckles has reduced 75% & the tinnitus is now quieter in volume, which is a real blessing! A side benefit I wasnt hoping for is Ive lost over 3 kg.
Btw I recommend breaking a fast in the morning or afternoon (rather than before bed as I did) to allow time to drink water slowly then eat. I didnt eat until 11am today 13 hours after breaking my fast & I felt very weak & had hunger pains.
NB: I recommend you DONT take a bath or shower (soon after breaking a dry fast as I did) or while dry fasting until after eating again. I took a hot bath last night hoping to ease a few body aches. Instead after 15 minutes I felt dizzy, very ill & had to suddenly exit the bath. I then fainted/ blacked out thankfully on hallway carpet & cut my lip (no stiches needed thankfully!)

Thank you for a wonderful video and explanation. Might I add, your hair and face is so gorgeous! I am on day 2 of a dry fast and it seems easier than water fasting, like you said because the liquid can incur hunger. I have always struggled with how to break a fast, and tend to eat whatever is in the fridge at the time, fruits, veg, pb, etc. but i was thinking about the ancient Israelites and what would they eat to break a fast? Im curious if they started with fruit and some kind of lentils, and then fish and bread of some kind... just a thought. I always think on things, how did they do it many years ago? They probably experimented too!

Great video reggi. I did 47 days water fasting between May and early July, during which time there was minimal urgency.. then OMAD until now. Compared to before, I feel great, and I have felt great pretty much ever since I began.. Hunger pangs were basically non existent and any minor psychological discomfort was very easy to ignore.. I scared myself back into an eating routine.. (Was I losing too many trace minerals/electrolytes?... scary!)
I had started about a month before the fast by switching to 2 cups of wheatgrass juice and a tablespoon of sour cream per day until I realized I was never really very hungry... then began the water fast.
Meals lately are OMAD,, baked garden zucchini w/onions and mushrooms.. So many zucchini growing this year, I'm feeling overwhelmed! but production is starting to taper off a little so...
Now I want to try dry fasting which I'm thinking will be quite a challenge for me. Maybe beginning one next week. I dropped 60 lbs last month and now weigh 170.. I want to see what 155 in near perfect health is like. I am so looking forward to this.
I have arranged to receive notifications for all your videos, and I'm very encouraged by your work and your commenters stories as well...
    Thanks, so much!

I've just cracked. I was planning to do a 5 day dry fast for inflammation of the urethra that I've had for 4 months but cracked the end of day 4. I don't think it's cured my issue but then the burning I've had during it maybe just dehydration. I'll get a better look in the next couple of days. I broke my fast with baking soda and water. 1 glass but drank it in 10 minutes. Just drank a litre of coconut water over the next 2 hours and in about 20 minutes I'll down a green apple. See how this all goes. It was tough work but pleased with myself lasting 4 days. Will have another crack soon

Amen on experimenting, as our bodies are not created equal. Always pre-load with electrolytes prior to any dry fasting, and coconut water off from a real coconut is key. Broke my 7 day dry and 11 day dry same way, with 1/2 teaspoon of organic baking powder to 16oz spring water with at least 7 to 7.5 PH. Slowly sip for 1 hour, next hour just again like stated SLOWLY as your body is already in shock from a long fast so, slowly is key!!! One thing I have found is keeping carbohydrates down to 50 or less a day for inflammation and also water retention. Keep experimenting ans take a journal to go back too… Good luck and thank you for this presentation.

I think you completely misinterpreted what happened with your body when you said you went out and ate food like Chinese after finishing your dry fast it was not the sodium that made you retain the water weight it was the carbs because carbs themselves are comprised of water. Taking in a lot of sodium actually helps you get rid of water weight because it’s an electrolyte when you have a low sodium diet you’re more likely to retain more water but the more sodium you take in the more you will urinate out excess water because your body finally sees that it has no need for the water the less sodium you take in the more water your body will reinvest remember your body uses water to move electrolytes throughout the body
