Dry fasting works wonders, ive lost 20lbs in just 4 days i use it everytime ive gained fat from depression binge eating and i feel soo much better
That's amazing! I'm thinking about starting. Were you able to keep it off?
How do you keep the weight off?
@@Mscookie3131 Reintroduce yourself to water only after the fast and do it slowly. I do that for a day or 2 and when i reintroduce food i make sure its dense in protien, healthy fats, All the stuff my body needs and nothing else. You stomach should shrink after so youll get full FAST. Just have proper nutrition in your meals and spread them out throuout the day so that you can still eat. Youll never feel hungry most of the time youll feel like you can barely finnish a small portion. Your goals might not be my goals so there might be a better way to go about it. Crazy this came out while i was thinking how to break my dry fasting
Excellent information. I have been dry fasting for two years and I always feel great two days after my fast, I notice a difference in my body. I break my fast with a large glass of watermelon juice with the juice of one lemon and I take about an hour to drink it all and the rest of the day I will have only fruit, it's easier on my stomach.
How often should someone dry fast? Is it something that should be done regularly?
@@petrospetromixos6962 I do a 48 hour dry fast once a month and a 24 hour dry fast on Mondays because I was cheating on the weekends, I have been doing this for a while now, you have to know what you are doing when dry fasting , my diet consists of 70 to 80 percent fruit, this hydrates the body very well and it makes it easier when dry fasting.
Do your research and look into Dr. Robert Morse's teaching. All the best.

I started with 6 months of Monday to Friday 17-hr water fasting --- Suddenly discovered Dry fasting --- Immediately did 20-hr dry OMAD with occasional mid-30-hr dry fasts WITH NO HUNGER --- a year or so later it's weekly 45-hr dry from Sunday 6pm to Tuesday 3pm, broken by Water and Coffee until 9pm sleep, then normal 20-hr dry OMAD on Wed,Thurs,Friday --- Cheers and a Big Hug!
what do you eat in that one meal and when do you eat that meal?
@@incorectulpolitic --- I start with a mostly fruit smoothie then lightly cooked veggies with fish, usually salmon --- after the long fast I start with a slow simple warm drink.
@@incorectulpolitic 1 to 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water is great way to end a dry fast. I just finished my 1st dry fast for 4 days + 6 hours and it was far easier than I thought. Moving my tongue around my mouth helped to ease of thirst as it creates saliva. Whatever you do DO NOT take a hot bath or shower before eating again as I did last night as I got dizzy & fainted from the heat, most likely.
How much water do you drink during your small OMAD eating window?

What are some ways you break a dry fast? Experimenting is truth for your body! Thanks for watching! 🙌🏽🤗
I use coconut water to break my dry fast.
57 hrs into my first 72hr dry fast.,. So far so good. I had time off because of covid . Put on extra weight n I want to do a rest . Just starting to get lite cramps. I will survive.. thanks for the information. I have had types of urges to eat 😋, but let's go health.
Great video.☺️
Thank you so much! Appreciate! 💛🤗
I enjoy dry fasting, but I'm not about that hard dry fasting life, and let's not even get into the whole urine therapy thing, LoL. There is a limit to my level of experimentation! :D My max is 72hrs dry, but I continued the fast with water plus electrolytes for another 96hrs. In the end, I didn't have to worry because I was essentially breaking a water fast. It's habit now so I usually start with a dry fast and end it with a water fast.
1GoldenBreeze yea that urine therapy is another level For sure. Lol! And I agree with you on experimentation. 🙌🏽. I like ending a dry fast on a water fast path. It does seem to be less disruptive to the system. I love your thoughtfulness my friend! Thank you! 🤗💛
@@andromeda436 Yes, I do drink water, if my fast lasts beyond 36 - 42 hrs.

@@everythingimani8574 Good luck! That's a long time for a dry fast. I've never done 120hr dry fast and I don't have any plans to in the future.
So if I'm correct, a dry fast consist of hydration before the first sunrise to sunset and then after that, there's no food or water for let's say 3 days if I'm just starting?
Thank you very much Reg for your wonderful video tips which I found most helpful!
I broke my first ever dry fast 10pm last night. I managed to fast 102 hours as it was far easier than I expected to continue & I wasnt hungry at all. My motivation was to reduce inflammation in my body including arthritic fingers & tinnitus, both adverse reactions to the Astra Zeneca vaccine. The arthritic issues including swelling on my knuckles has reduced 75% & the tinnitus is now quieter in volume, which is a real blessing! A side benefit I wasnt hoping for is Ive lost over 3 kg.
Btw I recommend breaking a fast in the morning or afternoon (rather than before bed as I did) to allow time to drink water slowly then eat. I didnt eat until 11am today 13 hours after breaking my fast & I felt very weak & had hunger pains.
NB: I recommend you DONT take a bath or shower (soon after breaking a dry fast as I did) or while dry fasting until after eating again. I took a hot bath last night hoping to ease a few body aches. Instead after 15 minutes I felt dizzy, very ill & had to suddenly exit the bath. I then fainted/ blacked out thankfully on hallway carpet & cut my lip (no stiches needed thankfully!)
Our bodies are different...I've been taking baths during 2-day dry fasts, and I've been feeling great.
I love your smile Queen 😍
Thank you so much! Very kind.

Just some tips for a long time dry faster to break a long dry fast u need to cool off ur kidneys n free it from acid apple cider vinegar n a pinch of baking soda them a cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice then wait a min n have a slice of watermelon r coconut water n sip it slowly
Can I eat yogurt? Thanks coming of a 3day dry fasting
What do you mean by cool off your kidneys? Can you explain further? Does this concoction give them a break or cleanse them out somehow? Baking soda and vinegar sound terribly uncomfortable to ingest 🫣
Thank you for a wonderful video and explanation. Might I add, your hair and face is so gorgeous! I am on day 2 of a dry fast and it seems easier than water fasting, like you said because the liquid can incur hunger. I have always struggled with how to break a fast, and tend to eat whatever is in the fridge at the time, fruits, veg, pb, etc. but i was thinking about the ancient Israelites and what would they eat to break a fast? Im curious if they started with fruit and some kind of lentils, and then fish and bread of some kind... just a thought. I always think on things, how did they do it many years ago? They probably experimented too!
Thank you from the kind words. ✨💛
Girl I am doing dry fasting now 100 days I am doing Ramadan so it’s easy for me but I use to do one day dry fasting the other day off but now I am trying to do 100 days with out stoping one day what u recommend me because it’s 100 days
Bone broth
Great video reggi. I did 47 days water fasting between May and early July, during which time there was minimal urgency.. then OMAD until now. Compared to before, I feel great, and I have felt great pretty much ever since I began.. Hunger pangs were basically non existent and any minor psychological discomfort was very easy to ignore.. I scared myself back into an eating routine.. (Was I losing too many trace minerals/electrolytes?... scary!)
I had started about a month before the fast by switching to 2 cups of wheatgrass juice and a tablespoon of sour cream per day until I realized I was never really very hungry... then began the water fast.
Meals lately are OMAD,, baked garden zucchini w/onions and mushrooms.. So many zucchini growing this year, I'm feeling overwhelmed! but production is starting to taper off a little so...
Now I want to try dry fasting which I'm thinking will be quite a challenge for me. Maybe beginning one next week. I dropped 60 lbs last month and now weigh 170.. I want to see what 155 in near perfect health is like. I am so looking forward to this.
I have arranged to receive notifications for all your videos, and I'm very encouraged by your work and your commenters stories as well...
Thanks, so much!
Wow! Very impressive! Keep up the electrolytes. Very important! Thanks for sharing. 💛
I've just cracked. I was planning to do a 5 day dry fast for inflammation of the urethra that I've had for 4 months but cracked the end of day 4. I don't think it's cured my issue but then the burning I've had during it maybe just dehydration. I'll get a better look in the next couple of days. I broke my fast with baking soda and water. 1 glass but drank it in 10 minutes. Just drank a litre of coconut water over the next 2 hours and in about 20 minutes I'll down a green apple. See how this all goes. It was tough work but pleased with myself lasting 4 days. Will have another crack soon
nope. fruits are mostly sugars. don't break dry fast with them. except avocado as its mostly fat. you will not miraculously heal from just one session.
Amen on experimenting, as our bodies are not created equal. Always pre-load with electrolytes prior to any dry fasting, and coconut water off from a real coconut is key. Broke my 7 day dry and 11 day dry same way, with 1/2 teaspoon of organic baking powder to 16oz spring water with at least 7 to 7.5 PH. Slowly sip for 1 hour, next hour just again like stated SLOWLY as your body is already in shock from a long fast so, slowly is key!!! One thing I have found is keeping carbohydrates down to 50 or less a day for inflammation and also water retention. Keep experimenting ans take a journal to go back too… Good luck and thank you for this presentation.

Can I start with water and juice on Day 1?
Sure…take it slow and ease into it. You don’t have to go hard out the gate. 💛
I drank celery juice on day 2
How do I overcome weakness, tiredness, sickness and hunger?
For dry fasting it’s hard to get by without feeling tired. This is something I recommend when not working heavily and have a less stressed environment. Now if you’re referring to water fasting, it’s about adding electrolytes to the water to keep the energy up and curb the appetite. Hope that helps.

I do not recommend dry fasting that long. Is there something in particular you are trying to accomplish? Otherwise, I would stick to water fasting with electrolytes. Your body needs to be prepped before you begin with a lot of hydration and minerals.

You're over 50???😲
I think you completely misinterpreted what happened with your body when you said you went out and ate food like Chinese after finishing your dry fast it was not the sodium that made you retain the water weight it was the carbs because carbs themselves are comprised of water. Taking in a lot of sodium actually helps you get rid of water weight because it’s an electrolyte when you have a low sodium diet you’re more likely to retain more water but the more sodium you take in the more you will urinate out excess water because your body finally sees that it has no need for the water the less sodium you take in the more water your body will reinvest remember your body uses water to move electrolytes throughout the body
That’s wrong, it is different when you go on a dry fast, your body is sensitive to water and sodium
Yes especially Chinese food is full of MSG
Over 50 ????
Yes I am. 💛
@@reggisweat you look great and vibrant . hats off to you
I'm not depriving myself of drinking water. I'll ask an actual doctor if this is healthy or not but I'm not taking medical advice from someone on the internet.
As you should do whats best for you.
@@reggisweatthanks for this video, I'm super worried about what's going to happen to my body when I start back eating. I'm about to finish a 7days dry fast and I plan to start with coconut water. I want to do two days of blended fruit watermelon, ginger turmeric, pineapple, cucumber for 3days then eat raw on the 4th day. I hope it will be okay.
Drs should never be consulted for general health. Only if you break your arm or are about to die etc.
