Just finishing up my second boat since last November. The tutorials helped a lot. These boats aren't rocket science but I'd definitely recommend buying a set of plans just to give peace of mind if nothing else. Said the guy who didn't 😅
Hi Jerry I'd rather watch your videos than build a boat. Have learned alot watching your techniques. How about a short video on those awesome plywood horses you built. Seems like a necessity for ease of building. Also lets build some more boats [ make more videos]!!!! Thanks
so im working though your boat plans this winter, and my one question is. for the form, is the plywood being 3/4" neccesary, or would 1/2 work (all the rest im following as planned.(here in canada where i live, 1/2 is half the price of 3/4, and i figure if it is just for the form, it shoudl be ok)
By the sides, leaning out that creates the lift in the bow, which, and turns keeps the waves from coming over, also increases the displacement, the more weight you put in the boat, the larger volume .

I love your saw and track.
I wish I had one years ago
Nicely done sir. Thank you for the video. Always educational and fun.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video. Curious what temperature you keep the shop? Thanks!
When I’m working or epoxy, is curing 70°

You can even use half inch OSB
Why do the sides lean out so much or at all?

Centre console in this one?
Not by me, maybe the next owner.
Класно!!)))👍
Make sure you put comfortable seats in it. Pete and I are getting old.
I think your just acting old
Wish I could learn this as an apprentice but I`m in my 50`s and am using a cane because I worked hard all my life.
