This is the closest you will get to that sound we all love. Phil is a Legend in every way. My wife and I were lucky enough to meet him about 15 years ago. We were at Jazz Fest in the Starbucks at the Sheraton. It was just the of us and my best friend and here walks in Phil. I usually never ask for a picture or anything from anyone. I just could not believe he was in there with us I had to ask him for a pix. He was in a hurry for sound check running late. He was gracious enough to take pictures with us and gave a 3 of us back stage passes for that night. 220 shows went all over the country 10 times over and I meet him at Starbucks out of all places. #PHILZONE

Wow, just added this to our "MOE Great Concerts" playlist. Love the way Luther and Cody just supply the great rhythm (along with Phil) but Luther absolutely kills it on his occasional solos. He's one of our favorite guitar players. Very nice production as well.

How about we don't. Phil and Friends is beautiful while Dead and Co is a money grab and gross and slow. So sad we lost 10 years of Furthur for John Mayonaise on lead guitar woot woot!
This is just great. Transition into Cumberland was rough, but the rest was amazing! After hearing JRAD so much I find myself yearning for more sustain on the bass, but no biggie. Phil knows what he's doing!
