The fact that the bank manager still A) was the bank manager B) kept the agent's card C) knew the person he was waiting for is amazing. Different time and place. 👏👏👏
bank managers can't catch Cox while he is running multiple loan applications with fake ID's for millions but they can remember one guy for ten years who stole 50k

I definitely felt bad for the guy lmao like bro you had that guy probably in cloud 9 coming off the plane just for all his hopes to get shattered 😅 that's ruthless 😂
I honestly felt the same way, not so much that he had to go to prison for what he did since he was guilty, but for me it was more so to the fact that they outright deceived him to get him back there. I couldn’t help but wonder if that was illegal even, something like false pretenses but idk much about that sort of thing so no clue. 😅
@CheeferSutherland oh yeah absolutely what he did was wrong moral and legally speaking. But he didn't even get anything no monetary value was lost, he got caught and posted ball. Then he left the country never even came back to get his ssi money. He accepted his defeat. FBI just pulled a con on a con man at be it morally questionable however legal. Personally clever way to get him back but allot of time resources and money to put him in prison I think a waste of time tax payer money for what we know not even a repeat offender. But great story. 👍
@CheeferSutherland No absolutely not illegal to deceive a person when trying to apprehend them, It’s not like he was on the witness stand and lied under oath!
This was an amazing video, I’ve never laughed so hard in recent months…. Folks riding next to me on the interstate were looking at me like I was a nut job… if they only knew I was watching this interview…. OMG… great one man..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😎
We need an episode with Gilberto Gernado Lopez Matt! 😂😂😂 25:52 Love the chemistry here about Matt's empathy for bad guys. NGL Matt i felt the same way🤷♂️

They found out while we were briefing at the gate, waiting for everyone to come out of the plane."
We just reviewed both my dateline episode and my American greed. We posted them both within the last month. They're hilarious. Plus, Zack and I are going to review a body cam video about a bank scam. We're going to do that on Monday.
@@InsideTrueCrime dude I watch them all. Your channel is without doubt my favourite content on UA-cam, keep it up dude, wish you all the best for the future mate. Much love from the UK 🤘🤘
Matt.... You and Tom Simon have amazing chemistry. He is one of your best interviewees. Please continue to bring him back! And thanks for all the great interviews!! Hope you had a great Independence Day!
Tom can come back as many times as he wants. I think he is absolutely great. And I love my conversations with him. I don't know if it comes across in the interviews, but he's actually very structured and goal oriented. So he walks in the door with an agenda. Obviously, I am flying by the seat of my pants on these interviews. The combination is very funny to me. Also, he's super frustrated by my joking around. Which makes it even more funny to me. 🤣
Hope you had a great Independence Day weekend! Yes, that definitely comes across in the videos. Simon is an intense, no-nonsense guy. He’s very structured. You go off on tangents, and try to take him with you. He keeps trying to reel you back in. You both have vast experience in the world of criminal justice, but it’s from very different perspectives. You clearly have a great deal of respect for each other. The chemistry is great. Your videos together are not interviews. They’re educated discussions. They’re informative, and a ton of fun. Keep at it!

Great interview! Very interesting! I can’t believe the length scammers go through to scam someone. At some point it always seems easier to just get a real job!!
Damn Matt, you blowing up quick bro! 👏👏👏 Love to see it from such an authentic and honest person [on the podcast anyways 😂😂😂] who's been through the system like i have!
