Don't get commercial mayo with a bunch of soybean oil. Unfortunately the organic mayo he has still has soybean oil. If it is organic it hopefully is not GMO, but soybean oil still isn't all that great. It is best to make your own or at least look for something with avocado oil or walnut oil.

In Canada, I have only been able to find mayo with Canola. Have found a few "made with" Olive oil but key term is "made with" not "Only containing olive oil". There is olive oil in it but still also has canola. Why? Cheaper for the greedies! Best make our own.

I've found if you cut brussel sprouts in half and satay them in the oil of your choice, they absorb the oil like sponges. Ditto with broccoli. I made a cup of broccoli with a half dozen sprouts and they abosorbed over 3 tbsp of butter. Works the same for steaming them and pouring over. 2 cups of healthy veggies and 40g of the fat of your choice. Add a hard boiled egg or two for protein on the side and you have an awesome meal.

You pick 5 or 6 comments from each day's video published Mon- Fri. and answer them in a weekend video wrap up segment and maybe expand a bit more on each topic for a couple of minutes if you want. Also a quick short videos on: beginners guide to starting keto and why its good for you, how side step keto flu and other things that will delay you getting into keto, how to avoid temptation, how to reduce cravings, do and dont of keto at grocery stores.

Thank you, Thomas, for your inspiring videos! I would like to request if possible three things: 1) to offer culturally appropriate alternatives to what kinds of fat we eat. 2) writing the ingredients or items you are mentioning in text on the top left corner, as what you sometimes do, is really helpful. I take a screenshot of it and add it to my to-do list. 3) explain briefly what some idioms mean or some terms; could be as simple as fat or protein as not all of the audience know what those simple words mean to Keto diet. This is my third day of Keto diet, so my apologies if my requests seem stupid. Thanks again for your amazing videos.

I make my own mayonnaise with my own organic eggs from my own chickens which we have on organic feed! I love making it. It is super easy:
    1 organic egg
    1 cup avocado oil
    1 tbsp Dijon mustard
    Juice 1/2 lemon
    Pinch of salt
Add all together (yep even the oil) into an immersion blender canister and blend with your immersion blender for 20 seconds until fully mixed. I slowly bring the blender to the top to mix the rest of the oil in...and voila! Homemade Mayo! Delicious!

Hi Thomas, I have a question related to fat and the keto diet.
I've noticed that lately I've been very satiated with the foods I'm eating, so much so that I've skipped or almost skipped meals as I'm not as hungry. The only reason I've not skipped a meal as that it seems like I'd be significantly under consuming calories in relation to just my base metabolism, like 2/3 or less of the calories I was satisfied. My question is, is it bad for me to under consume calories in this case? While I have a few lbs to lose it's not much and doesn't seem like I should under consume this much too often, but I'm not sure. Related, on days where I work out I have even more calories that I am supposedly burning, but still not as hungry. Is it bad that I don't consume my base calories plus the additional calories that my devices say I'm burning?
Thank you for the information on the good fat sources.

I have been fasting 23.5 hours a day for two weeks (actually 15 days) and only lost 6 pounds. I hard dry fast all day with no water also. During my 1/2 hour window I guess I eat too much protein. I wish I knew what to eat also! Adding ghee, adding mct oil, adding tahini, those are NOT food. They are ADDED to food. I guess the only thing to actually EAT are eggs, bacon, steak, avacados and asparagus. Thats it. Maybe a chicken breast, but thats too much protein. Maybe Ill just go anorexic fasting cuz theres nothing to actually eat besides eggs, which ALSO has protein. Very confusing. Maybe just drink black coffee and mct oil till i lose 20 pounds.

Mayo is my go to fat addition and ends up on almost everything. Sometimes add just a little of another condiment, just enough to flavour it and change things up a bit. What oil is best to look out for in mayo or to use making homemade?
Pork rinds are great for breading things. Also add them to salads or anything I want to add some crunch to.
Boiled eggs, a bucket of mayo and some chopped bacon. 😋😋
