great review, thanks. But now i want too try both!
Forefoot striker here, used the reb pro 1 recently in my first half marathon race to finish 1:32. Found that it seems to unload the calf and Achilles, and really distributes the forces around and into the much larger leg muscles. I also don’t tend to over stride in this shoe which I think is due to the geometry encouraging you to push off the toe for as long as possible, the right gait is incredibly rewarding.
I do a lot of threshold work in the Adidas Prime X2 and can really feel the extra Achilles, shin and calf strain in the rest of the pack. I also catch myself over striding in the Primes + all the other “regular” shoes if I’m not careful. I find that training for a neutral forefoot / non-overstriding in more unstable and traditional shoe shapes pays dividends in the pro 1.
Can’t wait to try the 2!
Sounds like you will like them! Thanks for the comment.
Love your vids man, very informative! Quite confused with Rebellion Pro 2 sizing though. How does the fit compare to the Vaporfly 3? Thank you!
Thanks man! The Pro is true to size, but it's more like a traditional fitting running shoe with the tongue and lacing up. The Alphafly is like a sock that locks you in really secure. Fit is true to size also. Hope that helps?
I've got Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% 2 bought in 2022. Loved it and done many km on that shoes but now it's all worn out. Today, decided to try the NEW Mizuno Wave Rebellion 2 which cost me AUD 360.00, not cheap but I want to see what the fuss is about. Test run tomorrow!
Let us know how they go!
i'm brazilian, but, which one is the best? i'm not understand the whole video
Alphafly 3 in my opinion. Thanks for the comment!
i have the alphafly 3 and it makes
me blisters
I have heard of a few people getting blisters. where abouts are you getting them?
@@run-are on each foot at the inner side/edge where the midfoot is. They are to narrow at this point. suprisingly the toebox is perfect. I did my PB in those shoes but my legs felt raped after that run. Endorphine Elite and Asics Superblast worked fine from the beginning. ... sad actually, I like the forwardboost of the AF3
@@CookingEngineer I had that problem with AF1 and AF2 (as many others). I thought it would've been fixed in model 3, thanks for your comment.
@@CookingEngineer so if the leg pain was muscle development and you PB'd, would you agree that the blisters are worth it? I want a PB shoe
So jealous 😂😂😂
great review, thanks. but now i want to try both lol.
