The devs do bad updates but they are literally constantly trying to improve the game ( soon to be conquest, balancing, bugs, ping compensation even tho it failed) don't act like the devs ONLY drop bad updates and don't improve the game

chime ruined the game (mainly the elo chime but still normal chime) before shrine people made random builds would experiment now people make a meta build u either found from another player, a UA-cam video, found the meta or bought a build then you spend 4 hours to progress and go into chime thats the game. old deepwoken was a struggle to level to max due to lack of skill and the unknown no meta health equips no minmaxed builds sure some people got max builds but it took you a few weeks there where stuff to explore then the youtube scene poped off spoiled everything made meta builds for chime then layer 2 made progression far to easy and far to safe you dont explore you go trial of one hive ferryman/proffered boss and chime. at least before u had to gank for luck
the deepwoken is dying cause new player are getting jumped by voidwalkers and they make them dissapointed, quiting and regret buying the Game and my friends are one of those who quit deepwoken cause they cant even reach 2 or 5 level they got jumped and jumped by Voidwalkers and they regret buying the game just imagine you play deepwoken for the first time and you are grinding to level up and suddenly a group of voidwalker or 1 voidwalker jump you again and again wont you be dissapointed and regret buying the game
I love deepwoken combat but the devs have done some questionable changes to it which made it feel less responsive…and not worth it and I hopped on the other day to play some chime and the new leg is actually fucking unfair 😭 I think it has hyper armor on every move maybe I’m tweaking
Thank you so much for voicing all the problems of this game especially the PVP. This problem has been with us since last summer, I'm super glad people are finally catching up and more YTERS are finally talking about it. As a player who came to this game for a "skill vs skill" experience as promised from the devs, nothing has been what the devs promised since verse 2 dropped. The only skill you need is to learn how to make a build, how to use your build, and how to farm bosses to get the best equipment possible in the game. Parrying, roll canceling, mantra feinting, movement, reading your opponent and trying to get into your opponent's mind to get that nutty combo, being proficient at all of those techniques doesn't matter any more. It's all about making a good and unfair build now... The fact is that you don't need to be a good player in order to be able to win against 90% of your fights against actual good sweaty comp players who know their stuff thanks to the unfair balancing that the devs keep promoting in their game. And the worst part is that, to be a good player I have to sacrifice my dignity and make one of these horrifying cringy builds just to win. Thank you again, and I wish you best of luck with your YT journey (coming out from a former yter myself who failed sadly at his yt channel in the past... Keep up the good work, I mean it.)
