I love how you always refer to "getting wiser." Thank you for that!
I love hearing dr dray speak, it’s kind of comforting. She’s amazing for how consistent she is with uploading every day, I hope she gets enough rest after working hard !
i am really happy that i have found your channel!!! i love the way that you “dumb” things down for non specialists or people that are getting into skin care and taking care of themselves😊i know who and what i am binge watching for the next week😋
I love Avene! My skin really likes this brand. I'm using their ultra high 50+ sunscreen and it's one of my favourites ever.
We need La Roche, Bioderma, Cosrx, and some kbeauty brands! Love this series 💜
Bioderma is top brend, it overtook the throne in european cosmetics. La roche is great as well, for me its the best.
I used bioderma atoderm creme on my super dry face. It glides like a dream & stays on my skin till next morning. No need to reapply often. It sinks in. The atoderm range is for face& body. I am into simple skincare. So great I found this gem. fragrance free of course.
@@stojanchojovanovski2990 I used La Roche a lot, it was my favourite, trusted and safe sensitive skin brand. But recently I started experimenting and Bioderma’s Sensibio line is so good! Bioderma packs more active ingredients in their products and are just slightly more science-based than LRP.
@@nancyendary1766 just looked up the Bioderma atoderm and the formula has been changed for the worse 😔
@@leonab545 it has cetyl alcohol which burns my skin
Love the reference to "getting wiser"
Eye creams are not necessary, but ice cream is.
lol!
That is so true 🍦🍧🍨
My husband agrees!
I'd rather have young eyes than ice cream😀
@@TA-sv3cq Imagine not getting a joke
Yay finally Avene, one of my favourite brands! Amazing video as always Dr Dray. Have a great day!
❤️🤗
I love you!!!! I bought the Avene cicalfate emulsion, the mineral tinted SPF and the tinted compact SPF in a leap of faith after watching your videos. I'm in Europe so Avene is cheap and readily available everywhere. These products are wonderful!!!! My skin loves them! Thank you sooooo much.
About 20 years ago, when my derm diagnosed rosacea, he recommended the avene thermal water. He said he could not tell me why it worked for minimizing flares, but that his patients found it helpful. He also encouraged me to dump all the dermalogica skincare I was using. Anyway, years later and with a much improved skin barrier, it is the thermal water and heavy duty moisturizer more than any medication that keeps my skin at ease.
Another one with rosacea who loves the eau thermale here!
wow this was 20 years ago... thermal spring water must be that incredible. I'm currently using it in my skincare, it does show improvement. I thought it just water, but apparently not any type of water!
@@ryeofoatmeal I personally use Uriage the most often but also Avene (and always Avene while traveling because their mini bottles are the most affordable) but have used Vichy (incredible - has elemental sulfur in it) and La Roche Posay as well. They are all amazing but they have different mineral composition so when my rosacea was flaring I would use all four!!
@@mockingbirdnightingale7169 ive tried both uriage and lrp. I prefer lrp but uriage is nice too!
@@ninalou4629 LRP is great because it has elemental selenium in it! I think the reason I fell in love with Uriage is actually how fine the mist is, it's like walking through fog all the way to the last drop whereas the others aren't as fine, Avene in particular is like being hosed down toward the end. They are all excellent. I'm a die-hard French Pharmacy lover as I think all of us super-sensitive skin peeps ought to be!!
Per your recommendation I’ve been using eucerin roughness relief lotion. It doesn’t contain a bha like the Avene product but it’s been a game changer for my dry body skin, feet and hands. I’ve even tried it on my face. I also purchased the Neutrogena body oil for a double cleanse and love it. It leaves my face so soft.
Hi, Dr. Dray! Really appreciating these top 10 videos :)
Ditto!
They’re the best in helping me decide what products to spend my money on. I love it but my bank account hates it!
Glad you like them!
Just wanted to say the spf 50 compact actually covers my melasma. So worth it!
You inspire me so much! I aspire to be Dermatologist too💜✨🙏🏽
Oh wow I LOVE the jump links. Thanks so much!
We really appreciate all the timestamps too Dr. Dray! Can't wait for you to reach 1 mill!! Happy Tuesday :)
Thanks so much!
Avene has a very decent range of organic (chemical) sunscreens in Europe. Their spfs never irritated my sensitive, rosacea skin but those tend to give a slight to moderate white cast - depending on your skin tone. They do make tinted versions, though.
Thanks Dr. Dray for this video!
I love retinaldehyde, it's so gentle and like Dr. Dray said, it only takes on conversion to get to retinoic acid
Could you please remake a teen acne routine video, since there are new products? I think my teen would actually listen to you. Also, I have to say how wonderfully healthy you look these days and I am so happy for you. Thank you!
You are looking wonderful Dr Dray, really enjoying you watching.❤️
Wonderful video!!!! Love you videos!!! Also a side note, I have recently started using a moisturizing chemical spf as hand cream I attempt to prevent solar lentigo years down the road. We wash our hands like crazy so after each wash I just apply some. Takes care of dry hands and reapplication of spf. Works wonderfully so far
One if the best parts of my day is coming home after a 10 hour shift and eagerly watching a video from you! 😊 Thanks so much, Dr Dray!! You're amazing! Happy Tuesday. Hope you have a cozy evening. 💖
Thanks doc
I’m a fan of avene products , would love to hear which r actually good.
Love from India 🇮🇳
Thank you for another great video Dr Dray, hope all is well and hope Mama Dray is okay ❤
Love you, Dr. Dray. Seriously. You are a gem.
Love this series! Please do more :)
Thank you, Dr. Dray. I had no idea that they make mineral tinted sunscreen. I am learning so much.
You are approaching 1M!
Absolutely love Avene cold cream lip balm, the absolutely best I have found.
Hi Dr, I love these top 10, please make about vichy or bioderma
I was just looking over your channel tonight hoping to see exactly THIS video! I've been dabbling with both LRP and Avene but am more drawn to Avene for some reason (seems more suited to sensitive, mature skin prone to redness/rosacea). Thank you!
I’ve really been loving the Cicalfate lip balm. 💗
I got a tube about 2 months ago (per your suggestion, Dr. Dray) and it feels great!
I’ve more or less accepted that nothing will fully cure my dry, peeling lips, but this balm feels great and does seem to last a good while- particularly if I gently rub it in really well, let it absorb, and then seal it with some Vaseline.
And even though I haven’t had much of an occasion to wear bold lip colors in the last year, it helps as a great pre-moisturizer before applying lip color (especially if I’m feeling bold enough to use a matte formula, lol.)
I like the way you say “As we get wiser” 😊
I love it !! I enjoy all your video especially your top products sooooo coollll have a great day ☀️🇨🇦
Happy Tuesday Dr Dray!! 💖🇬🇧
Lovely that you do this about Avene I have their tinted BB creme instead of foundation. It has no powder and a slight sheen, perfect for a 76 year old skin.
It's great stuff, I too wear it instead of foundation.
OMG thank you for using timestamps!!!!!!!!
Wooww...I was just searching for something like this yesterday & now this😍😍😍😍...u r totally amazing ♥️♥️
Hope you can have your top 10 list from Some By Mi. Really love your videos Dr. Dray!!
Good morning Dr. Dray your skin looks beautiful today.
Thanks a lot love love Avene. Can you do top 10 Bioderma, La Roche Posay, Korean/Japan products please...
I love their cleanance cleanser. I know it has fragrance, but it works for me. I tried the fragrance free gel, but for my oily skin I liked the cleanance better.
I’m actually very happy with Avene Eau Thermale Soothing Eye Contour Cream. I sometimes have allergy under eye area with redness, puffiness and itchiness/burning sensation. I went to a pharmacy and the lady in the shop gave me a sample to try. The allergy disappeared after 2-3 days and I continue to use it. It’s an amazing product! 👍😃
Thank you Dr Dray happy Tuesday All 💕💃🏻
Thankyou, Dear Dr D. I requested for Avene Top 10 video. I am so so happy to watch this video. You're skin saving hero. Stay blessed.
thanks for watching
Avene products saved my very sensitive and irritated skin! The only brand besides eucerin that won’t irritate and burn my skin
The retinal products are so drying and the skin definitely burns after the use of them. I used PhysioLift. Don't recommend!
@@Yoyo90s Hey, right now I use Avene A Oxitive Nuit. I have no irritation with it. And I have rosecea. The A Oxitive eye creme also worked for me. But I believe with any Retinol product you should still use a moisturizer. As far as I know all Retinol products are drying. I use cerave pm moisturizer before the A Oxitive products. You can also do the sandwich method to be extra safe: moisturizer --> Retinol ---> moisturizer. But the physiolift line also has fragrance in it... Maybe that's also a factor for irritation.
Uriage is very good too.
hello, I'm Brazilian and I do dermatological medicine. And I can say that for me Avical Cicalfate is the best repairer for sensitive skin and wounds.
Hi Dr.Dray, I admire your videos and your intelligence, keep up the good work ❤ I just have a question. Should we use Avene RetinAL products over our moisturizer just like we would with retinol before bed to protect our skin from irritation even more or under? Thanks in advance 😘
I could not figure out the difference between the RetrinAL Intensive Cream and the Wrinkle Corrector. Now I know. Thank you!
I have a bad habit of biting my lip, so I appreciate the lip balm recommendation!
I love Avene- Boots in the UK often have it on a 3 for 2 offer, so you can get a whole routine of really high quality products for £50. Am giving the Triacneal a try as I’m having small breakouts (in my 40s...)
Dr dray your videos are addictive!
My favorite line, "Well, hey, guys! " Just makes my day. 😊
Thank you for this video!
😍 best moment in time is when dr dray uploads.
Dr. Dray, thank you for sharing ❤ what are your thoughts on Multi-Lamellar Emulsion (MLE)? Could you do a video about it and products that contain it, like Korean Atopalm. Thank you ❤❤
Nice video! I will try the RetrinAL 0.1 intensive cream.
I love even the simple Cold Cream.
Hi Dr. Loved the way your each and every details. What's your advice on Avene cicalfate repairing protective creme and Avene D-pigment?
Just what I was looking for!
Top 10 Tuesdays! (Besides the Inkey List that came on a Thursday, hehe.) Love this series.
So glad to hear your comments on their eye cream. I have been using their Retrinal 1.0 and really like it but it was irritating around my eyes and I debated about buying the eye cream. Since watching your video I decided to give it a try! Just ordered it! Thanks for providing insight and knowledge about all these products. I thoroughly enjoy your videos!
How was it? Did you like it?
Hi Dr! Thanks for the video!! Can we replace the normal sunscreen with the mineral compact?
I started using Avene products sometime last month and bought XeraCalm products for my eczema prone skin and I loved it. My skin looks so much better and keep getting compliments of how clear my skin is.
Really??!Did u also try the euccerin with urea or not i really don't know which one i should use 😫😫
I love how you said, "As we get 'wiser'". Love that positive framing! xx
This review comes at the perfect moment (there's avene sale in my country right now)
Time to restock!!!
Dr Dray is always two steps ahead ,Thank you so much!!
Can u review a-derma or ducray brand next?please
Love Avene. Great video thank you!!!!
how often would you reccomend using the retrinal advanced wrinkle corrector? and what products should come before and after?
Although eye cream is not necessary, i love having it in my routine and I use their eye cream. Im on to my second bottle and very happy with it.
Thank you as always!
I am so happy to have found the avene tinted spf🥰 A bit pricey but a good investment for your skin. Will also try other products that you recommended.Thank you!❤
Dr Dray I just finish watching your video and I would definitely check out the skin care product you recommend for my skin
thanks for watching
Xeracalm is a lifesaver. Thank you
Love the top 10! Can you please do top 10 La Roche Posay?
Love the top 10. I'm avene fan I always get good deals on black friday or cyber Monday onday.
yeah they have sales on their site around most holidays, so it is a good time to stock up
What sale do they typically have for Black Friday/cyber Monday? Like 20% off?
I’m wondering the same. Are the sales ever over 20% off? Thanks!
@@DrDrayzday Die Inhaltsstoffe von Avene sind doch verheerend? Da ist ja alles drinnen was in eine gute Kosmetik nicht reingeht?
Would the Xeracalm cleansing oil be effective as a first cleanse to remove makeup and sunscreen?
You angel for making sections on the video for future reference.
I was thinking of trying this range out thankyouuuuu
Hi dr dray,
Would you recommend putting a moisturizer over the retrinal .1 even if it’s not irritating? Would it be ok to use this as a last step?
Hey, Dr. Dray! I would love to know what you think about the products for acne-prone skin from Avene. I just hate those products but, it would be great to hear your opinion.
Loooove Avene! Thank you!👏👏💕💕
As always love the videos! Thank you for giving us such informative videos 😊 question, could you do a video about how to have makeup look good on skin or how to fix problems with foundation laying on skin? I have a simple skincare routine and no matter what I do my makeup looks like it clings to dry patches I didn't have before I out my makeup on and it doesn't lay nice, like you can tell I'm wearing a foundation.
Just a thought! I know you don't wear any really so I'm not sure it's something that you could help with but just a thought 😊
I LOVE YOU MISS DOCTOR DRAY!! 💖
Hi! Great video. Instead of the mineral compact, could I use the mineral milk that's intended for the body (100 mL tube)? I don't see why I shouldn't use it on the face...
Great. Thank you.
Happy Tuesday D Dray...see you tomorrow x💙🤩😊
Hi, Dr. Dray! Any recommendations for dark circles under the eyes?
I use tretinoin around the eyes. It takes a while to get to a point where it doesn't dry out your undereyes, but it's totally doable if you're persistent. same with the lips. I treat my entire face now and I'm loving the results. As long as you keep in mind that any peeling, dryness and irritation is only temporary as your skin adjust to the tret, you really can just soldier through it. it definitely gets better and a few months later, you won't even feel it at all. I'm so glad I didn't give up because all the irritation is completely gone now.
Every time I’ve used tretinion it bothers my eyes to the point of feeling it is bothering my sight not just dry eye is this common just asking if you might know.
So glad I just saw this comment. I was debating on stopping the tretenoin around my eyes because I felt that my under eye wrinkles are getting worse. I’m thinking now it’s just the drying. Not sure how old you are but I’m 50 and started using it to get rid of wrinkles and not to create more. Lol
I put a light eye cream around my eyes first then put Tretinoin on my face and then gently swipe around my eyes with the remaining Tretinoin left on my fingers. The skin will build up a tolerance to it if you introduce it slowly.

Moisturizer first!
How long did it take your skin to adjust & stop peeling from tret to lips & eyes ?
Please do top 10 of bioderma also. Much love.
Greetings Dr. Dray hope u r well n 🖐Hello Every1 n Happy Tuesday😀n what a Wonderful Vid.... thanks n we love your Top 10 Faves (this 1 Being Avene) Series👍n Continued Blessings to All💜.....
Helo! one of the ingredients in the Mineral tinted compact SPF 50 is BHT and I heard that it could be carcinogenic, is this true? Thanks
Any thoughts on Clarins skincare products?
The Cicalfate post procedure emulsion is effective for acne prone skin? I always thought that we needed to steer clear of pore clogging.
you have convinced me to try avene!
The Xeracalm cream was a life saver for me when I was using tret for the first time. It's so good!
Could a person with regular dry skin use this? Or only eczema prone skin?
@@doejohn6197 i think its fine. Maybe u could use a little less.
hi there. I just want to know which avene product is perfect for removal of pigmentation and skin brightening?
Would be good to see a video with updates on formula changes on products previously recommended.
What about using the RetrinAL advanced wrinkle corrector all over the face including the eye area instead of the separate eye cream? OR Is the eye cream formulated better for the eye area?
Hellow Dr Dray thank you for your educational videos. I have a question for the usage of Avene Retinal cream. Do we have to apply a moisturizer first as with tretinoin or it is applied directly upon the skin. And the second question is. Do we have ro train our skin as well, first twice a week and so on? Or we can use it every night. I haven't used retinol products again. Thank you in advance. Kisses from Greece
