Looks very yummy. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. You give a lot for us to enjoy . God bless . Life is good . Ii just turned 78 the 30th of August and I’m still fishing and enjoying life . God has really blessed me .
I have been meaning to ask you about the deck barrel livewell. Other than being conveniently located, why do you use it instead of the boat's livewell?
I am from Alabama my father and I would enjoy catching bass for the tuggle war and throw them back for another day. But agree with you crappie and bream stayed in the boat. Crappie is excellent, but nothing compares to the sweet meat of bream. Mother alway used your recipe being a Louisiana woman. Nothing compares ! Thank you for teaching others what Southern Delights are all about!
Excellent video! Thank you. The Lord's plan is for you to be the great fisherman that you are, and educate others through your videos. You've been a big influencer for me.
That was much appreciated! Just wished I could have pulled up a chair and had a bite. Thanks for taking the time to show the rest of us how to make a proper mess of fish. 😊👍
One of the most realistic video's I have ever seen on UA-cam. I appreciate you. You remind me of my brother-in-law Stoney. He always fixed his fish like that and ate the tail as well. He called them fish chips.
@@williamboyd776 I was sketched out the first time trying bluegill, everywhere I looked said to make sure and eat the fins. Was nervous and a little grossed out at the thought until I bit in. Instant favorite 😂❤
First time I've come across one of your videos. I have to tell you, I did triple-take when I saw you in the kitchen. You are a dead ringer for my last manfriend. You could be twins, I swear. I enjoyed the video because I live on a lake where I can catch these fish all day long. I enjoy seeing how others clean and cook them. I feel most any fish caught and eaten the same day is the way to go. Otherwise, I make chowder. To freeze, I put water in the bag with the fish. They don't get frost-bitten that way. Nice video, Sir!
Great video! I grew up in the country and our neighbor about a mile down the road lived an old man who had grown up in the community and had always fished in our pond long before we owned it. After my parents bought the place in the 80's, he continued to fish there just like he always had. I remember my dad saying that he had more right to those fish than we did. The old man would sometimes invite us over to eat fish and this is exactly how he would fry them up. As a kid, I didn't appreciate the bones much but now it's a great memory. RIP Mr. A.J. Harris -East Caney TX
I lost my Fishing Buddy in 2015 & haven't Fished or Crabbed since, we were a Team. Your video is just Fabulous & WOW your fish cooked looked amazing. I would be so proud to sit at your Table if invited. Cheers Denise- Australia
Howdy, old fisherman! Thank for taking us with you on your fishing adventure and for the awesome knowledge you provide to the fishing community especially the youngsters like me who's goal is to enjoy fishing and processing it the right way. Keep up what you do and happy catchin' and cookin'. Cheers from a fellow fisherman in the Nevada Desert! God bless.
My daddy never had a boat so he would pond fish. He loved bream and that is about all he would fish for. Hard to beat the taste of bream. You have some of the best size here to eat. Man o man.
Tu for sharing your fishing, cleaning, and cooking methods. I have never cut the notches in the fish before but now I can see why I would do that. Very real and informative video 🎉❤😊
Those look so good! Made me fish hungry. That's exactly the way I cook them except I put corn meal in a zip lock bag and after I salt & pepper I throw the fish in and close the bag and shake it around. It coats them really good and it's faster. Thanks for the video

Thank you sir! My granddaddy used to take us fishing and we’d have a big fish fry. Mmmmm that fish baptized in hot grease is so good. Hoping to take my young son fishing soon
This is classic...salt, pepper, and cornmeal. I might have added some Old Bay to the cornmeal. It doesn't matter, it don't get more basic or delicious than this. This is the fish my Grandpa made, and I remember the dozen or so relatives that spent the whole weekend at his house loving it. Big huge pot of beans, a ton of cornbread, maybe some fried rabbit, all kinds of fish fried in this manner, big, huge skillet of fried potatoes, and whatever was ready from the garden. All the kids sleeping on the living room floor. Lighting farts in our underware in the dark and laughing so hard it hurt ...had to throw that in lol
Like number 168. Well you gone and done it this time . You made the perfect video. That was awsome . Now that's what I call a complete video from the lake to the table. Loved it brother 👍🏻🎣🎣🙏
Nice videos. I just wanted to say that if you're into self made tools you can screw some metal bottle caps to a stick and use it as a fish scaler. I used a shaped piece of cedar with 3 bud light caps to make mine and it works great.
You’re a lot of fun to watch. Always wanted to learn how to cook bluegill, like your way of cleaning and cooking looks good. Have to go now and catch some bluegill. From Missouri the “Show me State” and you do a pretty good job of doing it too.
