What don't these people understand?. Weapons in the high school had to be addressed. What do you expect the school to do? Metal detectors make sense. No backpacks is another solution. Why can't you get a plastic bag that's clear for your child to carry her books? People complain about everything. If someone got killed there would be outrage because the school didn't prevent it. The school tries to prevent weapons being brought in and people complain. It blows my mind. The woman who said it was never like this when she went to Brockton HIgh should recognize that we live in a world where nobody takes accountability for their behavior. It wasn't like that when you were a teen. There are a lot of people in Brockton who are so ignorant. It disgusts me. I've watched it get worse over the years. You can't even drive without it being dangerous. People run red lights at every light I stop at. You would have to see it to believe it because it sounds untrue but it isn't. It's no joke. Red lights mean nothing. The rules of the road don't apply to these people. The majority of drivers are like this. There are a lot of ill behaved, rude, teens being raised by people who aren't teaching them civility. The teens at Brockton High who are violent or carrying weapons are the reason for the actions taken by the school. Wake up people. Stop complaining and blaming the people who are trying to find a solution. Stop complaining about the inconveniences. The woman who said its something different all the time, yes it is. That's the law. Anyone causing trouble needs to be suspended. The kids who are there for an education will get it if the problem teens are dealt with. I hate to break it to them but this is exactly what the NG would have done, for starters. How about getting a list of the problem brats, and we all know there is a list, and start holding each one individually responsible? Or does that make too much sense?
