Hey yall, just mix whatever water soluable fertilizer you use and put in a 1 gallon sprayer and go to town. If you have a larger sprayer put it on a garden wagon, tractor, or even a golf cart. Just drive around and hop out when you need to. This has made it easier for me with my large hydrangea and rose garden. ( this is how I put on my fungiside as well )Plus there is always those flowers way out by the driveway. This is not a permanent fix, but will give you relief until you to save up for the "LI'L BUD-D" Happy Gardening. !!!!!!!🌹🌻🌼⚘🌺🌱🌿

I was going to suggest getting a WORX Aerocart because they have an accessory which is a 20 gallon water bag. I have one and I love it for gardening, however, I just went on the Worx website and they discontinued the water bag, so you can only find it on EBay. I have no idea why it's discontinued, because the Worx Aerocart is wonderful and that was a great addition. You can buy the bag on Ebay, and use it on a regular wheel barrow, it doesn't have to be an Aerocart......just a suggestion. I use Proven Winners as well. I'm going to check out the Bloom that you suggested.

That’s like a $1,300 setup. I doubt any homeowner would use this. More for commercial instances. Dosatron is the industry standard for car washes. Also inportant you use a check valve like you see on the output. Def not a good setup for homeowners. Overkill

About a month ago I nabbed a bottle of Espoma's Grow! at my local Fred Meyer. I was lucky to find it, as I haven't found it in stock anywhere else, but it was on clearance so I'm not sure I'll be able to get it there in the future. Too bad, too-all my plants are looking great from using it!

So it is only the annuals that need weekly fertilizer? Hurray! I was trying to do my perennials as well! What schedule do they require?
I use Plant Tone and Holly Tone on everything. It's like a miracle in a bag, especially for the acid loving plants. Tomato Tone is fabulous for tomatoes and peppers.
Thank you for another very informative fact and result based video. I really enjoy the excitement that you and your husband show about your plants. As my grandmother would say, " the proof in in the pudding". I will certainly use this method at my personnel nursery, in Mobile, AL., going forward. Can you do a video on Nepenthe's?
One a week? I never fertilize. Ever. This is weird to me. But then again I compost and don't use bagged soil.
Our community has very poor soil and without constant amendment trees and plantings suffer. We've had great success with injected mycorrhizal fungi and organic fertilizers from one of our commercial tree companies. Unfortunately they charge and arm and a leg for application. This looks like it would be the perfect solution and would pay for itself on one season. The biggest hurdle is, like the fertilizer is how much to use. Mycorrhizal products are too expensive to just 'wing it' 😑...
That is one SERIOUS machine.

Just purchased the eco cart with injector. We too have been using Proven Winners fertilizer using a watering can, way too slow. In the video you said you use the whole two and a half pounds in the bucket. In the video you seemed to be "winging it" on the amout and asked any viewers if they knew differant to respond. My question is have you determined and are you still using the whole bucket of fertilizer at one time? Thanks

Great tips. How do you fertilize your vegetable garden though? I watered my herbs with fertilizer and I think it burned the leaves. Should I use a van with a spout so I can just water at the base?
Very helpful when it comes to fertilizing I want my annuals to do good and my perennials I definitely need all the info I can get I need to know what to do, how much to do it. Ugh I need my plants to be pretty

When planting this year I used a "Continuous Release Plant Food" to mix with the soil and "Alaska Fish Plant Fertilizer 5-1-1" every two weeks for my plants. I'm debating should I get the "Espoma BL24 1-3-1 Organic Bloom Fertilizer?" Or will that be to much fertilizer?
Did you ever dial in what percentage to use proven winners fertilizer with the donation D14MZ2? I just bought one and can't wait to use it on my clients properties.

After watching this, I ordered one from Berry Hill Irrigation, alittle over $ 800.00. I hook this to my drip line for my 300 roses, it sure save alot of work and my back. Love your videos. This was really helpful. I have about 10 pots around my property and it takes a while to carry my watering bucket everywhere, but...not ready for that Dosatron yet.
That is so cool!!! Our garden is fairly small so we don't really need a watering system, although it can be tiring watering by hand everyday.
I figure that the people who are judging my ancient shoes are the same people who don’t know how it feels to love gardening so much you cease to care about the shape of your footwear.
Every serious gardener and plant lover I’ve ever met has had “those” shoes that are just destroyed but “they’re still good!!” 😂

I tried to be more diligent about fertilizing last year, it became hard to keep up with buying the fertilizers though so I am going to try something different this year.

Thanks for the videos ! Love the Dosatron Idea, you have any updated advice on which Dosatron unit to use? Suggestion, we started using cheap metal hoses in our garden and they are very light and slide around the paths and flower beds and disturb less than the heavy rubber hoses we used for years.
Thanks Laura, great tips on different fertilizers and the amounts to use for the flowers we each have, I know I need to fertilize just not sure how often or what kinds work the best. Now I can go and get my fertilizer and get to feeding my flowers and plants.

This is pretty much what we use for our greenhouses and market. Not the cart just the injector.

What is the difference between plant-tone and biotone?
I don’t know if you’d answer this, but can I use Biotone starter AND the PW slow release pellets (or Osmocote) in with annuals and started vegetables? Or is using two overkill? I like that the PW is slow release and releases nutrients as it gets hotter out.
