While the Red Nocturnes did represent the "Fire" family of spells, I think the Crimson Jazz were meant to represent the "Flare" family, which isn't super common in KH, but is a pretty big deal in your Finals Fantasy. Flare tends to be a very powerful endgame spell, which explains why the Crimson Jazz are so beefy and only show up late game.
I like to think the Aeroplane is just the Heartless of Tsunderplane from Undertale. I have zero evidence of this besides the fact that both are sentient airplane things, but it's my working theory for the moment regardless.
I would like to note that Hot Rods as well as their Rememberance counterparts are incredibly weak to Blizzard Magic, which can pretty much one shot them in the later game once your magic is strong enough. This is actually noted in the Journal entry for the Rememberance version, and I'm pointing it out here because it's really helpful in skipping their invincible phase if you do it right. For some reason nobody ever points this out so I'm doing it. EDIT: It appears only the Rememberance version have the Blizzard weakness specifically... for some reason, but Magic still works decently well on both of them either way. It is always good to experiment.
@@KodasGarden According to the wiki, it seems only the Remeberance version is weak to blizzard. I had distinctly remembered it working on normal ones too, but it has been a long time. Pat my guy, I absolutely love this type of stuff. It’s informative and incredibly high effort, it’s amazing to see how far you’ve come. Not to say it was bad before, but only that it keeps getting better. I appreciate the shoutout in that “after the battle” video, I’ve been here all along, and I’m not leaving any time soon!
Something I'd like to add about the Shaman + Living Bone: if a Shaman and a Living Bone are in the same area, the Shaman can actually mount the Living Bone, therefore powering it up. This essentially never occurs, as the only instance in which they both appear in the same area as separate Heartless is in the Elephant Graveyard after defeating Scar, but before 1000 Heartless. It's actually kinda cool and it's a shame you don't usually see it in a typical playthrough.

Neo Shadow's reaction command is actually a reference to one of the coolest parts to the secret Deep Dive video where Roxas does a stylistic air combo on the neo shadows as they jump after him. It'd be a lot cooler if the neo shadows & the reaction command were both in The World That Never Was... Unless I'm miss remembering 🤔
I honestly had no idea that the Samurai we're commanded by Roxas, or at least affiliated with him in some way. It makes a great deal of sense seeing as Roxas was the only swordsman amongst the original Organization XIII (not counting Xion). Before the Ninja was introduced in Kingdom Hearts III, I had just assumed that the Dancers we're Larxene's minions because they we're the Nobodies that anatomically appeared female and because of how fast and agile they we're. Of course, it never occurred to my dumb ass that Square Enix obviously wouldn't have created Nobody minions for the Organization members that died in Chain of Memories. The idea that the Dancers are actually Demyx's backup dancers makes more sense and is just so funny and perfect to me. That being said, is anyone else kind of pissed that Vexen, Lexaeus, and Zexion didn't get their own Nobody minions? I mean Maluxia got the Reapers and Larxene got the Ninja. Here's what I think their minions would be. Vexen's minions would be the Guardians. They'd wield shields that they could merge with, and they could freeze you in place with a power strike. You could perform a Reaction Command called Shield Break right before they launched their power strike to temporarily destroy their shields, leaving them vulnerable to attack. Lexaeus' minions would be the Tanks. They'd wield tomahawks which they could use to pummel opponents similar to the Berserkers. They could throw their tomahawks at you Strike Raid style, and you could retaliate with a Reaction Command called Throwback, which sends the tomahawk back at them. Zexion's minions would be the Scholars. They'd wield books similar to Akashic Records, and fight by using magic traps and pages from their books as weapons. If you parried one of their physical attacks, you could steal their book with the Reaction Command Bookkeeper, and blast them with a torrent of pages with the Reaction Command Page Turner. KH2 has actually no Magic - Physical split (Like pre Gen 4 Pokémon). Instead it has 6 attributes, those being Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Dark, Weapon and Other. The Silver Rocks, Emerald Blues and Spring Metal all deal Other type damage, as well as Sora during Antiform with regular attacks and Dark with the finishers. I think the shadows could deal Dark type damage when jumping to slash at Sora from the air but I'm not sure.

So, in keeping with the ""tradition"" I started on your first compendium, I will now identify the hottest non-boss enemy in KH2: *Heartless* - uuuuuhh... the Assault Rider? I mean, every other Heartless is too pokemon-y, so....yeah. Obviously, it's got absolutely nothing on the Invisible. *Nobody* - easily the Dancer or the Berserker (actually pretty easy to spell :/). Once again, the Invisible is still top dog.

Having been playing a lot of KH2FM recently, I can 100% confirm that Crimson Jazzes are a shit-load of fuck _But_ they can be helpful sometimes, like how I used the absurd vertical knockback from their attack where they have 3 Flares surround you to get the one puzzle piece in Beast's Castle Entrance Hall
Am I the only who back in the day thought Creepers were mean't to be Zexion's lesser nobodies? I mean they copy weapons like sword, shield, and a lance (All weapons wielded by other Organization XIII members, the sword form representing Roxas' Keyblade). Almost like it was copying those weapons? Like how Zexion copies Riku's soul eater in Re:COM? I swear if they called it the "Mimic" instead of the "Creeper" it would fit as Zexion's lesser nobody.
Interesting how Mushroom XIII and the others with him seem to ascend to the skies and disappear. Nice getting a new Keyblade AND an achievement out of it and a new shield from beating any of them.

So, in keeping with the ""tradition"" I started on your first compendium, I will now identify the hottest non-boss enemy in KH2:
*Heartless* - uuuuuhh... the Assault Rider? I mean, every other Heartless is too pokemon-y, so....yeah. Obviously, it's got absolutely nothing on the Invisible.
*Nobody* - easily the Dancer or the Berserker (actually pretty easy to spell :/). Once again, the Invisible is still top dog.
You say that being Pokémon-y draws away attractiveness points but the furries would probably disagree
@@handsoaphandsoap since my only experience with furryness(?) is watching beastars, I still stand by my original point. And keep in mind that assault rider is a centaur, so the furries are at least 50% happy
Having been playing a lot of KH2FM recently, I can 100% confirm that Crimson Jazzes are a shit-load of fuck
_But_ they can be helpful sometimes, like how I used the absurd vertical knockback from their attack where they have 3 Flares surround you to get the one puzzle piece in Beast's Castle Entrance Hall
Actually, the Mad Ride can't be launched in the air whatsoever, unlike the Hot Rods, which us a pretty significant difference in my opinion.
Been waiting for this one after I got suggested the first one. That's how I found your channel. Love what you're doing and I'm now a subscriber!
I just finished the first compendium and thought it was great fun, and then you throw this at me? I can only handle so much Pat.
Interesting how Mushroom XIII and the others with him seem to ascend to the skies and disappear.
Nice getting a new Keyblade AND an achievement out of it and a new shield from beating any of them.
THAT! I love. I absolutely love!
your comments about the trick ghost eyes/nipples had me cracking up. I was wondering how you would make a list of heartless into an interesting video but by zeus you did it
Terra definitely wouldn’t use a VPN.

My boy got sponsored, I'm so proud.
Also since you did 2 you kinda have to do 3 as well now, which I'd very much enjoy because I'm that guy who thinks KH3>KH2.
There is so much binge worthy content on this channel
When you mentioned the rabies pride thing you blasted me back to the past, I remember all that shit from tumblr and now wish the memories will leave me alone again
Not sure what i was expecting, but this was absolutely CRAMMED with humor and information. LOVE it :)
Didn't even realize that you were doing the sponsor until it was half through 😂
Let’s go new compendium video if only I didn’t just finish kh2, well at least I can watch this for entertainment. Also do you plan on making more compendium videos for the other games?
Inb4 anyone memes about “Unversed Compendium when”
