I thought I had all the Sonic game gear games and saw Blast for the first time for sale as a cheap TV game that plugs directly into a TV through composite jacks around 2005. I legit thought it was a bootleg game. Imagine my horror when found out it was an official Sonic game.

I swear, the Genesis ending theme of 3D Blast is so damn good, why is it that next to no one has ever remixed it? It is well deserving of it. I swear, if Proj 2017 remixes any songs, the Genesis 3D Blast Theme should be it, that and Aurora Ice field just for the hell of it.

I disagree about the character sprites for Sonic Blast. Those pre-rendered graphics resembles Sonic and Knuckles more than "that" Sonic Heroes commercial.

Yeah, strangely enough, the Sega consoles had quite a cult following here in Brazil back in the 90's, this is the one place where Mario actually lost in popularity at the time.
This TecToy company (the one you can see at the bottom of the Sonic Blast cover 6:19) not only made the Genesis we had here, they STILL manufacture not only those, but also Master Systems. They have no cartridges and just used pre-installed games instead, but hey, it has Sonic, so I can't complain.
Also, they are now re-launching the Genesis here with HDMI support and sporting a SD Card port for running ROMs, if I'm not mistaken. They will come with pre-installed games too.
Pretty sure it also won over in Australia if I'm not mistaken. They had a Sega amusement park there!

No, I kind agree. Labyrinth is pretty neat in concept, a little maze challenge game that doesn't overstay its welcome. But as stated here, the slippery spin-dash is my only real gripe.

i really like your aproach to advertisement. At the end of the video,not intrusive,self aware and short to the point. Aaron Usher It's available on DX but for some reason the image is very dark, it's better in Gems.
even if I'm sadly yet to complete every game on MC and Jems, I'm still glad I got the chance for a decent price on these two collections. Though the gamegear games are the ones I have the least experience with. My main sonic handheld nostalgia games are definitely sonic advanced 1 and 2.

actually wouldn't mind seeing the "eggman tampers with sonics shoes" concept again(since the boom cartoon of all things did something cool with that idea.)maybe have it be if you don't control sonic's speed he blows up with whatever speed he's using goes to powering up his weapons and in a puzzle way you have to get it weakened with the set speed changing rapidly.
