I'm 26 and I think it's definitely time to make a change in my lifestyle. The way he described being hungover for 4 days was spot on. I stopped skating, stopped playing music, lost countless jobs and opportunities all due to drinking and partying. This was the push i needed, seeing a dope skater/person do it is very inspirational. How can losers find a way to hate on this is beyond me.

Neen's an inspiration. I dunno if he also quit pot, but at 30 I decided to put down the ganja after burning almost daily for like ten years. Quit boozing about 5 years ago. I don't regret that part of my youth, I've just had my fill and it's time to move to the next stage in life.
I've been working towards my pilot's license ever since quitting, which was a lifelong dream. Probably wouldn't have followed this path if I kept partying and getting high. I don't really miss chasing that buzz anymore. I'd rather stay sharp and healthy to fly another day. That view from the cockpit is makes it all worthwhile, at least for me.

I've been smoking since 16 and I'm 22 now also. for the last 2 years I've had a bad weed addiction like I couldn't go more than 2 days without smoking or I'd just feel so irritable and unhappy I was smoking 5 days a week sometimes the whole week if I could afford it. I still smoke, but the last 3 months I've been cutting down a bit and have a gram or 2 every 2 weeks. I feel a lil better and it's nice not being so reliant on it to feel happy. I enjoy it alot more now too because I get really stoned everytime I smoke like its my first time. Weeds good, some people can smoke it everyday and they're OK, but for most people it's best in moderation, like a treat or an occasion. Same goes for alot of things really like soda, alchohol etc.

Dude it got to the point where i wasn't even having to score my own tree, the people i was associated with just always had it. One buddy would invite me to smoke, id kick it we skate, click up with other homies who were blowing down, always searching for that first high feeling or just pushing the envelope. After being drunk almost daily for the past 5 years of my 20’s I am glad to say alcohol no longer has a hold of me. It was a bitch to drop it but I’m thankful one day I woke up and decided this was it. After almost just 2 weeks sober I noticed a change in my skin and mood. I am now 2 months in and just looking forward to staying alcohol free. It’s much funner since I can remember my nights and have started working on my self for the better♥️ it really numbs you and makes you think things are ok when In reality life slips you by and when you realize you’re deep into an addiction with no one to turn to but yourself and if you’re too drunk to figure things out on your own it’s like a dead end street. I hope everyone who needs it gets help before it’s too late.

But I'm 25 now, he is right that your body changes. It's impactful to see an the heel flip legend come out and open up about this. For all the young skaters out there, and even my age. Listen to this man!! He's got a good point. I fell on my wrists after skating drunk. I didn't stretch and now my wrists are damaged for life. I do stretching more now to help rehabilitate that. hevquip "only," no. but it takes a significant experience to change ones habits, and when someone who's already open to drugs takes enough shrooms, there you have it. so who knows, really, but it's by no means far-fetched!

Cry it out, if you have to, but don't ignore the reasons why you feel that way. Come to terms with why drinking isn't a healthy lifestyle choice and try to move on from it. It will be hard, you will probably lose friends, and you will likely be a much better person, for yourself, when you reach the other side ( being ok with being sober and loving the person you are, naturally). Best of luck to you, though, you can do it!
