I would like to have the option to mount the antennas outside the box, so they extend above the box. I think this would improve signal reception, perhaps significantly, if the line of site is through the battery.
Somewhat trivial, but if you are heading out to a remote location to make the change, bring a #1 (small) and a #2 (normal) Philips screwdriver. you don't need the #3.
